Hello again, and welcome to my LP! This is it guys! (Again) This time I will succeed! I've gone and made it back to Discord. As before, Twi, Derpy, Pinkie, and Faust are taking point in this fight. So, lets do this! Boss fight!
Since I now have Ultima, I really should use it. It does about 9000 damage to all parts of Discord.
Status aliments are still a problem. I have the items to deal with it, but it ties up a party member to use one...
OK, section one went by without any problems, section two now, where I kept failing before. Wish me luck.
Faust is being my healer for this. The only problem is that unlike Twi, She can't cast twice, meaning that when he needs to osmose to gain back MP, she can't do anything else.
Ultima spam seems to work, but I'm worried that each part will activate it's [[ Turns Red pissy boss mode]] at the same time, which will hurt.
Wow, I can't tell what part does what attacks, so I don't know what to try and kill first...
Two parts out of five down... I may be able to do it, but it's not going to be a cake walk.
I've noticed that Pinkie is very much a Glass Cannon. She can deal Godly amounts of damage to a single target, (Technically, more than godly considering the statues) but she dies so easily. It's actually hard to keep her alive long enough to actually do an attack.
YES!!!! I did it! All of my party was up too, so I get to keep out my strongest. Now, on to part three of this fight... What am I fighting now?
Well, each section scrolls up this flesh tower thing, with various things sticking out if it that I have to fight. I appear to have reached the top of it now. I'd like to say it's the last part, but its clearly not Discord that I am fighting. (I don't think he turned into it). Second to last part? Anyway, more fighting. Only two bits of it to fight this time.
The music has gone oddly upbeat. Very weird compared to the serious music of the last two sections.
Oh god, he can heal himself. For 9999 HP on both parts! I need to crank up the DPS.
One part down... It instant killed Twi in revenge. I can get her pack up. Lucky I didn't kill that part last, or I would have had to swap her out.
... the other part just cast life two on the first.
Oh boy...
Ok, I downed the part that rezed the other one... But will the other part still do that instant kill?
Yep. Pinkie is out of the fight now, to be replaced by Trixie. (To be fair, she has earned a shot at taking down Discord. Without her, I would have never formed my party again!)
Here he is, Discord at last. He descends from the sky on his throne.
"Discord: Life... Dreams... Hope... Where do they come from? And where are they headed? These things... I am going to destroy!!"
Not while me and my party are here Discord! Let's do this once and for all!
... His first move was to get everyone to one HP. Good thing Derpy was airborn so it missed her.
Derpy's paladin shield is helping me out, as she is taking the blows for the others while they get their HP up.
Discord can do so much damage... He even has that damn instant kill blaster move. I really hope I can keep the party alive...
Lets scan him. He is level 71, has 65535HP, 38000MP and no weaknesses.
Hmm, apart from that make everyone have 1 HP move, he has no real quirks to him.
Arrgh, I'm spending more time resurrecting my guys than attacking!
Oh, right, Twi can morph into her esper form. I should do that.
Heh, I've built up a ton of Morph time by not using it. The timer bar for it is hardly going down at all!
Ahh, only Twi is still up, res them now!
"Discord: The end comes... Beyond chaos."
What? Oh wow, he did a very impressive looking attack called Goner, which did... Hardly anything? Ok, Twi is an esper, and everyone else is dead, but apart from damage to everyone, It didn't do anything special...
ARRRGGHH! Discord Killed Twi before she could get the others back up!
No, I'm not giving up. I'll do it again and again if I have to!

OK, I'm back to Discord. Pinkie died again on the way up.
You know what? This is the last fight (Probably. There was that time in Blue Dragon where I thought that and it wasn't the case, but...) so there is no reason no not use the megalixers.
I have Faust's Defibrillator too! Use that! His new weakness is... Wind. I can abuse that! Yes, the wind attack does 9999 damage now! More that Ultima can do! It uses less MP too.
This seems to be working... Just... Derpy can do almost nothing though. He seems to have very high defence...
Ahh, only Twi and Derpy are left. Twi is on 1HP Due to that make everyone have 1HP move. Derpy was in the air at the time.
Ahh, Twi is down... Derpy, use a phoenix down. It's a long shot since in only puts her at 1/8 of her hitpoints, but I'm not giving up!
Wow, Derpy gave her life to block an attack directed at Twi before she could start resurrecting. It was the Paladin shield's special ability, remember? She just stopped us from wiping. We are back in business!
Just how much health does he have left? I scan him, and he has about 1/3.
Arrgh! He wiped me again!
Damn it, it's too late in the day to have another go... Tomorrow, I'll try again. I'm not giving up while I'm this close!
