ROOK: I put Travis, Mike, and Preston on the 2nd floor, and went to it. They were going on a Paranormal/Charismatic mission, so I put on "Caught the Creepies" as the floor's music for 4 Paranormal, a Sarcophagus for 4 Paranormal and 1 Charismatic, a Theatrical Mask for 2 Paranormal and 1 Charismatic, a Harlequin Mask for 2 Charismatic and 1 Paranormal, a Séance Circle for 4 Paranormal (and 1 Smarts), a Space Mutant Sofa, Advanced Alien Sofa, Mythical Mask, Gold Statue, and Moai Head for 3 Paranormal each (with a little Smarts on the side), a Classy Sofa, Classy Bed, and Water Cooler for 3 Charismatic each (a little Athletic on the side), and a Baby Grand Piano, Picnic Blanket, and a Mad Skillz Guitar and Amp Combo for 2 Charismatic each. The floor full, I set off to see Jenny and get this mission going.
WALKER: We've got a good squad assembled here. I'mn a bit nervous seeing them walk through that portal, though. Don't worry, Rook. I'll be going with them and letting you know our progress every step of the way.
WALKER: OK. we're inside the Nightmare Realm. This place is bad news. The team is spreading out and looking for clues as to what caused these portals to appear.
MIKE: This was never supposed to happen! The crown! The nightmares! Make it all stop!
PRESTON: Someone just told me that money doesn't exist in this realm! How will people know I'm rich without money?!
TRAVIS: I see advertisements for this cool new phone everywhere, but every store is sold out! I must have it!
WALKER: Rook! We found Evelyn! She and Morcubus are both trapped. The two are inexplicably connected while in this realm. If we want to bring Evelyn back, we'll need to bring Morcubus as well. What should we do?
ROOK: ...Leave them. I know it seems cold, but... we're better off without Morcubus. I guess...
WALKER: The portals have become unstable and we have to get out of here. We'll be back in a few moments, but without Evelyn or Morcubus.
WALKER: No time to talk, Rook. The portals are sealing up as we speak and we're racing back. We haven't seen Morcubus or Evelyn for a bit. I'll relay my final report to Jenny!
JENNY: What a grueling mission. I'm just getting the final report now, Rook.
JENNY: The last report is in. All the rifts have been sealed and... nobody escaped...
ROOK: Then Morcubus is really gone. The city is finally safe.
WALKER: That's right. Chalk one up for the good guys.
ROOK: Agent Walker! I really wish this felt more like a victory.
WALKER: Hey, no one ever said that this would be easy. I gave you this job because I knew I could trust you to make the hard decisions. And in this case, you made the right choice.
ROOK: I wonder if Mike will see it that way.
WALKER: He knows better than anybody what Morcubus is capable of. He'll understand.
ROOK: So what happens now?
WALKER: Now? With Morcubus gone, Morcu Corp will start to lose its grip on the city. The citizens are safer now than they've been in years. Enjoy the peace you've created.
ROOK: To be honest, I wouldn't mind a little break.
JENNY: Me neither! Let's take the rest of the day off!
WALKER: Sure. You've earned it. But stay frosty! I'm sure the time will come when the city needs Special Agent Rook again.
ROOK: Yes, sir!
(So that was the sad ending. I didn't save, however, as I wanted to run through this mission again, but get Evelyn and Morcubus. So, pick three more agents and we'll do "One More Time"... one more time!)
