!! Contains examples of…
* ABirthdayNotABreak: Yu’s final battle took place on his birthday.
* AdaptationalJerkass: Toranosuke Yoshida, this is a side effect of being combined with J. Jonah Jameson.
* AdaptationalJobChange: Several.
** Kobayakawa instead of being the school principal is a mob boss, or rather the Mob Boss.
** In response Mr. Ushimaru is the principal instead of the school counselor.
** Sae Nijima instead of being a police detective is a security guard at Shido Science.
** Speaking of Shido instead of being a politician is the CEO of Shido Science.
** Downplayed with Iwai, while he appears to still run his military surplus store, he also works for the Kingpin as the Tinkerer.
** Instead of being a politician, Yoshida runs a newspaper.
** Justified with Rise. Due to growing out of her TeenIdol image, she’s now an actress.
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: Madarame, while still a villain, considerably more noble intentioned than in canon: working as the Vulture in order to care for his protégés.
* AdaptationalSpeciesChange: Morgana and Teddie in the games were a magical talking cat and a sentient mascot costume, here they're both human (although that doesn't stop Teddie from making his bear puns).
* AdaptationalVillainy: Minato Arisato, who in this universe is .
* ArbitrarySkepticism:
** Spider-Man, Tombstone and a giant lava monster? Totally believable. Mysterio being an actual sorcerer? Nonsense. Granted, Ann does get proven to be correct in this case.
** The police investigating : Spider-Man, Electro, Ms. Negative? Perfectly normal. The killer using a suit that lets him shape shift? The witness must have hysteria.
* AscendedExtra: Yohei Kiritani, in the game proper he was a minor boss in Mementos, here he's the Molten Man and the secondary villain of the Tombstone arc.
* BetaOutfit: Ren makes his official debut as Spider-Man in a hoodie over street clothes, a costume store Spider-Man mask, a pair of red gloves and a, surprisingly high quality, pair of red shoes.
** And before that he fought Electro in his street clothes and a discarded surgical mask.
* TheCommissionerGordon: Naoto Shirogane.
* CompositeCharacter: The nature of the fanfic means that a number of Persona characters are given qualities of Spider-Man Characters:
** Yu Narukami is mixed with Peter Parker.
** Ren Amamiya is mixed with Miles Morales.
** Kamoshida becomes Electro.
** Madarame is the Vulture. Specifically, his description and motivations are derived from the MCU version of the character.
** Rise borrows form the Mary Jane of Miles' world from Into The Spider-Verse.
** Kaneshiro is Tombstone.
** Kobayakawa is the Kingpin.
** Munehise Iwai is the Tinkerer.
** Adachi is the Green Goblin, or at least a Goblin and his description invokes the Goblin seen towards the beginning of Into The Spider-Verse.
** While Adachi is the heir apparent Goblin, Masayoshi Shido is taking cues from Norman Osborn.
** Sho Minazuki is Scorpion.
** Toranosuke Yoshida runs a newspaper and has a negative opinion of Spider-Man like J. Jonah Jameson.
** Naoto Shirogane acts as an ally to Ren on the police force similar to Yuri Watanabe.
** Goro Akechi .
** The Venom Symbiote combines elements of the Ultimate and 2018 versions of the character, being an artificial organism and lacking Spider-Man's powers.
** is Mysterio.
*** In addition, this Mysterio poses as a wizard preaching Luddite rhetoric like the version from Spectacular Spider-Man, while his illusions are created through holograms and weaponized drones like the MCU version of the character.
** Mitsuru Kirijo is Black Cat.
** Takuto Maruki is The Lizard.
** is Silk, with her costume bearing more of a resemblance to Spider-Gwen’s.
** becomes Agent Venom. , meanwhile, ends up becoming Carnage.
* DisabledInTheAdaptation:
** Maruki is missing an arm.
** Madarame lost both of his legs in a car crash before the story began.
* EyeScream: Kaneshiro suffers this at the Claws of Black Cat.
* Foreshadowing:
** When Takuto Maruki is introduced, attention is drawn to his missing arm.
** After Spider-Man and Electro's second battle Kamoshida's equipment spontaneously combusts. Forensics places the blame on faulty wiring, an odd oversight on someone like the Tinkerer's part.
* FalseFlagOperation: In classic Mysterio fashion his scheme revolves around EngineeredHeroics. .
* HaremGenre: Though it takes over fifty chapters to get anywhere beyond ShipTease.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: A metal pipe through the lung is ultimately what does Yu in.
* IHaveYourWife: The Kingpin has been forcing the Tinkerer to work for him by holding his son hostage.
* LovesMyAlterEgo: Kasumi despises Ren, and tries to keep Sumire away from him as much as possible. She later ends up developing a crush on Spider-Man. Ren actually considers it funny.
* MythologyGag: Plenty of references to past Spider-Man media.
** Yu's Spidersuit is described as having a white spider on the chest like the Advanced Suit in VideoGame/SpiderManPS4
** The Circumstances of Yu's Death are similar to those of Peter Parker's Death in WesternAnimation/SpiderManIntoTheSpiderVerse.
** In addition Yu's vigil is based on the one for Peter in the same movie.
** During his first fight with Electro, the following exchange paraphrases a line of dialogue from WesternAnimation/SpiderManTheAnimatedSeries:
--> Kamoshida: Come down here and fight like a man\
Ren: Why don't you come up here and fight like a spider?
** Yoshida is introduced in the same way as J. Jonah Jameson in Film/SpiderMan1
** When Kaneshiro (aka. Tombstone) is broken out of prison one of his goons refers to him as "Big Man" a reference to the characters additional alias in WesternAnimation/TheSpectacularSpiderMan.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero:
** Kamoshida was deep fried by his own suit thanks to Iwai's sabotage, but a cut away to him in his cell indicates that he might not need the suit anymore.
** When Black Cat and a scientist at Okumura Enterprises shut down the Molten Man's containment field in an attempt put the creature out of his misery only for part of him to escape and turn into a giant monster.
* NoBiochemicalBarriers: Subverted, after examining Ren's blood, Takemi determines that he's become too mutated to receive a blood transfusion, and later too mutated to have kids.
* RelatedInTheAdaptation: is Futaba's biological father.
** Minato Arisato is Ren's uncle.
** Akihiko and Minako are Makoto and Sae’s parents.
* ShoutOut: Haru’s maid is named Kirumi.
* SpannerInTheWorks: Iwai is revealed to be this within the Kingpin's operation, sabotaging the equipment he makes for the super villains who come to his workshop.
* SparedByTheAdaptation: Wakaba Isshiki, she's still mostly absent from Futaba's life because .
** Kasumi Yoshizawa is also alive and well in this story.
