* After the opening credits, Hana stops right at a crosswalk to yell back at Gin. Immediately behind her, a couple gets plowed by a car. The resulting crash and scream garners no attention, as Hana goes to cross the street as normal. Even Miyuki and Gin, who would have seen it, make no comment. It really sets the tone for the film's ContrivedCoincidence BlackComedy.
* The chase scene where Gin and Hana are trying to run after the assassin's car, on foot.
* While resting at a cafe, Gin and Hana get confronted by a belligerent drunk. It looks like Gin is about to get in a fistfight with the drunk on the streets, with Hana and the cafe owner trying to stop them, when an ambulance crashes right through the storefront. While everyone is stunned, the ambulance driver climbs out and asks someone to call an ambulance. The owner scrambles off to do just that while the drunk wanders off still shocked.
* The scene where Gin is dressed up, against his will, in a PimpedOutDress after being rescued by drag queens.
* The astounded expression of the soup kitchen lady after seeing Hana with baby Kiyoko.
--> "He really was eating for two!"
* Hana trying to cheer everybody up by belting out "Climb Every Mountain" from Theatre/TheSoundOfMusic.
* While Hana collapses in exhaustion and dramatically bemoans her impending death, Miyuki brings attention to a cemetery nearby (with offerings to take.)
-->Hana: I'm not dead yet!
* When Hana attacked that man who insulted her in her flashback.
* A drag queen at the bar's reaction when Hana's 'mother' exclaims "Abandoned!" regarding Kiyoko.
--> "Yes! I've been abandoned!" (sobbing)
* In the abandoned building filled with adorable kitties, when Gin jokes about eating them, the cats all understand and surround infuriated cat-lover Miyuki for protection, snarling and meowing angrily at Gin.
* Hana and Miyuki's faces when they momentarily think Gin has died are funny in a BlackComedy sort of way.
* As horrific as the scene where Gin is beaten half to death by hoodlums is, it contains a very funny gag. Watch the lights in the windows above him and his assailant; the row above Gin goes out sequentially as he is battered, while the row above the attacker stays lit. The two of them have literal life bars above them, as if they are characters in a FightingGame.
* After recovering from being beaten up Gin thinks he sees a beautiful angel (really a woman dressed as one) she asks if he wants her assistance, or an ambulance. Gin's response?
-->Gin: An ambulance, if you please.\
Angel: (hands on hips, annoyed) You're so rude!
* Gin thinking an old man died, then trying to close his eyes, only for them to open wider.
* Hana flirting with the cab driver, much to his discomfort.
-->Hana: Don't be silly! I like my men to be more "manly." The kind of man I like is slender, middle-aged, tanned, with a divine square-back haircut and a lower-town accent. Who says, "Ah, what the hell"...when I don't quite have the cab fare.
* Speaking of the taxi driver, he becomes something of a RunningGag. First, he ends up unknowingly facilitating the assassin's kidnapping of Miyuki, only learning of the associated gang drama after the fact. Then he has to deal with Hana's antics, as described above. The cherry on top is the climax, where he gets roped into rescuing the baby, culminating in him crashing off-screen during the chase. His reaction running into Hana a second time really sells it.
* After finding a fellow homeless man dying in the cold, Gin takes him back to his tent home and warms him up with some liquor. The old man's response?
-->Old Man: I always wanted to die drunk in a big, warm house. Thanks to you, I'm halfway there.
* After the assassin kidnaps Miyuki and talks to her in Spanish, she awkwardly tries to communicate in English.
