Hello again, and welcome to my LP. Last time, I recruited Derpy and Fluttershy, and attempted to reunite Pinkie with her father.
Today, I plan to check up on Twilight, then head to the cultist tower by the request of Mysterion.
OK, I'm back in Ponyville. Let's head to the cave and see how things are.
Hmm. Apparently, Bonbon is missing. Apparently, Lyra was being mean to her. That's not good.
A child says that Bonbon is going to have a baby. That, or she got fat somehow. I suspect the former.
Wait, If Lyra is Bonbon's Girlfriend, and they are both female... How exactly did Bonbon get pregnant? o_O
There's no sign of Twilight or Lyra either. I guess they are looking for Bonbon.
Ah, Lyra is in one of the few remaining houses on the surface. She confirms that Bonbon is pregnant. (Seriously, this raises serious questions.)
OK, I found a hidden doorway leading to another cave room in Lyra's room completely by chance. In it is a Twilight and Bonbon.
Twi is happy to see us. She says that Bonbon is having a baby. Old news, Twilight.
Bonbon says that while she is happy to have one, Lyra seems miserable.
Lyra walks into the room. She clearly overheard. She apologises, saying she didn't know how to handle this. She says she has been a jerk, but she is learning. She asks Bonbon to come back to her.
Huh? The ground is shaking... One of the kids run in. He says that Phunbaba is back. Looks like it is up to my party to save the day! I run out and fight him. Boss fight time!
I scan him to learn his weakness for Scootaloo to exploit with. He has 26000HP, and has a weakness to Poison.
Not that is matters, as before I can start a dance, He just uses a move to blow Scoot and Luna out of the fight.
Twilight runs out of the house, and turns into her esper form to help us. Right, so now I have Twilight, Trixie, and Pinkie in my party. The battle continues.
Right, I now have a problem with my party. My normal plan is to get Trixie to Unicorn almost constantly, to absorb magic, as Luna has a non magical heal to keep us alive. Now, Not only do I not have my non magical healer, (Scoots dances can heal, but since I can't pick which move her dance does, its too unreliable) I also have a party member who's main form of damage is via magic, so cutting her off from that makes her more or less useless. It looks like I'm going to have to use Trixie as a healer, and hope for the best.
Also, Twi seems to be permanently in esper form for this fight, Instead of having a timer for it. Let's see her damage output.
Twi and Trixie can hit for around 6000 using a low level poison spell, (Trixie has better gear I guess, allowing her to keep up with Twi's esper form) and Pinkie can hit for around 7000 with catscratch. I should be able to do this, easily.
Yep, easy. It helps that I attack alot faster than him it seems. He only got about 3 hits off. I get the feeling I was overleveled for that.
Anyway, all the children, and Lyra and Bonbon run out to congratulate us. They back off once they see Twi in her esper form though. They are scared of her...
One of the children however, slowly walk up to her, and says to her "Mama? It is you, Isn't it! I can tell..."
The others walk closer, confused at first, but then realising that yes, this is Twilight.
Twilight declared that she can fight. She says that she finally understands that not everything can be learned from a book. Sometimes, you have to go out there, make friends, fight your own battles, and live live yourself. There is nothing wrong with being the best at something, and it is OK to stand up for yourself and the ones you love.
Twilight starts floating, and says to Lyra that Bonbon needs her help, and so does her new foal. She then says to the children that 'Teacher' needs to go away for a while, but when she returns, the world will be a safe place to grow up in. The children tearfully say goodbye.
Twi says thank you to everyone, and adds that she didn't know what friendship could be, until you all shared this magic with me. (This game sure likes referencing the dialogue in the show, doesn't it?) Zecora, Celestia, and all of you, you have shown me that magic isn't something to be ashamed of. I'll fight to protect these fillies!
And back to the airship. That's one more party member down, just two more to go! (Presuming that there are no more new party members to find) Shame I don't have the vaguest idea where to start for Rarity. Oh well. Next, off to the cultist's tower!
Now, I have a problem... Do I use Trixie, or Twilight as my mage... Trixie has Unicorn, which is very useful, but Twilight is statistically the better mage even at her lower level, Plus she has her esper form. Hmm, for now, Let's go with Twilight and see how that goes.
Oh, what do you know. As soon I I enter, I spot Rarity in a formation of Cultists. Hmm. I hope that she is only there as a spy, not a member... She will not even talk to me, the same as the other cultists...
Ah a few non cultists outside tell me that inside the tower only Magical attacks work. Err, Than means that I'm limited to Trixie, Twi, Luna, and Celestia at this time. Not a great party formation, if you ask me...
One of them is willing to tell me some information on treasure, for 100000GP. That's alot of money... But I have it. OK then, he tells me that beneath the Canterlot desert is an ancient castle, full of treasure. (Full of treasure? Sounds like Bloom could be there!) Also, an old pony in a weapon shop is waiting for me in Neighshe. Well, I should check that out later.
As for Rarity, Well, who better to get her attention than Sweetie Bell? I bring her along. (Sorry Scoot!) Upon seeing Rarity, she gets angry, saying that she has been looking for her for the past year, and here Rarity is just pacing up and down! Rarity jumps in shock, then runs next to Sweetie. She asks if Sweetie is really here. Sweetie says of course, she started looking straight away, but it's tough going out there. Rarity says that she didn't know what to do without her. The though of losing her was too much to bear. Sweetie says that there is no way she would just give up on her sister. Rarity says to Sweetie that she is the most beautiful thing she has seen in her lifetime. Sweetie tells Rarity to stop embarrassing her, and that they should go. She agrees, saying that she will show Discord just what a 'Lady' can do.
We head back to the airship.
OK, so we don't talk about why she was a cultist? OK then, but that just seems a important thing to me...
OK, next stop, Neighshe! (I'll do the tower itself later)
... The door of the Weapon shop is still locked... didn't that Pickpocket tell me I need a master thief to open the locks? The only thief I know though is Bloom...
Well, off to Canterlot Desert to find the underground Castle, and hope that she is there.
...
It just struck me. How do I get to an underground castle? Hmm, By Canterlot Castle?
Wait, that underground castle better not have been Canterlot castle when it was stuck...
Well, I go to Canterlot Castle, and ask to to move back to the Canterlot desert. The driver says that there is something odd about this stratum. Sounds promising! Let's stop and explore. I exit the Castle via that escape route in the Prison. It leads to a new cave system!
...OK then. Pinkie, using Catscratch, Just did 9999 damage with just one of her two blows with that move. Seriously, Pinkie is OP.
Well, this place is another maze, this time involving lots of lower and upper paths to go.
Hey, a new weapon! What's this one called? Ah, it's of the Gambler item type, Which is Pinkie exclusive, (From what I now know of the original characters, wouldn't the Gambler item set be more appropriate to Dash's old character than Pinkie's?) called... Death notes. Really? The description simply says "DOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!" Well, it's better than her old Gambler item, so she gets to use it and play god for a while with it I guess.
Sigh, I really have to go now. It's not the best stopping point, but It will do. I'll just use a savestate.

No, seriously, How on earth did Bonbon get pregnant? Was magic involved in some way? Or a stallion? There is clearly something I'm not being told here...
