Do We Have This One?? Is This Tropable?? Capes, hoods, and impossibly long clothes look cool on both heroes and villains. But what's even cooler is when they're used in battle. Note that this isn't Powered Armor and related defensive tropes; Combat Cape is when clothing is used for offensive purposes.
- Marvel Comics character Cloak used a cape to entangle opponents.
- In Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Frollo throws his cape over Quasimodo, then yanks him forward and almost topples him off a ledge.
