Basically, an Idea that came to me while playing The Darkness, and I just wondered - why are these unbelievably ancient and uncountably priceless relics lying around the city? Some make sense, like a torture device in a torture room, but finding a bell previously thought lost for centures in the middle of a mob warehouse? Why are Cains ashes laying behind a grave in a new york cemetery? Why does your aunt have the Brotherhoods translation of the book of Revelations?

Happens in other games too, like the status filled with cocaine in GTA Vice City, or the ancient treasures found in modern buildings Uncharted 2 and 3.
