    Yes, You always wears a hardhat on construction sites, it's legally mandatory, whether you work there or you're just visiting. And if you're invited to the site foreman's office for a cup of tea afterwards (stewed red with twelve sugars, as is also mandatory under British and Irish construction legislation) you might even get to sit on a chair! And the point of this is?

    Unfortunately, this is not a trope. People are required to wear hardhats on construction sites.

    It's an OSHA or comparable requirement to wear hard hats on a construction site, making this a case of People Sit On Chairs. Motion to discard seconded.
