* AlternateCharacterInterpretation:
** Did Sugar Plumps actually [[spoiler:discover her own paradise at the end of the game, or did she just switch one delusion to another? The gate operator implies that there is a room that simulates tropical environments somewhere in the Tomorrow Corporation.]]
*** There's also a half-joking theory that Sugar Plumps is [[spoiler:a pyromaniac liar who deliberately faked her own death and then manipulated you into burning your house down for no other reason than to see if she could get you to do it.]]
** Miss Nancy is even more divisive figure; is she a CorruptCorporateExecutive responsible for the world's current plight, a deluded woman who turns away from responsibility for her actions, or a kindhearted individual who tries to give people some kind of respite from the terrors of the world she has no power over, however temporary it may be?
* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: Many people consider the soundtrack the game's finest feature. It's available for free from [[http://tomorrowcorporation.com/little-inferno-soundtrack the developer's website]]. Beware of spoilers in song titles!
** The standout among the soundtrack is probably the song that plays [[spoiler:In the city at the end of the game. It's amazingly atmospheric for a relatively simple song, and it fits perfectly with the finale.]]
* DoNotDoThisCoolThing: Before the game starts, the player is given a warning to not play with fire.
* {{Fanon}}: While in the game she's never actually seen outside of a photograph of her face (thus meaning she's never seen from the neck down), Sugar Plumps is usually portrayed wearing a LittleBlackDress in fanart.
* FridgeBrilliance:
** Because of the heavy graphics generated by burning multiple items at once, your iPhone will noticeably '''heat up''' in your hands.
** [[spoiler:The snow is actually ash...]]
** Why is there no save feature for this game? Because [[ArcWords YOU CAN'T EVER GO BACK]] if you mess up.
** The major theme of the game? Focusing on warmth rather than the cold. It's the same as focusing on relaxation while excluding all work. Everybody is hardly doing anything, even though the world is freezing, and everybody is trying to stay warm rather than risk being cold for a second. Setting fire to various things provides easy and temporary warmth, instead of discovering why it's so cold and fixing it.
*** It's not just the temperature: The world's getting "colder" in the sense that there are no longer connections between people, and they "just don't know why" because they're distracting themselves to keep from dwelling on their isolation. The ending sees the main character [[spoiler:leave his house due to Sugar Plumps, seek out Miss Nancy, and go with the Weather Man.]] He might not know why it's getting colder, but at least he's trying to ''do'' something about it.
* SugarWiki/MostWonderfulSound: The opera singer, rather than jarring cartoony voice, has a very pleasant voice when activated.
* NightmareFuel:
** The Eager Bunny Plushie, especially those horrific noises it makes as it burns.
** The Celebration Bus, and a few other items, ''scream in pain'' when you set light to them.
** The promotional video from Miss Nancy, with its {{Creepy Child}}ren, IronicNurseryTune jingle, ''Literature/BraveNewWorld''-style feeling of willful dystopia, and the fact that ''everyone burns to death at the end''.
* TearJerker:
** [[spoiler:Sugar Plumps's house burning down, letter and all. Even the nice, fireproof curtains she made for you burn up and ruin.]] It's just so sudden, and in such an otherwise safe environment, it manages to be [[WhamEpisode really shocking]].
** [[spoiler:The ending. The whole thing... the main character's house burning, getting left by Sugar Plumps, Miss Nancy leaving, and then The Weather Man taking him away from the city, into the unknown.]]
* UglyCute:
** A lot of the plushies would apply to this trope, so would the little bugs skittering around the fireplace. Which makes it kinda [[TearJerker saddening]] as well as a little disturbing to see them get burnt to ash.
** [[spoiler:Sugar Plumps and the player character tend to fall under this, too, being somewhat thin, black-and-white, Tim Burton-esque creatures with big eyes as sweet-looking and innocent as they are off-putting.]]
