Hello again, and welcome to my LP. Last time, The party got separated, Leaving Luna to go off by herself, finding Fluttershy and Applejack along the way, and Discord proved he is the world's biggest a-hole by killing a entire castle full of innocents for shits and giggles.

Now, in the Comments, someone mentioned that there was a Chest Monster I could have found While chasing Discord in the camp. Here's the thing, I in fact did get that chest, I just didn't realise it was anything significant at the time. It did drop a nice hat though. ^_^

Anyway, Luna and the party wander away from the castle, and eventually stumble across the Everfree Forest. It'a full of ghosts for some reason. There actually really easy to kill. They don't drop much Xp or Gp though. They know magic though, so they can do alot of damage if I don't kill them quickly.

There's a recovery spring here. Useful.

Sigh, this place is a maze. It has an odd side perspective, too.

A train station? What? Apparently, this was destroyed by the empire a while ago. Luna thinks the place has survivors from the castle. Lets look!

Ok, no survivors, and it turns out the train is haunted. I guess I should have guessed that with the ghosts.

Oh, the train set off with my party on it! Wait, I'm not done exploring the forest yet! The doors locked. (Though to be fair, since the train is moving, that is probably a good thing...)

So, this is a phantom train? Apparently, it runs though this forest, but always arrives empty. Lets hope its because no one gets on it, not because bad things happen...

Right, there are ghosts on the train... Some of them are bomb ghosts. (Its fun to control them with Fluttershy, and make them explode harmlessly)

There are some NPC ghosts on the train as well, some attack, but others do things like run a shop. You don't know which is which until you talk to them though.

OK, one of the ghosts on the train wants to join my party... Sure, why not.

Oh crap, a ton of ghosts are trying to trap me. Its OK though, as AJ and Luna know how to Superjump from one train carriage to the next. (Presumably the ghost just floats along and Fluttershy, well, flys.)

OK, the ghosts are not giving up! The party decides to detach the carriage to get away.

We come across what looks like the catering area. Luna decides to call waiters for a feast. Not sure if that's a good idea Luna...

OK, Ghosts actually brought us food. AJ points out that it's ghost food, and is unwilling to dine. I don't blame her. Luna cares not though, and feasts anyway. It actually cures HP and MP. Yay?

OK, I find a chest, lets open it! Wait, what? OK then, Daring Do randomly jumps down from the ceiling, declaring the chest is hers. Not on my watch!

OK, I'm in a fight with Daring do. For no reason. She gets the first hit, Hits Luna, who counterattacks, and... Daring Do died in one hit... Some boss fight. Also, for an adventurer, Daring do is surprisingly poor. She only dropped 1GP!

Oh, what! She just grabbed the chest anyway and ran! Damn Ninja Looters!

Wait, what? you are not a ghost! At least you don't look like one. You look like a normal stallion. He told me how to stop the train. How nice of him.

Ah, Chest Monster! Its a spectre, this time. Wow, he creams AJ with magic attacks, and my ghost friend (Who has now permanently left my party because of death, but I can get another one.)... Anyway, I killed him, and he drops a Bionic Hoof Relic. Increases strength by 50%!

Well, back to the food cart to rez AJ.

Aww, my new ghost friend left me. I guess that means I'm nearing the end.

OK, found the train engine, and the engineer's room on it. Let's stop this crazy train! OK, three levers... Hmm... I know, Luna! Flip the switches up and down a bunch of times quickly!

OK, that does nothing... Hey, I found a note! It says to pull the first and third switch, then the switch outside. (There was a switch outside?)

OK, done. "Phantom train: So! You've been slowing my progress!" Wait, it talks?

AH! boss fight! With the train itself! Oh god, it's chasing us! Run! Run and fight! OK, I used Luna to scan this boss. It's lv 14, has 3800HP, 350MP, and is weak against fire. AJ, you know a fire attack! Use it! It's also Weak against lightning. Luna, use your Bolt Spell! And Fluttershy, heal the party with items because it's immune to stare, and that's all you are really good for, besides tanking!

...

OK... He killed me. Easily. I wasn't prepared for a fight, and I wasn't fully healed up...

Round 2!

... OK, he just OHKO'ed AJ... This isn't going well...

Wait, if he is a ghost... and this is Final Fantasy... Is Revive Kills Zombie in effect?

Nope... Cure just heals him.

Well, The train just confused my party. In response, Luna Hadoukened herself to death and AJ Killed Fluttershy. Good job team.

Well, I died again... Sigh...

Right, I actually don't have time for a third attempt right now. Sorry this part is a bit short, but real life calls to me. On the bright side, If any of you have any hints on how to kill a train, they would be useful here.

Until next time. ^_^

I thought throwing a Phoenix Down at it kills it instantly.

If Luna has Suplex, you should do that because it's funny. Otherwise I seem to remember Aura Bolt being pretty good in this fight.

Suplex was actually the best move to use against it in the original, considering the train's high Magic Defense - It may have been renamed, but it should be the third move in the "Anatsu" command. You could also have Fluttershy throw spare surikins, but I don't know how that compares to just having one equipped as a weapon - something that is only possible in this version of the game.

As for the Satellite enemy, there's one thing that fighting it lets you do - fight it again later! And win another Green Beret every time!

So, that random thief that only appears 2 or 3 times in the original game is being played by...a fictional adventure hero? And when I say fictional, I mean that within the fictional My Little Pony setting, the Daring Do novels are fiction, but now she's as real as the other characters in this game, and...oh, I should stop babbling right about now.

Best of luck with the train! And, hey, it could be worse; at least you have three ponies on your team! How could you not have three ponies, you might ask? Well...that might be a spoiler, so I'm not telling.
