A character demonstrates skill with firearms that no one expected them to have, and then quips about how they played a lot of X-box or Nintendo. Seen in The Recruit on the firing range, and in I am Number Four in the final battle. Seen elsewhere to be sure.

As for truth, sure, video games develop hand/eye coordination but there is a lot more to shooting a real gun well than pointing and pulling the trigger.
