Hey, great idea, get Charles Nelson Reilly to do a guest voice! OK, two lines, plus some maniacal laughter. What? That's it?

They Wasted a Perfectly Good Cameo is what happens when someone famous is brought in to do a brief cameo... and it ends up being really brief. Such as Charles Nelson Reilly's appearance on Spongebob Squarepants mentioned above, or the musical number in the Rugrats movie where a large number of really famous musicians get together to sing a song, and get one or two lines each.

I think this is sufficiently covered by The Cameo and the YKTTW The Anti Cameo, depending on the situation.

By definition a Cameo is usually only a few seconds to a few minutes long, so this is redundant and subjective as well.
