Ads like science... science is smart, proven and it works. So many ads try to reflect some of that cache onto their products.

A common way to do this is to create a Science Sounding Institute.

The SSI can generally be recognised by the following;
  • The institute populated by unfeasibly attractive scientists in pristine white lab coats holding clipboards, or more commonly, tablets.
  • The institute itself is a big white abstraction of a laboratory, looking like you could manufacture microchips in the cafeteria.
  • all research results are depicted in stunning three-dimensional animations.
