When Chris visits his grandfather, Carter (who has a broken leg) and shows him how to have fun while Babs is away, Carter decides to leave his vast fortune to Chris when he dies. Chris, however, doesn't want the money (as he just wants companionship) and Peter (who does want to make sure Carter's money goes to someone when he dies) pulls his sickest stunt yet to make sure the Pewterschmidt fortune is safe: marrying his own son.
----
!!Examples:
* AbusiveParents: Chris asks to spend time with Peter and the latter bluntly tells him he just wants him to leave.
-->'''Chris:''' But you promised we'd go fishing.\
'''Peter:''' Aw, Chris. [[KickTheDog I was just lying to you so you'd go away.]]
* AdultsDressedAsChildren: Peter dresses in Chris' clothes to get on his good side and get a better chance at Carter's money.
* BrotherSisterIncest: If all the ParentalIncest being thrown around wasn't enough, there's a scene that shows Chris and Meg take baths together, and the way Meg calls out to Chris implies that yes, they do more than just share the bath.
* DissonantSerenity: Peter is eerily calm when he realizes the kid he killed was deaf and was trying to communicate through sign language.
* DraggedOffToHell: Implied when Peter starts fading away after ripping up his birth certificate.
--> '''Peter''': Oh God, there’s no light! THERE’S ONLY FIRE!!!
* EurekaMoment: Parodied. When Joe and Quagmire mention to Peter that whoever married Chris, be it a girl or guy, will share his money, this give Peter an idea... a cat playing a tuba. That and marry his son.
* EveryoneHasStandards: Peter's legitimately disturbed at the implications of Meg and Chris bathing together.
-->'''Peter''': I...Uh...I don't-I don't know what to do now. I-I don't have the parenting skills necessary to deal with this.
-->'''Meg''': I say we never speak of this again.
--> '''Peter''': I...I might move.
* {{Hypocrite}}: Brian disapproves Peter not spending with his son, when Brian doesn't talk to his own son Dylan at all.
* KnewItAllAlong: Chris knew that Peter only wanted to marry him for his money, but he went along with it so he can spend quality time with him.
* LetUsNeverSpeakOfThisAgain: When Peter accidentally finds out that Chris and Meg take baths together:
-->'''Meg:''' I say we never speak of this again.
-->'''Peter:''' I... I might move.
* NothingIsFunnier: Everything to do with Peter's Hairless Twin. Why has Peter locked his twin in a shed? Why is said twin hairless, why does the moonlight "burn" him, and why does he particularly enjoy eggshells and coffee grounds? The episode never bothers to explain, because that makes the situation all the more ridiculous.
* ParentalIncest:
** To get a hold of Chris' fortune, Peter tries to ''marry'' Chris. It's one of many reasons why most critics ripped this episode apart. Granted, he seems more interested in the money itself than anything sexual with Chris, but considering there are few gags of Peter eyeing younger male teens and even prepubescent ''boys''...
** Before this, Chris teaches Carter about masturbation by giving him a hand job, of which Carter makes blatantly clear after the act. The act itself was thankfully off-screen.
* RealAfterAll: When Carter asks Brian to name a charity, he can only come up with "Poor...Green...Whale...Guns...Books?", to which Carter declares him a fraud. It turns out that such a charity ''does'' exist.
--> '''Green whale:''' ''(holding a gun and a book)'' Why won't anyone help us?
* ScrewTheMoneyIHaveRules: Chris doesn't accept the money Carter gives him after their bonding.
* ThinkOfTheCensors: When Carter slides his finger into Chris's elbow fold (which he says looks like a woman's privates), Carter says, "We're probably not supposed to be doing this," which, given this show, is probably what Creator/SethMacFarlane (or the other writers) have said.
* WouldHurtAChild: In an attempt to get on Chris’s good side, Peter killed a boy he thought was bullying Chris. It turns out it was a deaf kid and Peter shows no concern that he killed an innocent boy.
