Not wanting to see her grandfather hurt himself, she jumps out and declares she will cut off her finger and proceeds to start. Both men are shocked and her grandfather tells her to stop. Kumiko answers that her grandfather is old and his finger won't grow back. Her grandfather points out neither will her finger. This breaks her confident persona and she starts to freak out as the blade is already in her hand. The fellow yakuza laughs at this innocence and spunk in this girl, tells her grandfather the debt is paid and permits him to take Kumiko to the hospital. |
