]. Before we vote on names, let's refine exactly what this trope is trying to accomplish.
1) Redefine as "A number in the name (e.g. 2000, 9000, 300, etc.) in order to convey advanced technology, futuristic technology, or power."
A) This concept is a subtrope of Naming Conventions. (Not a subtrope of Annual Title or Title by Number.)
2) Redefine as "A number in the name (e.g. 2000, 9000, 300, etc.) in order to convey cool-ness, edginess, radicalness."
B) This concept is a subtrope of Title by Number and Annual Title. (Not a subtrope of Naming Conventions.)
0) Do nothing TRS-related (other than a rename, which needs to happen anyway). This concept remains a subtrope of Title by Number.
3) Split off a new trope, defined as "The year 2000 (or similar) in the title in order to connote the new millennium with progress and remakes", a subtrope to Annual Title.
