1* FauxSymbolism: Sometimes strips seem to be written specifically to critique modern politics, such as the strips dealing with Arthur's interactions with Rome or the Saracens. Usually this prompts Gadzikowski to step in and say that it's from the source material and the appropriateness to modern times is totally incidental.
2* HilariousInHindsight: In a very early strip, the first sign of Lancelot's homophobia comes when Arthur mentions Bedivere and Kay are "very close" and then has to tell him it's not what he thinks (because Bedivere's female). Two retcons later, it ''is''.
