* BizarroEpisode: The "Flying Bathtub" episode is notably weirder than the other episodes, and breaks the normal formula: Unlike normal episodes, it's Bello and Mina who have a wacky adventure together, not Bello and Goomo, and in that respect is sort of also a [[SwappedRoles role reversal]]. [[BigLippedAlligatorMoment There's a rap sung by the characters]], not a pop number by Guille Milkyway like usual, the plot revolves around a literal flying bathtub and a brief scene involves a tap-dancing basketball.
* CultClassic: ''Jelly Jamm'' only aired two seasons and hasn't been heard from since 2013. A decade after its premiere, it still has a number of dedicated fans who actively talk about the show.
* EnsembleDarkhorse: Ongo is popular among older fans thanks to his [[OutOfFocus lack of appearances]] and MellowFellow personality.
* {{Fanon}}: Ongo being on the autism spectrum is a common theory among fans, due to him being mostly nonverbal and showing a few traits autistic kids also have, such as collecting sounds.
* FriendlyFandoms:
** A number of ''Jelly Jamm'' fans are also at least aware of the existence of, if not fans of (of all things) the ''VideoGame/PuyoPuyo'' video game series, probably because of their similar light-hearted, wacky natures. The fact that Ongo from ''Jelly Jamm'' and Maguro from ''Puyo Puyo'' look similar to each other with their prominent purple color schemes and hair that keeps their EyesOutOfSight hasn't gone unnoticed, either.
** Many fans of this show also tend to be fans of ''WesternAnimation/ReadyJetGo'', due to their shared quirky nature and use of music. Plus, Mina loves science just like Jet and his friends.
* LesYay: While you can interpret Bello's and Goomo's [[HeterosexualLifePartners close relationship]] as just a friendship, it's really hard to deny the subtext between Mina and Rita in "Home, Flying Home", which included Mina moving into Rita's house for a week, them spooning in bed and Rita undressing Mina in her sleep to wash her shirt. What follows is them trying to live a week together, which goes horribly because of their different lifestyles. After getting into a big fight, [[spoiler: Rita discovers that Mina tried the whole week to make a tea that changes colours specifically for Rita, and Mina realizes that despite their differences, she really likes Rita as well. They decide to spend another week together as roommates.]]
* MemeticMutation:
** Bello sounds like WesternAnimation/HorridHenry.[[labelnote:Explanation]]Back before the new COPPA regulations forced [=YouTube=] videos aimed at children to disable comments, you were almost guaranteed to find a comment that said something along the lines of this. The similarity of their voices is due to both of the characters being voiced by Lizzie Waterworth-Sante.[[/labelnote]]
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oN3c-Ycn31Y "Po, është vërtet shumë për të qeshur"]][[note]]There is an unlicensed Albanian dub of the series where Ongo speaks coherently, rather than his usual mix of babbling and sounds heard in every other version. Yes, it's as jarring as it sounds. This specific line, roughly translating to "Yes, that's really very hilarious", has gained some popularity among fans.[[/note]]
* {{Moe}}: All of the kids. Especially Rita.
* SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome: When Bello [[spoiler: restores his friends' memories by popping musical bubbles]] in "Silent Sheriff".
* SugarWiki/MostWonderfulSound: Whenever any of the kids laugh, it's pretty adorable.
** The musical bubbles that float all over Jammbo.
** The dodos squeaking.
* NeverLiveItDown: Several viewers consider Ongo laughing at Bello for his eye injury in "One-Eyed Bello" to be pretty low for him. What doesn't help is that Ongo was the one who injured Bello to start with (it was an accident, but Ongo doesn't seem to regret it much).
* PeripheryDemographic: Teenagers like it for how [[RuleOfCute cute]] it looks.
* SpiritualSuccessor: Can be seen as one to ''WesternAnimation/TheBackyardigans'', since they both have [[AmazingTechnicolorPopulation multicolored characters]], heavy focus on music, and a MinimalistCast. Ongo in particular is very similar to Austin, being a purple character who wears shorts and a t-shirt with a stripe and is known for being demure and having limited appearances.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSong: The Jammbobot song from "Inventor Bello" sounds almost lawsuit-level similar to the ''ComicBook/SpiderMan'' theme song.
* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: Due to the show being set on a planet that's [[PaintingTheFrostOnWindows the source of all music in the universe]], one would think they would go all out teaching kids about different musical methods and terminologies and things like that, but instead, the show opted to just teach kids generic life lessons you would see in other preschool shows.
%%* ToyShip: Bello and Mina.
%%** Some of the official art of the show [[http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/jellyjamm/images/a/a5/Ongo_y_Rita_11.png/revision/latest?cb=20140410021533&path-prefix=es seems to want to pair]] [[HugeGuyTinyGirl Ongo]] with [[PrecociousCrush Rita]].
* UglyCute: Goomo looks noticeably more goofy than the other kids, but he still manages to be very adorable.
* ViewerGenderConfusion: Due to his haircut, his gender-neutral clothing, and the fact that he's [[GracefulLadiesLikePurple purple]], a couple fans thought Ongo was a girl.
