Also known as a pot haircut, a helmet haircut or a mushroom cut. A type of hairstyle where the hair is cut short on the sides and back and looking as though someone literally put a bowl on the head and cut off all the visible hair. A bowl cut is known as cheap and easy haircut to do (easily performed at home by mother) often sported by children. Historically, was common in the medieval ages. Used as a visual clue that the character is young or immature, or simple minded.
