* Kage-Maru's infamous [[DeathFromAbove diving]] [[UseYourHead headbutt]]. [[InASingleBound Jump in the air]] and [[KickThemWhileTheyAreDown hit a downed opponent]]? Awesome. [[EpicFail Miss the opponent and go head-first into the ground?]] Absolutely priceless.
* It takes effort to pull off, but in ''Virtua Fighter 3'', it's possible to get struck by one of the subway trains in Sarah's stage. Easiest way is with Kage: Just as the round starts, ''immediately'' perform his standing back kick that turns him around (b,b+K) and run toward the edge of the ring. If you succeed, you'll run right into the train and have your entire life bar wiped out save for one single hit point.
* Due to the unique nature of the stages in ''Virtua Fighter 3'', it's not uncommon to find people who win by RingOut to jump out of the ring just to have it reflected on the victory screen (running off the edge of a building, into the water, etc.), as opposed to their victory pose.
* One of the {{Easter Egg}}s in ''Virtua Fighter 3'' has Pai performing Akira's victory pose.
* Another EasterEgg in ''Virtua Fighter 3'': By winning a perfect match with Kage and Jacky and inputting a code, their victory pose will be replaced with them doing a peace/victory sign [[ItMakesJustAsMuchSenseInContext as a metal pan falls on their head]] with no reaction to it.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZNIXEv5UJw Many of the special win poses]] in ''Final Showdown'' can be hilariously silly.
* In one of the arcade intros for ''5'', we see Lion [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnwuyHMhigs#t=25s sneaking up on Jeffry from behind and kicking him in the butt, knocking him down and making Jeffry throw a tantrum.]] The intro for a later arcade version has [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCJU48EWhLA#t=6s Lion attempting this on Wolf.]] [[CrossCounter It does not work out so well.]]
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6CI3VvdXi4 The intro to arcade ver. C]] of ''5'' showcases all of the fighters posing and demonstrating their talents in turn. It's the usual fare for most characters, but then you get to Brad dancing, Aoi taking a not-so-graceful tumble, El Blaze [[CameraAbuse leaping into the screen and shattering the glass]], Kage-Maru attempting his usual diving headbutt only to crash-land...
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnwuyHMhigs#t=39s Brad just stands by and watches]] as Aoi and Vanessa have what appears to be a DesignatedGirlFight.
* Taka-Arashi's continue screen in ''Final Showdown''. He'll actually plead and beg for [[BreakingTheFourthWall the player to continue]] during the countdown.

* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xVgX0oEWnU The narrator's explanations of the combat moves]] [[ChewingTheScenery can be pretty over the top]].
* When Jacky is stuck in jail, Akira and Pai have to think of a way to get money to bail him out. Akira says Pai will have to use her body, to be willing to get on her hands and knees and get dirty. Pai is naturally horrified, and then we cut to them working in construction, and Pai asks is this is really what Akira meant.
* Jacky and Pai are arguing with Akira over who they think kidnapped Sarah. Akira thinks for a moment before blurting out the name of their TeamPet flying squirrel Alexander in a serious tone.
* In the English dub, when Jacky gets a hold of some nunchakus, he recites Akira's InTheNameOfTheMoon speech but [[MotorMouth says it extremely quickly]] to sync with his lips.
* Jacky attempts to be deep and contemplative, until Akira says something stupid and ruins his "moment."
* During a preview for the next episode, Jacky and Pai are lamenting Akira's supposed death during their narration, but Akira keeps interrupting and tells them he's okay. They both tell him to shut up because [[BreakingTheFourthWall they aren't supposed to know that yet]].
* When Akira later comes and breaks them out of jail, realizing he's still alive, Pai prepares herself to give Akira a huge glomp the moment he opens her cell door. Once it opens, she leaps at him with her arms open, calls his name, and [[MoodWhiplash lands on the floor]]. Akira's already over at Jacky's cell breaking him free, and wonders what Pai's doing. He gets a slap for his obliviousness.
* In Hong Kong, Jacky hijacks an unattended speedboat so Akira, Sarah, and him can get way from some thugs. The English dub [[{{Woolseyism}} added this great line]]:
-->'''Yan:''' "I can't believe this! Who left the keys in that boat!? Oh never mind, just capture them!"
* Following Wolf's victory over Nio, Lion reminds him just how much he struggled against her, causing the otherwise stoic wrestler to blow his lid and chase him throughout the restaurant. Worse, Lion has no idea what he said to make him so angry.
* After Akira frees Jeffry's family from Oni-maru, Jeffry forgives Lion and Pai for being tricked into fighting him. Because he was also tricked into fighting them, his wife punches him in the back of the head and demands he apologize to them, which he sheepishly does.
