After they get home, [[ArmorPiercingResponse Blitz tells Loona that he did what he did because he was afraid of Loona moving out and going to live with Verosika,]] a fear she puts in the grave.

52	* StatingTheSimpleSolution: After hearing about how Edgar died, Linda points out that cats don't actually have nine lives and can't spend money, so he would've been allowed to manage Madame Adelaide's fortune while only spending a small amount to take care of Duchess and her kittens; heck, he could've even hired another butler to care for them. This causes Edgar to see that in trying to get rid of his boss's cats, [[AllForNothing he indignantly died a broke man.]]
