A character wakes up suddenly...and instantly runs afoul of a low ceiling, the bunk above them or possibly even a coffin lid. A classic physical gag seen in numerous works, usually to demonstrate that the character in question is about to have a really, really bad day. Can also turn into a running gag for really unfortunate sleepers.
