However, just before release, Glitter was infamously arrested on historical child porn charges. 13	** Music/EltonJohn's cameo was originally going to end with him walking away from them and saying to himself, "This never happened with Music/TakeThatBand".

In real life, the Spice Girls would fire their manager Simon Fuller shortly after the film released, citing over-work and over-exposure among their reasons. Considering Fuller would go on to similarly overwork Music/SClub7 (flying them back and forth between the UK and America constantly), it's hard to blame them.
