Several things happened when we last left off Pooh and his friends. We met Carrot of the Salad Liberation Front, got a few items, and we got to explore some geysers. By the way, why hasn't Pooh been talking a lot lately? This is his adventures, after all!
Sam returns to the dock to leave Otto for a while. We'll see him again later for something important. In the meantime, Sam goes to the mines, where sock 7 is found. The oil can is used to magically get the rust off of a mine cart's wheels, which really pleases it. Sam hops in, and Tennessee Tuxedo tells everyone to get ready for a "bumpy ride"... while wearing a raincoat.
Now here is something you do not normally see in a point-and-click adventure game- Minecart Madness. Don't worry, it's just a fun little roller coaster ride for Sam. Meanwhile, socks number eight and nine are found. Sam finds a mining pick, which the mine cart questions about. It will also be important later. Oh yes, and Ttark, will you please NOT interrupt the minecart mid-sentence?
After a ton of screens of fun, sock number ten is found. A few more screens later, Sam finds some gold, and he shares it with the mine cart. After more exploration then what was done in all of the episodes of Paper Kirby combined, Sam finds sock eleven and sock twelve. That concludes this part.
