Badass Vegetarian

He'll scarf down broccolli and kick your ass!

Real Men Eat Meat right? Not this guy! This guy is so badass that he doesn't need meat to beat the ever-loving crap out of you. Might also be a Friend to All Living Things.

Compare Evil Vegetarian. Contrast Real Men Eat Meat.

Western Animation

Hmm...how is this a trope? Vegetarian + Badass is not a trope.

I guess you could argue this is a contrast trope buuut... we have so many of those and these are really weak examples here. Is there any sort of super trope for badasses with a soft streak?

If this isn't a trope (and I can see why it wouldn't be one), then what makes Evil Vegetarian a trope?

    Not a trope.

Might give it more leeway if it weren't for the fact there's way, way, way, way too many Badass tropes already.

@Willthisowork: A Badass or a Manly Man with a soft streak would be Real Men Wear Pink. Which is about a Man having non manly interests and hobbies. Vegetarianism, and inversions of Real Men Hate Sugar would be covered by Real Men Wear Pink.

RE: Evil Vegetarian doesn't seem to me to be a trope either.

Real Men Wear Pink is a manly man with a feminine streak. A Badass with a soft streak is Bruiser With A Soft Center.

Hanover Fiste, a supporting character in the Captain Sternn comics, can transform himself into a Hulk-like superstrongman, but is a strict vegetarian. At one point he's stranded in the Jurassic era before most flowering plants evolved,(where he beats up allosaurs barehanded) and has to subsist on pine nuts and edible mushrooms.

Not tropeworthy. Real Men Wear Pink should cover this well enough, I feel.
