Capitalism is a free-market economy. The word for using uppercase letters at the beginning of words is capitalization. I recommend that we change the working title to Conceptual Capitalization for now, and of course remain open to suggestions for better titles.

In the Harry Potter series, words for magic spells and their effects start with capital leters.

We absolutely cannot call this capitalism, it has to be "capitalization".

Apparating. House Elf. Levitate. Invisibility Cloak. Harry Potter is rife with capitalized words that should be common parlance to wizards.

In Discworld, the usage of such words is often lampshaded by having the characters somehow pronounce the capitalization.

Most important artifacts in Warhammer 40 K are capitalized. Except for the Shadowlight's first appearance, where every mention of it was in italics.

Can we touch on the capitalism pun, though? Unfettered Capitalization

    Also,
    • TV Tropes uses this for all its tropes and other pages, a side effect of how the auto-linking Wiki Words work.

Used heavily in the Septimus Heap series, but I'd have to dig up one of my copies to give some context to that.
