2	* The Land of Darkness, [[DarkIsNotEvil at first]].
3	** Clicking the pot in Darkness' kitchen causes a chicken to pop out cheerily [[http://humongous.wikia.com/wiki/Darkness%27s_Kitchen#Chicken_in_a_Pot singing about how it's soon going to be someone's dinner]].
4	** There are also the countless ''sentient'' carrots being held captive in the refrigerator, for certain routes. If you talk to the refrigerator, he'll sing about how those carrots are all going to be used in a salad.
5	** The kitchen appliances all seem to be singing in a minor [[{{Scales}} key]], which gives the whole experience an unsettling feel.
6	** Trying to go down the dumbwaiter causes the stove to suddenly spew smoke out of its pipes, which may frighten young children the first time it happens.
7	* The trees, especially in the scene where they steal all of your stuff.
8	* Darkness. Although DarkIsNotEvil, just lonely, he still managed to traumatize many children.
9	* The plank of wood sinking after Sam and Otto look away from it. It made quite a few kids think that Otto would eventually sink too.
10	* The intro sequence when Pajama Sam enters the closet. He waves his flashlight around looking for Darkness, only to suddenly stumble and lose his balance. Then he starts plummeting down into a swirling vortex with a fearful scream, similar to the introduction of ''VideoGame/NightmareNed''.
11	* To a certain extent, the Gold Mine sequence. All the tracks look like a roller coaster that would put [[Ride/AltonTowers Alton Towers']] ''The Smiler'' to shame. Oh, and Pajama Sam's panicked screaming doesn't help things either.
12	* Collect all the socks in the game, and then click on the basket afterward. You will see a washing machine filled with water and soap, and it only gets more and more flooded with each click in an almost unsettling sequence... until it overflows.

14	[[AC: ''Thunder and Lightning Aren't So Frightening'']]
15	* The introductory sequence where a sudden blast of lightning scares Pajama Sam into hiding is honestly pretty scary, especially for a kid.
16	** Once Pajama Sam climbs up the ladder after finding his cape, he jumps up some clouds, when out of nowhere, a giant lightning bolt appears out of nowhere. It's almost as if Pajama Sam just got struck by lightning!
17	* World Wide Weather itself is located ''high up in the clouds'', with very few railings to prevent people from falling to their deaths. Anyone even remotely afraid of heights would have a hard time.
18	* Although still relatively tame, inside the greenhouse where Pajama Sam can create different weather patterns, creating tornadoes and hurricanes can be pretty spooky. But they border more on [[LightmareFuel Lightmare Fuel]] than anything else.

21	* The fact that the S.S.A.M. (Snacks and Sweets Aggressive Majority) at the beginning of the game gives a false sense of security that they seemed friendly at the party only to suddenly turn on Pajama Sam, yelling to throw him to jail just for mentioning that he didn't want to spoil his dinner.
