Fast Feet Slow Walk
A character walks slowly even though their feet seem to be moving very, very quickly.

Think of the way Marvin the Martian walks; he seems to move at regular speed even though his feet are a blur. I've noticed that this is a recurring gimmick in animation, and think it should have its own page. Here are some more examples:

Examples:

Western Animation

Video Game
  • Video game example: The "Super Banjo" cheat in Banjo-Tooie increases the player characters' running speed. If you try to make any one of them, especially Mumbo, walk more slowly by pushing the joystick more lightly, this trope comes into full effect because their speed and animation don't match up.

Anyone got any more?
