Angry Birds: Summer Madness is a cartoon that was first released on January 28th, 2022. It’s the first long form series in the ''Franchise/AngryBirds'' franchise.

It’s about the misadventures of [[TheLeader Red]], [[ActionGirl Stella]], [[TheBigGuy Bomb]] and [[TheKlutz Chuck]], as they spend the summer at Camp Splinterwood.

!!This show provides examples of:

* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul:
** In previous continuities, Red and Stella have been acquaintances, friends, and even had some ShipTease. Here, the two are best friends, having known each other since they were hatchlings.
** In this series, Bomb has a crush on Matilda.
* AdaptationalJerkass: In the games, Stella was a nice girl if not a bit hot-blooded like Red, but in the show she’s more of a jerk, and sometimes bullies her friends.
* ALighterShadeOfBlack: Neideflyer's sister, Robin. While she is just as stuck-up and antagonistic as her brother, she has lows she won't stoop to, and doesn't hesitate to help Stella save her friends in "Space Oddities".
* BespectacledCutie: Penley, a pig who was accidently sent to Camp Splinterwood. He wears glasses and is sweet and adorable.
* CanonForeigner: Neiderflyer, Robin, Lynette, Harold, and Penley.
* ChildHater: Lynette deeply dislikes the campers, even [[spoiler:creating the Pillow Fight Club just so she could watch them hit each other]].
* CompetitionFreak: Stella really takes games seriously. Red can also fall into this if he's competing against Stella.
* DemotedToExtra: Terence has very little to do in this series.
* FantasticSlur: In "Fly Like a Mighty Eagle", the Three (a group of eagle elders) refer to non-flying birds as "crashers".
* FlatCharacter: Neiderflyer's three underlings get very little in the way of characterization. They barely even speak.
* FrameUp: [[spoiler:In "Hollow-Weenie", Neiderflyer frames Red for destroying the camper's weenies, in hopes of getting him kicked out.]].
* FriendToAllChildren: Red has a fondness for the hatchlings, a trait taken from his [[WesternAnimation/TheAngryBirdsMovie movie counterpart]].
* GoneHorriblyRight: In "The Un-Chuckening", Stella trains Chuck to not get distracted by everything. This leads to him relocating to the top of a mountain, so nothing can possibly distract him.
* TheGrinch: [[spoiler:Lynette]] plays this role in "Pigmas", looking down on the eponymous holiday, and even shooting down Santa Pig's sled so they can take the presents and sell them online.
* HateSink: Neiderflyer is an utter {{Jerkass}} to everyone, with not a single redeeming trait seen so far.
* HeadPet: Harold is often seen perching on his wife Lynette's head.
* HeIsNotMyBoyfriend: In "Let's Bounce", Stella is ''not'' pleased when Robin mockingly refers to Red as one of her "boyfriends".
* HenpeckedHusband: Lynette, the camp director, treats her husband Harold like a servant.
* HiddenDepths:
** "Bird Ball" reveals that Harold was once a champion in the titular sport.
** "Hollow-Weenie" shows that Brenda the lunchlady is an amateur rock musician.
* {{Hypocrite}}:
** In "Fly Like a Mighty Eagle", one of the Three tells Mighty Eagle that "Money is an illusion, created by greed"... despite the fact that he'd lent money from Mighty Eagle, and won't pay him back.
** In "Pigmas", Neiderflyer tries to take advantage of the holiday to get gifts for himself. When Red points out that they're doing this for Penley, Neiderflyer complains that they're not thinking about ''him''.
* ImpossiblyDeliciousFood: The fishsticks Bomb finds in "Be Careful What You Fish For". Eating them makes all the campers excessively happy, even making Red and Neiderflyer put aside their rivalry and be friends.
* InSeriesNickname: Stella calls Neiderflyer "Neiderjerk".
* {{Irony}}: In "Camp Splintarrrwood", Harold's uncle Clive becomes a pirate, yet is ultimately revealed to not be able to swim.
* ItsAllAboutMe:
** Neiderflyer cares only for himself. In "Camp Splintarrrwood", he's all too quick to abandon the camp and join the pirates, claiming he has "a thing against being on the losing side".
** Lynette puts herself ahead of everything, only keeping the camp going so she can make money. And in "Fowl Weather", she kept making fake announcements of bad weather, so she could laze around outside while the campers stayed in doors.
* IWasQuiteALooker: In "Hollow-Weenie", Harold claims that Lynette was quite attractive in their youth.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Stella can sometimes be mean to her friends, but she always sticks by them.
* JerkWithAHeartOfJerk: Neiderflyer. Any time he offers to help, or suggests he has some FreudianExcuse for his actions, it is soon revealed to be a lie.
* LazyBum: Mighty Eagle is one of the camp counselors, but tends to lounge around and do very little.
* LethalChef: Brenda, the camp's lunchlady. No-one can stomach any of the food she prepares.
* LuminescentBlush: Red blushes in "Let's Bounce" when Robin compliments him (though he weakly claims to Stella it's just his usual red coloration).
* MaliciousMisnaming: Neiderflyer often refers to Red as "Rod".
* MythologyGag: In "Chuck-in-a-Box", Chuck hums the original ''Angry Birds'' theme.
* ObliviousToLove: Matilda is completely unaware of Bomb's crush on her.
* PunnyName: One of Robin's GirlPosse is named "Re''peck''a".
* RaceLift: In "Prematurely Balding Eagle", Stella mentions her "abuelito" (Spanish for "grandfather"), indicating that she has some Hispanic heritage (much like her voice actress, Gigi Saul Guerrero).
* RealAfterAll: [[spoiler:During "Hollow-Weenie", it is revealed that the titular monster is real.]]
* ShoutOut:
** Neiderflyer's name is a reference to Douglas C. Neidermeyer of ''Film/AnimalHouse'' fame.
** The title of "Chill Hard" references the ''Franchise/DieHard'' films.
** "Pillow Fight Club" is a parody of ''Film/FightClub''.
* SlobsVsSnobs: Red and his friends often clash with Neiderflyer and his sister Robin, who come from a rich family.
* StealthMentor: [[spoiler:Mighty Eagle in "Chill Hard". Stella asks him to teach her how to not let her competitiveness get the best of her. Mighty Eagle agrees, but simply lazes around does nothing. Stella becomes so annoyed by this that she angrily quits... which Mighty Eagle reveals he was trying to teach her all along.]]
* TinyGuyHugeGirl: Harold and Lynette; Harold is no bigger than Lynette's head.
* TheUnapologetic: Lynette in "Splinter-Camp Games". Red refuses to quit helping the pigs' team unless she apologizes for dismissing him from the tryouts without even giving him a chance. Lynnete literally can't even get the world "sorry" out of her beak, and decides [[HonorBeforeReason that it's not worth the effort]].
* UngratefulBastard:
** Even if Red and his friends help Neiderflyer, he still shows them no respect.
** After Red helps Lynette regain her credibility at the end of "Fowl Weather", she quickly starts insulting him over the camp speakers.
* WhatYouAreInTheDark: [[spoiler:In "Let's Bounce", Robin invites Red to the Bounce so she can give him the best night ever, then humiliate him in front of everyone. In spite of Stella's efforts to stop her, Robin's plan succeeds... but Robin is unable to go through with humiliating Red, instead letting him enjoy the moment.]]
* WouldHurtAChild: Neiderflyer. In the first episode alone, he steals chocolates meant for the hatchlings and puts them in [[TheDreaded Terence's]] cabin, well aware that Terence will attack anyone who goes near it.
