Here is a list of characters from New Equus, the LostColony world where Sunny Starscout and her friends, the 'Unifying Five', have their adventures in the Fifth Age. Originating from a population of Equusians which had become stranded there during the 'Second Void Aeon' that marked the end of the Fourth Age, they had all but forgotten their actual heritage and are convinced that they are on Equus itself, with the Three Tribes there believing they themselves are living in the lands of old Equestria. Having recently been rediscovered by an exploration starjammer of the Interstellar Federation of Friendship, New Equus is now being watched with keen eyes which had now been drawn to this world and its star system over the return of magic and other secrets laid buried there...\

[[folder:General]]
* DramaticIrony: Both in-universe and out-, everybody except the New Equusians themselves know that they are not, in fact, denizens living on Equus itself, but are descendants of those who colonised the world earlier and had forgotten the truth.
* FantasticRacism: The situation on New Equus is that with the loss of magic, as well as the prolific spreading of ignorance and misinformation, the three main Pony tribes have become racist towards one another and split off to live in separate communities, as was done in the original Equus during the 'Three Tribes Era'. Fortunately, the formation and efforts of the Unifying Five present a glimmer of hope that this can be averted.
* ForegoneConclusion: Many outside of New Equus and observing events there [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4945555746 expected]] the eventual rediscovered of their past, the unification of the Pony Tribes on New Equus in spite of their inter-tribe distrust and prejudices and the rediscovery of their magic to be a matter of historical certainty due to various factors both within and beyond Ponies' control, from increasing interactions between the growing civilizations and advancing societies to increasing numbers of Ponies like Argyle, Sunny Starscout and Princess Zipp Storm discovering evidence of their past. All that is left to determine is when exactly and how it would play out, and this was where they were taken by surprise as the last Pony they expected to pull it off was Sunny Starscout.
--> '''IFS Science Officer:''' All of our calculations and predictions had been upended by unexpected actions of individuals and uncontrollable forces of nature... but the same could be said of much of history.\
'''IFS Captain:''' Quite so, but as you said before, some trends are inevitable, and the fact Ms. Starscout and her friends were able to bring back magic and friendship to their part of the world despite these changes suggests perhaps sooner or later some things are bound to happen, due to factors set in motion long before they are born. All that has changed is when they occur, under what circumstances, and the specific details involved.
* HistoryRepeats:
** Like with the Second Great War in the Second Age and the Three Tribes in the Fourth Age, ignorance, deceit, mistrust and prejudices between peoples drove entire nations to conflict on New Equus, as Princess Amicitia herself [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4951147369 somberly noted]].
---> '''Princess Amicitia:''' The situation on New Equus is a prime example of the dangers of ignorance and misinformation. In a well-informed society, Sprout's regime would've never been able to rise because he would, rightfully, have been seen as an idiot. But due to the ignorance of the population on the other two tribes and the misinformation being peddled broadly, rather out of malice or out of ignorance and fear, all it took was a little spark to turn things into a firestorm of hatred were even a bigoted idiot like Sprout could take control. It's sad... but [[NotSoDifferentRemark we were not so different long ago]], were we?
** On a more positive side, just as Twilight and her friends activated the Elements of Harmony and saved Equestria with ThePowerOfFriendship, Sunny Starscout and her friends brought back magic and unity to the Three Tribes on New Equus through the three Pony Crystals with ThePowerOfFriendship, showing ultimately that Ponies and other beings can still overcome their differences and darker natures to become much better than they could, whether as one or together.
* InsignificantBluePlanet:
** In contrast to canon, by virtue of being a LostColony world populated by Equusians in the Fifth Age who forgot their heritage and believe themselves to be on Equus (not helped by the fact the planet had been terraformed and built-up during the interstellar eras of the Fourth Age to look like Equus for tourism), it's mentioned in the Fifth Age entries and Drabbles thus far that the world where Sunny Starscout and her friends' stories are taking place is considered an insignificant backwater system in a peripheral recently-reclaimed star sector, and the things happening there are being drowned out by wider events occurring across the wider colonized galaxy with its tens of millions of inhabited and colonized worlds. Of course, it's getting subverted as recent developments are starting to drag the attention of others towards it, starting with the Interstellar Federation of Friendship (which Fifth Age Equestria is a member state of) establishing a research and exploration outpost around New Equus' moon.
** Also downplayed somewhat by the fact Mistletoe Dreamer and the Dark Ages Alliance's TimeCrash endgame pulled Sunny's group backwards in time and they proved vitally important in stopping it. Twilight was aware they would likely exist someday (though time is still decidedly in flux), though was surprised as to ''where''.
* TheMagicGoesAway: Similarly to the original Equus' 'Second Age' of Known History, New Equus suffers from a severe depletion of magic, with the three main Pony tribes being unable to perform their tribal magics. While the Earth Ponies and Pegasi have managed to get by without theirs, the Unicorns were hit the hardest, as magic was the only thing they could do.
[[/folder]]

!'Equestria'
!!The Unifying Five
[[folder:General]]
* EmpoweredBadassNormal: Hitch and Zipp were the most obvious examples of this as they are the two most athletic and most daredevil of the five (to the point where they helped stop a Humongous Mecha before magic returned), but all five of them got this to some degree as they worked to reunify the earth ponies, unicorns and pegasi and all of them got at least triple strength versions of the awakened abilities of their tribe when magic returned.
* FireForgedFriends: All of them had some prejudices to work through (though Sunny and Zipp had the fewest, even they believed a few of the less nasty stereotypes) before learning to trust each other and work as a team, becoming real friends in the process.
* HeroicLineage: All of them are at least strongly believed to be some of the descendants of the Council of Friendship/Guardians of Harmony.
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: Their attempt to retrieve the pegasus crystal exposes the royal family as charlatans, brings their legitimacy as rulers into question, and completely destroys the political stability of Zephyr Heights.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Sunny Starscout]]
----
* AllYourPowersCombined: In her Super Mode, she has the combined magical potential of unicorns and pegasi in addition to her native earth pony.
* AlliterativeName: As in canon, '''S'''unny '''S'''tarscout.
* {{Determinator}}: She never gave up on her father's dream to reunify Ponykind and bring back magic to all the Pony Tribes, and this helped her (along with her friends and a train-load of ContrivedCoincidence) actually bring it about.
* FlyingBrick+FlyingFirepower: Only when she has activated her Super Mode.
* HeroWorshipper: She ''adores'' Princess Twilight/Amicitia Sparkle and sees her as her hero. When she finally meets her in-person during Mistletoe Dreamer's TimeCrash, she [[FaintInShock fainted in sheer excitement]].
* HourOfPower: She only has her hard-light magic wings and horn temporarily when she mentally activates her Super Mode (and, even then, they only last long enough to get in practice or handle an emergency). Otherwise, she has only her Earth pony magic.
* InSpiteOfANail: It is noted by a [=FoF=] Science officer that, even if Izzy hadn't discovered her message, she would have eventually meet Zip and helped her reunite the Pony tribes regardless.
* {{Squee}}: Sunny Starscout [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4946496643 fainted]] in sheer excitement when she along with her friends were sent thousands of years into the past and thousands of light-years to Equus thanks to the TimeCrash endgame of the Dark Ages Alliance, where they get to meet her idol Princess Twilight/Amicitia.
--> '''Sunny Starscout:''' Y-You're... You're... Princess Twilight?!\
'''Princess Twilight/Amicitia:''' Uh... hello... And you are?
* SuperMode: Her hard light magic wings and horn (sometimes referred to as her "training wheels alicorn" form) are this.
* TheUnchosenOne: [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4945555746 According]] to an Interstellar Federation of Friendship science officer, nearly everyone in the research outpost and back in the Federation proper believed the odds were simply too much against Sunny Starscout (They literally calculated her chances to be less than 0.000001%) for her to succeed in overcoming the prejudices of the Three Tribes on New Equus and reunite their people, and hedged their bets on crown-princess ''Zipp Storm'' being the one to do it instead out of the five-pony band. That Sunny Starscout actually succeeded took everybody by surprise.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Princess Zephyrina/Zipp Storm]]
The Crown-Princess of the Pegasus kingdom, Zephyr Heights, and twin sister of Princess Pipp Petals.
----
* AcademicAthlete: The BigGuy among the trio but also the smartest, with her smarts being much more apparent in the Codexverse between [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4962744150 trying]] to build a WeatherControlMachine as well as quickly [[AwesomenessByAnalysis analysisng]] the possible strengths, weaknesses and capabilities New Equus supervillain Doctor Gigantor they were facing has within seconds of being confronted by him.
* AwesomenessByAnalysis: Has this as a strength due to her smarts, as [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4965920023 demonstrated]] when she quickly worked out the possible strengths, weaknesses and capabilities New Equus supervillain Doctor Gigantor has within ''seconds'' of meeting him for the first time (chronologically) during the climatic Ages-spanning TimeCrash 'Dark Age Crisis':
--> '''Dr. Gigantor:''' Payback time, pests!\
'''Sunny Starscout:''' Do we know you?\
'''Dr. Gigantor:''' Oh right. You probably haven't met me yet. Even better, then! After all, I know how YOU fight, but you don't know how I do!\
'''Zipp Storm:''' Considering you're a cyborg, it's a pretty reasonable guess that you have super-strength and super-toughness at minimum and the fact that you have the ability to increase your size indicates that your cybernetics probably have many more built-in unpleasant surprises.\
'''Dr. Gigantor:''' ... Huh, check out the big brain on the Princess.
* BlowYouAway: She has at least learned enough wind magic to be able to fly around a small group fast enough to trap them in a mini-tornado, as shown when she and Izzy saved a family from a lynch mob in Pledge Falls.
* TheChosenOne: Less prophecy but more on the basis of probability, many believed [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4945555746 with reasonable grounds]] that she would have had the best shot at succeeding in unifying the Pony Tribes and other races of New Equus due to her already being very intelligent and cunning, managed to find out much about Ponykind's unified past by herself, and was in imminent accession to a position of authority which would give her the resources and influence to do it years later. That Sunny Starscout managed to do it years earlier despite her incredibly low odds of success (less than 0.000001% by Interstellar Federation of Friendship scientists' calculations) took everybody by surprise.
* OhCrap: Zipp Storm was immediately apprehensive when the Unifying Five ran into General Morning Glory of the Zephyr Heights Royal Army (Legion Group North) just as they were about to escape Zephyr Heights, since unlike most Ponies and obstacles they have to get past thus far, General Morning Glory is a legitimately dangerous and capable FourStarBadass FrontlineGeneral who could (and almost did) hoof them their flanks.
* WeatherControlMachine: [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4962744150 Tries]] to build one after magic returns based on ancient technological lore and newly-rediscovered Pegasi weather magic since as she noted due to how long Pegasi had been without them they had yet to relearnt how to manipulate the weather, and so needed something like this to handle WeatherManipulation until their knowledge and skills are once more up to the task.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Princess Pipp Petals]]
The Princess of the Pegasus kingdom, Zephyr Heights, and twin sister of Princess Zephyrina Storm.
----
* AlliterativeName: As in canon, both title and name: '''P'''rincess '''P'''ipp '''P'''etals.
* {{Hammerspace}}: It turns out that, to Diamond Mantle's surprise, her canon ability to store her Screenphone within her wings is of this effect. Golden Scepter notes the similarities between her mutation and Pinkie/Thalia's ability to store things in her hair, and expresses interest in spreading it to the rest of Pegasuskind. Sunny Starscout [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4946513620 cited]] this as one example of how the Three Tribes' magic on New Equus isn't entirely gone, merely diminished to negligible levels.
* {{Mutants}}: Diamond Mantle, Platinum Crown, and Golden Scepter observed via reports that [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4946160302 she has developed a mutation where she could store things in her wings and still fly]], akin to a BagOfHolding spell. Notably, no one except her has the mutation, meaning it's unique to her or at least incredibly rare, and even Diamond Mantle (the parental deity of Pegasuskind) expresses surprise that she, a Pegasus, even has it at all since he doesn't recall giving them that ability during the uplifting process Ages ago. Golden Scepter notes her mutation is similar to Pinkie Pie/Princess Thalia's abilities and expresses interest in helping spread it to the rest of Pegasuskind.
* SpoiledSweet: After growing out of her haughtiness, Pipp is a sweet princess who proves to be a nice and loyal friend to the rest of the Mane Five.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Izzy Moonbow]]
* AchievementsInIgnorance: It is [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4945555746 noted]] by Starry Search that Izzy discovering Sunny's message at all is a [[BeyondTheImpossible statistical improbability]].
* BlindedByTheLight: She used her horn glow to blind a group of racists that tried to kill her and Zipp.
* BlueIsHeroic: Her mane and tail are electric blue and she is one of New Equus's main heroes.
* CombatPragmatist: While she usually tries to avoid fights, when she does fight, she isn't adverse to using a quick blinding flash and some Mind Over Matter to bring a quick end to the fight.
* MindOverMatter: Strong enough to lift a trolley car in fact.
* MySignificanceSenseIsTingling: Sunny Starscout [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4946513620 noted]] that Izzy seemed to have a 'Sixth Sense' which allows her to show up at the right time and place to meet up with Sunny at Maretime Bay. This is cited by her as one example of how perhaps the magic of the Three Tribes on New Equus isn't entirely gone like they thought until they brought it back, merely diminished to negligible levels.
* PurpleIsPowerful: She has a light purple coat and her magic is three times stronger than that of most other awakened unicorns.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Hitch Trailblazer]]
The sheriff of Maretime Bay.
----
* ClosetGeek: Is a fan of Mare-Do-Well (whose legends survived well into the Fifth Age across Equus-colonized parts of the galaxy) and the televisor programs made about her, and [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4950455378 dressed up]] like her for one 'Night-Mare Night' festival.
* ToBeLawfulOrGood: Hitch firmly chose good when he [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4945612910 stood his ground]] against a BigotWithABadge in the another town who were part of the 'Hoof Bux Klan', after his friends Zipp Storm and Izzy Moonbow rescued an Earthpony mare from a lynch mob there for giving birth to a Pegasus and a Unicorn foals only to get in trouble with the racist Earthpony local sheriff when they try to report the crime. The town may be out of his jurisdiction, but a crime is still a crime and he is going to do something about it like a good sheriff should.
--> '''Sheriff Hitch:''' What you call sense, Sheriff Ironhoof, is just pure and simple bigotry... while I might have been fine with capturing and driving out unicorns and Pegasi before I had my eyes opened, I would NOT have approved a lynch mob (even if, unfortunately, my own deputy did). And, by the way Zipp is also royalty (even if she didn't try to invoke it in the fight with your deputies and the mob they riled), which means, while your town might be out of my jurisdiction, you're still in quite a bit of trouble.
* TheOneGuy: He is the only stallion in the Unifying Five. All of the other four members are female.
[[/folder]]

!!Maretime Bay
[[folder:General]]
* CrapolaTech: [=CanterLogic=]'s protection gear has obviously never been field tested. For one, most of it is for protection from things the earth ponies ''think'' the unicorns and pegasi can do, not for things they can actually do. The first time any of it is used in a real "invasion" — that is, Izzy just walking casually into town — the safety tech either does nothing at all or backfires on the citizens. This contrasts with the pegasi having tech analogous to the real world — cell phones, biometric scanners, etc. — that works precisely as it's supposed to.
* FantasticRacism: Lingers in a fashion even after magic returns, having merely changed forms as [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4950700989 noted]] by a pair of envious Earthponies who had followed Sprout's descent into a dictator.
* HumongousMecha: The 'Sprouticus Maximus' (rename pending), which had been rebuilt and repurposed as Maretime Bay's trump-card town defence system after the sorry episode of the 'Sprout Regime'. It had been upgraded to remedy its previous shortcomings, from improved Splatterpult system with better accuracy and an additional 'Rocket Volley Launcher' which could unleash a small MacrossMissileMassacre, to even an additional anti-boarding protection system which uses electric jolt to shock anyone which attempts a ColossusClimb against it. General Morning Glory of Zephyr Heights [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4988195778 still]] manages to beat it in two separate field-testing/sparring-sessions, but it is certainly improving in the right directions.
* TookALevelInBadass: Of all things, the rebuilt '[[HumongousMecha Sprouticus Maximus]]' robot, which has been upgraded to remedy its flawed design and shortcomings as it is repurposed as Maretime Bay's trump-card town defence weapons system. Its modified form ''[[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4988195778 still]]'' got its shiny metal flanks hoofed to it by General Morning Glory of the Zephyr Heights Royal Army, but it's a significant improvement than the original prototype.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Argyle Starshine]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Doctor Gigantor]]
A disgruntled Canter-Logic employee turned SuperVillain, Doctor Gigantor (First mentioned [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4965043160 here]] and [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4965920023 here]]) schtick is making things big or using big weapons and machines to do all manners of villainous things.
----
* {{Cyborg}}: He is noted to have become one at some point.
* GoingPostal: He was a disgruntled Canter-Logic employee who became a SuperVillain.
* HumongousMecha: Carrying on with his preference for making things oversized, he arms himself up with a giant robot on top of making things big with his growth ray.
* {{Sizeshifter}}: Invented a device which can change the size of living beings and non-living objects.
* SuperVillain: He became one roughly three years after the return of magic on New Equus.
* TimeyWimeyBall: As a result of the TimeCrash caused by Mistletoe Dreamer in the Fourth Age (at the climax of the Dark Ages Crisis), he encountered the Unifying Five in a time when they had not met him yet, but he already had several run-ins with them. Realising this, he took the opportunity to try and preemptively deal with them before they could threaten his plans, with him having a massive advantage in having better gear and experience fighting them than in their first (chronological) encounter while the Unifying Five didn't even know who he is (yet).
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Phyllis Cloverleaf]]
Mother of Sprout Cloverleaf and proprietor of [=CanterLogic=], after seeing the folly of her Tribalistic racism and bad business practices she is attempting to turn a new leaf, so far with mixed success.
----
* CorruptCorporateExecutive: Used to be this and is trying to move past it. She still has a long way to go however.
* GoneHorriblyRight: Her attempts to do things which are right in her eyes have a tendency of backfiring in a manner which is technically what she wanted, but goes a little bit too far even for her taste.
** When her son Sprout was feeling down and depressed over the whole '[[TyrantTakesTheHelm Sprout]] [[TheDictatorship Regime]]' episode, she [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4952646750 attempted]] to make him feel better by using an [[GettingSmiliesPaintedOnYourSoul experimental mood-improving drug]] her company's R&D division was working on, with Sprout being the official first Pony test subject. It actually worked ''[[GoneHorriblyRight too]]'' well, improving Sprout's mood to the point he briefly became a super-confident smack-talking LargeHam.
--> '''Hitch Trailblazer:''' Ma'am, WHY is Sprout acting like this?
--> '''Phyllis Cloverleaf:''' Well, I was worried about my baby feeling so down and demotivated after that whole sorry episode with the takeover and the robot, so I sort of asked my employees for a solution. One of my teams in the R&D division healthcare product branch was developing a new mood-improvement medicine which was supposed to make people more happy and confident...
--> '''Hitch Trailblazer:''' ... You put out another product without proper testing AGAIN?
--> '''Phyllis Cloverleaf:''' Well, no! It IS currently undergoing proper Pony test trials. You're looking at our first test subject now. My baby volunteered, for the record.
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: Her parroting of the racist rhetoric that permeates Maritime Bay towards her son turns him into a power-mad dictator.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: Was this for all her faults, and while even more well-intentioned now after moving past her racism she still have vibes of this, using some mildly questionable means to solve problems
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Sprout Cloverleaf]]
----
* BewareTheSillyOnes: He's a cowardly, bigoted idiot, but because the world he lives in is deeply entrenched with ignorance, misinformation, and tribal prejudices, he still got a chance to become much more dangerous in spite of his failings, something Princess Amicitia herself [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4951147369 pointed out]].
* BreadEggsMilkSquick: Sprout Cloverleaf - son of CEO Phyllis Cloverleaf, deputy sheriff of Maretime Bay, former [[TyrantTakesTheHelm rabblerousing dictator]].
* TheDictatorship: During the events of the G5 movie, being made temporary sheriff of Maretime Bay and being encouraged by his mother to take charge led to Sprout - normally a cowardly bigoted idiot - becoming a rabblerousing dictator as the power quickly goes to his head, declaring himself 'Emperor' of Maretime Bay, making anti-Unicorn/Pegasi laws like the '[[DystopianEdict Sprout Act]]' and having a giant robot built with the intent to make war on the other two Pony tribes nearby.
* GettingSmiliesPaintedOnYourSoul: PlayedForLaughs. Feeling down and demotivated over the whole sorry episode where he took over the town and went on a rampage with a giant robot, his mother tried to help him by giving him an experimental mood-improvement medication developed by her company [[IncompetenceInc Canterlogic]]'s R&D division, hoping it would make him feel better and more confident (For once it's actually undergoing proper Pony subject test trials. Sprout just happens to be the first volunteer test subject). It [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4952646750 worked]]... [[GoneHorriblyRight to an extent]].
--> '''Sprout Cloverleaf:''' [[LargeHam GREETINGS]], You little ''SNOTS!''\
'''Sunny Starscout:''' ... [[CaptainObvious You're on drugs]].\
'''Sprout Cloverleaf:''' Oh, but I AM! Disappointed ~ ? Did you EXPECT me to stay the same FOREVER?! 'Cause that's not what drugs does, BABY!
* GogglesDoNothing: Defied. Even when he was [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4952648115 smashing]] Hitch's new cart in a moment of mood medication-induced rage, he still wears goggles to protect his eyes.
--> '''Hitch Trailblazer:''' You're wearing protective goggles to destroy my cart?!\
'''Sprout Cloverleaf:''' Safety first!
* KarmaHoudini: While it is unclear how he got away with his takeover of Maretime Bay and rampage in a giant robot, it's [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4952648115 mentioned]] he got away with smashing Hitch's cart in a bout of irrational rage on account of being under the influence of medication at the time.
* MoodSwinger: While [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4952646750 under]] the effects of an experimental [[IncompetenceInc Canterlogic]] 'mood-improvement medication' (He volunteered for the Pony test trials), he swung between being an extremely motivated and confident smack-talking LargeHam to being an [[IrrationalHatred irrationally]] [[UnstoppableRage angry]] maniac who smashes property (while wearing safety goggles) over slights.
* ShoutOut: His [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4952646750 behaviour]] while under the influence of a mood-improvement drug pays homage to his canon voice actor's character and his antics in several episodes of ''[[{{Series/Community}} Community]]''.
* TragicVillain: Ultimately, Sprout is still just a product of prejudiced environments and influences which he was born and grew up in and which were the root causes of his brief villainy. Thus, his dictatorship and rampage is [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4951147369 portrayed]] to be less solely his fault and more a tragic consequence of ignorance and misinformation resulting in Tribalist attitudes being so widespread in that corner of New Equus that even a bigoted idiot like Sprout could take advantage of them to take over. It doesn't justify what he did, but it's perfectly understandable in that context.
[[/folder]]

!!Zephyr Heights
[[folder:General]]
* AndThenWhat: Many Pegasi are left wondering what to do next with Zephyr Heights after they overthrown the royal family. In the end, they couldn't find an alternative and reluctantly restored Queen Haven to the throne.
* CivilWar: Averted with Queen Haven's restoration to the throne after the Pegasi of Zephyr Heights failed to replace the monarchy and the factions squabbling for power during the interregnum were on the verge of open warfare.
* TheCoup: No less than five coups were launched by the military of Zehyr Heights during the interregnum that followed Queen Haven's overthrow and eventual restoration. All of them failed because like every other factions' attempts, it's implied even the generals [[AndThenWhat have no clear idea as to how to remake or even run Zephyr Heights their way]] and [[WeAreStrugglingTogether quickly degenerated into dysfunctional squabbling]] that led to the coups dissolving.
* DemocracyIsFlawed: The [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4979434828 attempt]] to form a unified democratic provisional government where all factions' interests are represented became a case of this, with endless infighting and contested elections leading to no less than eleven presidents and twenty-nine hung parliaments in a matter of ''weeks''. TheCoup which ended it was described almost as a MercyKill to the whole unsuccessful experiment. There are plans to try again as a constitutional monarchy ala Great Britain after Queen Haven was restored to the throne, [[TemptingFate on the caveat that nothing goes wrong]] or [[SpannerInTheWorks interfere with Zephyr Heights]] during that time.
* EpicFail: The [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4979434828 attempts]] by the Pegasi of Zephyr Height to form a government from the ground up to replace the monarchy they overthrew ended in spectacular failure due to endless infighting and squabbling between the many, ''many'' factions and interests trying to seize the chance in the ensuring political vacuum to take over Zephyr Heights and reformed it InTheirOwnImage. In the end, the situation became so comically bad that it partly contributed to the restoration of the overthrown Queen Haven and her family to the throne ala the [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stuart_Restoration Stuart Restoration]] as the alternative was a CivilWar. This is explained as partly due to the fact the monarchy ruled for so long with such stability and prosperity that even the Pegasi who disagreed with it [[WeHaveBecomeComplacent became complacent]] as to its replacement, having never really believed things would ever change and thus [[AndThenWhat never really thought about what to do next]] when the monarchy WAS overthrown.
* HopeBringer: The royal family are this to the rest of their people, being the only pegasi that can fly, from which they derive their legitimacy. Sadly it is a lie, and they can't really fly. In fact, they never could. The only reason they pretended was so it could give hope to their people.
* LuxuryPrisonSuite: The pegasi have a dungeon to detain ponies, but it's less of a "prison" and more of a luxurious hotel stay, complete with a massage chair and fountain. Haven [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4962442470 admits]] this was intentional, in case her family was ever arrested.
* MeleeATrois: A political one erupted following Queen Haven's overthrow between the countless factions and interests in Zephyr Heights that now had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to replace the monarchy. The squabblings led nowhere and eventually led to Queen Haven's restoration partly to avert an actual CivilWar.
* NoodleIncident: The [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4979434828 entire interregnum]] between Queen Haven's overthrow and restoration in Zephyr Heights is described briefly and vaguely by two IFF researchers observing New Equus in one Drabble. From their words, it's nothing short of a [[EpicFail massive cluster-buck]] of political intrigue and social turmoil.
* WeHaveBecomeComplacent: Because the monarchy had ruled for generations with such stability and prosperity, even the Pegasi of Zephyr Heights who disagreed with it didn't think it would ever change and never properly thought about alternatives to replace it. This bit everypony in the flank when Queen Haven WAS overthrown for deceiving her subjects as literally everybody, regardless of their disagreements and ideals, have no clear idea as to what or how to replace it, ultimately leading to Queen Haven's restoration to the throne.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Queen Haven]]
----
* ClosestThingWeGot: Part of the reason she was allowed to retake the throne is that, unlike her opponents, she has at least some idea how to run a government.
* CrazyPrepared: She [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4962442470 deliberately]] made their prison cells to be as comfortable as possible - to the point [[GildedCage the palace dungeons resemble a luxurious spa than anything]] - so that in the event she and the royal family's secret came out (that they can't fly like their subjects) and they get thrown into prison for it.
* KinkyCuffs: She casually [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4962442470 mentioned]] she enjoyed playing with cuffs with her husband/consort back when he was still around, much to her daughter Pipp Petal's [[TooMuchInformation consternation]].
* OnceDoneNeverForgotten: While Queen Haven was eventually [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4979434828 returned]] to the throne, it's noted that because of the monarchy's earlier deception about their ability to fly, the Pegasi never fully trust her again.
* RightfulKingReturns: Queen, in her case, in part [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4979351174 because]] the royal family DID as promised by their ancestors found a way to restore Pegasi flight, and partly due to [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4979434828 failing]] to figure out what should replace the monarchy.
* UtopiaJustifiesTheMeans: Queen Haven justifies lying to her people about their ability to fly because it gives them hope that even if it's just the Royals, the pegasi haven't lost their magic completely. It's hard to argue with her when compared to the splendor and high level of technology Zephyr Heights has, the earth ponies live in a state of constant fear and the unicorns are overcome with depression and apathy.

General Morning Glory (Her entry [[https://www.deviantart.com/brutalityinc/art/New-Equus-Notable-Individuals-966517092 here]]) of the Zephyr Heights Royal Army (Legion Group North) is a notable military figure of the Pegasi kingdom, and despite her seeming outward arrogance and vanity is genuinely competent, surprisingly insightful and very honourable.
----
* BadassArmy: Implied to command one in the form of Legion Group North, a force which had been fighting conflicts against wild beasts and hostile factions.
* BadassBoast: She [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4988195778 made]] a few when she confidently told a [=CanterLogic=] representative that she could beat the rebuilt and repurposed Sprouticus Maximus robot by herself without an army, her magic or even using her wings. And she lived up to them as well.
* BeneathTheMask: While outwardly arrogant and vain, she is surprisingly insightful and very honourable, as well as a good mother.
* ColossusClimb: How General Morning Glory [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4988195778 defeated]] the rebuilt and repurposed 'Sprouticus Maximus' in a field-testing/sparring session against it, evading its attacks and climbing it while the pilot was distracted by smoke and debris from its own weapons landing too close - even avoiding electrocution from its anti-boarding measures - and forced her way into the cockpit to force the pilot and the robot into submission.
* TheCoup: She participated in the overthrow of the Zephyr Height Royal Family after their inability to actually fly was exposed, claiming she was the one who gave the actual order to arrest them.
* DavidVersusGoliath: When [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4988195778 visiting]] Maretime Bay to do a security evaluation on behalf of Queen Haven for her two daughters moving in there, she decided to pick a fight against [=CanterLogic=]'s rebuilt and repurposed 'Sprouticus Maximus' robot, proclaiming that she can 'hoof it its shiny metal flank before breakfast' in a mare against machine fight, without an army, her Pegasi magic or even using her wings. Amazingly, she manages to actually live up to her boast not once but ''twice'', even though the machine itself had [[TookALevelInBadass been upgraded]] with various improvements.
* DiscOneFinalBoss: She was the last obstacle for the Unifying Five in leaving Zephyr Heights (which was a more prolonged and challenging affair then what media suggested otherwise), and by far the most dangerous on account of being a legitimate FourStarBadass and FrontlineGeneral.
* TheDreaded: Princess Zipp Storm is [[OhCrap immediately apprehensive]] when General Morning Glory confronted her, and [[WarHero with]] [[FrontlineGeneral good]] [[FourStarBadass reason]].
* {{Expy}}: Takes her cues from several vain/cocky but nevertheless competent military characters in fiction, such as [[{{Characters/AmphibiaNewtopia}} General]] [[https://amphibia.fandom.com/wiki/General_Yunan Yunan]]'s boastful and conceited character.
* FourStarBadass: Unlike the [[TheGuardsMustBeCrazy Pegasi]] [[MilitariesAreUseless Guards]] in Zephyr Heights proper, General Morning Glory is legitimately competent both as a commander and a warrior, having earned her rank and glory in the field. After sharing her initial shock with the other Pegasi at the reveal of the Zephyr Heights Royal Family's inability to fly (and with it their illegitimacy), she was among the few who quickly got their act together and ordered the royal family's arrest.
* FrontlineGeneral: While she ordered her guards and soldiers to search for and arrest the Zephyr Heights Royal Family, she also personally participated in the search for the two daughters of Queen Haven, and was the one who figured out where they might escape and personally tried to arrest them and the other Unifying Five just as they were on the verge of leaving Zephyr Heights. Subverted during later events between overthrow of the royal family and the return of magic to New Equus as she was too busy dealing with events in Zephyr Heights itself to participate in the pursuit of the Unifying Five and later the escaped Queen Haven personally. It's implied she personally fought on the front lines back up north with her army against the likes of 'Valley Hydras' and 'Mountain Warlords'
* GoodParents: She has a daughter whom she loves, having implied to happen to be in Zephyr Heights away from her post up north specifically to go watch Princess Pipp Petal's song-debut show together.
* GreatOffscreenWar: She fought against various enemies in the north of Zephyr Heights with her BadassArmy before the events of the ANG, including in a conflict against a group of 'Mountain Warlords'.
* HenpeckedHusband: Downplayed in that her more reserved and dignified husband Fragrant Olive reins her in and they both love each other very much, but it's noted that Morning Glory is clearly the one 'wearing the pants in the relationship'.
* HeroAntagonist: She's a WarHero who is acting on the will of the very pissed-off people of Zephyr Heights to try and arrest the royal family for deceiving the kingdom (and the other members of the Unifying Five for being non-Pegasi intruders).
* HiddenDepths: While outwardly conceited and boastful, she is also a legitimately capable warrior and commander. For example, she figured out where the Unifying Five would attempt to depart from Zephyr Heights and personally went to intercept them to ensure they would not escape. She also fought and won against giant monsters and renegade factions back up north with her army.
* HopelessBossFight: Because she is a bonafide FrontlineGeneral FourStarBadass who fought and earned her high rank and glory, the Unifying Five were so outclassed in combat skill and experience by General Morning Glory in their first encounter with her that they couldn't even fight her properly, and only barely managed to slip past her to escape Zephyr Heights with a mix of cunning, improvisation and luck.
* LargeHam: When Hitch Trailblazer wondered who she is, the conceited Pegasi General quickly decides to introduce herself in a most vainglorious manner.
--> '''General Morning Glory:''' You have not heard of me? Not surprising, I guess. Allow me to introduce myself then: I am '''GENERAL MORNING GLORY!''' Guardian of the Northern Reaches! Slayer of the Valley Hydras! Hammer of the Mountain Warlords...!
* TheMagnificent: Among her epithets and titles include 'Guardian of the Northern Reaches', 'Slayer of the Valley Hydras', and 'Hammer of the Mountain Warlords'. Her leading epithet is 'the Lioness of Zephyr Heights'.
* MamaBear: She was ''VERY'' pissed off when her daughter was heartbroken over discovering her favourite royal idol was actually a royal fraud when it was revealed the royals can't actually fly. It may have contributed to her decision to (by her own words) order the arrest of the Zephyr Heights Royal Family.
* MentorArchetype: After the magic is restored, she decides to train the Unifying Five in combat as a reward for restoring said magic and Pipp helping her daughter learn to fly.
* OneManArmy: She had been noted to have taken down whole ranks of soldiers, felled monsters and disabled war machines single-hoofed.
* RedBaron: She's called the 'Lioness of Zephyr Heights', and with [[FourStarBadass good reason]].
* TheReliableOne: Easily one of the most competent of the guards in the Pegasi army, and is often cited as one of the few pegasi in Zephyr Heights who 'actually knows what they're doing'.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: By her own words, she was the Pegasi general who ordered the Zephyr Height Royal Family's arrest after they were exposed. She also led the search for Zipp Storm and Pipp Petals.
* TheStrategist: As expected of a mare who is a FourStarBadass, a FrontlineGeneral and a WarHero, she is an able tactician and strategist, and demonstrates her credentials on and off the battlefield.
** She manages to neutralise the rebuilt and repurposed (and even improved) Sprouticus Maximus twice without resorting to her army, her magic or even her wings. In the first field-test/spar, she took advantage of its weaknesses in mobility and accuracy to outmaneuver its slow turning speed on treads and avoid its splatterpult and rocket volleys simply by taking cover behind rocks, trees and hills, turned its weapons against it by getting the pilot to fire too close to itself and kick up smoke and debris, which she used as a distraction to climb aboard (avoiding electrocution from its anti-climber defense system [[MundaneSolution simply by standing on non-metal parts]]), before reaching the robot's cockpit, open the door by smashing through the door's porthole window to reach the handle with her own hooves and getting the pilot to submit in a chokehold. In a later field-test/spar, she manages to nearly topple it by luring it to a hilly uneven terrain, and jam its splatterpults among woodland trees.
* UnreliableNarrator: While she claimed she was the one who gave the order to arrest the Zephyr Heights Royal Family, other parts of her Drabble implied several other figures gave the same order, [[AmbiguousSituation leaving it ambiguous]] whether she really was the one who did it or if she was just claiming credit for it in her vanity. It is conceivable that she could had, or did so along with several others simultaneously without being aware the others did the same thing.
* VetinariJobSecurity: [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/5064262793 How]] she kept her job despite being one of those co-leading TheCoup against Queen Haven after the monarchy's duplicity is exposed. As it turned out, being a popular WarHero and one of the few Ponies in Zephyr Heights who actually knows what they're doing goes a long way in ensuring job security.
* WarHero: This mare fought in actual conflicts, having battled a bunch of 'Mountain Warlords' up north with her legion and apparently hoofing them their flanks readily.
* WhatTheHellHero: She briefly let Pipp Petal and Zipp Storm have it for the royal family's deception of Zephyr Heights over their ability to fly (and with it their royal legitimacy), outraged at being lied to all this time along with the rest of the kingdom, as well as [[MamaBear the fact that her daughter]]'s [[BrokenPedestal royal idol turned out to be a royal fraud]].
--> '''General Morning Glory:''' [To Pipp Petals] Princess? HA! My daughter ADORED you, you know, but you stopped being our princesses when you showed your true colours! ''[[TheCoup I was the one who ordered your arrest!]]''
* YouShallNotPass: Attempted to stop the Unifying Five from escaping Zephyr Heights, intercepting them at the maintenance atrium just as they could reach the maintenance elevator that could take them out of the capital city. The Unifying Five just ''barely'' managed to get pass her through desperate cunning and luck due to her skills and experience as a FrontlineGeneral.

[[folder:General]]
* HowTheMightyHaveFallen: The Unicorns of Bridlewood, like in canon, have gone from a powerful, magic-using Pony tribe known for being members of royalty and/or nobility, to a completely apathetic tribe that became collectively despondent from their inability to use magic like their ancestors.

* {{Expy}}: Of the town Promise from Deep Pond's fan fiction "A Great and Powerful Heart".
* FantasticRacism: Even more so than most of the rest of Equestria both before and after the return of magic, to the point where the local law enforcement are secretly members of the Hoof Bux Klan and the sheriff's deputies tried to put together a lynch mob to go after an Earth pony farming couple just because the mare gave birth to a unicorn and a pegasus (Fortunately for the family, Zipp and Izzy showed up in time to help them escape and make short work of the mob).
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Sheriff February C. Ironhoof]]
First mentioned in a [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4945612910 Drabble]], Sheriff Ironhoof is the corrupt and extremely racist sheriff of Pledge Falls and a member of the Hoof Bux Klan.
----
* AdaptationalKarma: Sheriff Brass didn't get in trouble for the events of "A Great and Powerful Heart" until after Trixie and her adopted son Jasper ascended in "The Great Alicorn Hunt" (though he was punished QUITE severely in the latter story). Sheriff Ironhoof, by contrast, gets exposed and faces real trouble for his crimes much sooner.
* BigotWithABadge: VERY much so. When Izzy and Zipp tried to report an attempted lynching of the family they saved, Ironhoof was only upset because a unicorn and a pegasus made fools out of his deputies.
* {{Expy}}: Of Sheriff Brass From "A Great and Powerful Heart"
* {{Foil}}: To Hitch Trailblazer. While Hitch eventually learned that the bigotry he was raised to believe in was wrong and was a genuinely Nice Guy outside of said bigotry, Ironhoof was a straight-up member of the Hoof Bux Klan and a major jerk more concerned about his deputies getting humiliated than with the fact they were trying to lead an attempted lynching of an innocent family.
* MeaningfulName: His last name "Ironhoof" is quite appropriate as he and his deputies essentially ruled over the town of Pledge Falls in a cruel and strict manner (i.e. with an iron hoof)
* MuggingTheMonster: A variant, but given that Zipp is royalty (even if she didn't point it out herself to Ironhoof or his deputies), making threats to her and Izzy still qualifies. Hitch notes that if he did kill Zipp, Queen Haven and the pegasi army would've destroyed him.
* ShoutOut: February C. Ironhoof's name is one to the main villain of "Here Comes Peter Cottontail" - January Q. Irontail.

[[folder:Last Call/Mare-Do-Well]]
First introduced in a [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4955963103 Drabble]], Last Call was an actress who almost had a big break in the movie industry playing the role of the legendary Mare-Do-Well in a film-shoot, but finds herself actually donning the mantle for real.
----
* ArchEnemy: Found one in Kathleen Springheart, who would become the Mare-Do-Rotten of New Equus.
* AscendedFangirl: Was a Mare-Do-Well fan who became the real thing.
* BadassNormal: Only had awakened Earth pony abilities, but still had the skills and intelligence to hold her own against far more powerful criminals.
* BecomingTheMask: An actress playing a super-heroine who became a real super-heroine.
* BrokenPedestal: Her dealings with Kathleen Springheart are a zig-zagged example. While she is quite well aware that Kathleen was nowhere near as good a mare as the character she played, her portrayal of the Mare-Do-Well still had some good lessons to teach.
* {{Determinator}}: Absolutely refused to stay down no matter how much of a pounding she took and never stopped until the job was done.
* {{Expy}}: Of the ''WesternAnimation/DuckTales2017'' version of Darkwing Duck. Like that version of Darkwing, she's an actor who played a hero in a movie that became a real hero after the production was ruined.
* HeroicLineage: A descendant of Curtain Call, one of the half-sisters of Trixie Lulamoon/Splendid Sorceress II/Princess Anasi Lulamoon Equestria, which means she is ALSO a distant descendant of the ORIGINAL Mare-Do-Well.
* LargeHam: Not quite as hammy as Kathleen Springheart, but she could still chew the scenery with the best of them. Kind of part and parcel for claiming the mantle of one of the hammiest heroes of the Second Age.
* LetsGetDangerous: Quite willing to put her life on the line to protect the innocent, like a real hero is supposed to do.
%%* MamaBear: EXTREMELY protective of children.
* NiceGirl: A few moments of over-inflated pride aside, she is actually a rather pleasant mare most of the time, especially to her sidekick Fluffy Muffins, to fellow Mare-Do-Well fan Hitch Trailblazer, honest cops in general and to children and is actually slightly LESS egotistical than the original Mare-Do-Well (probably because she was ALREADY starting out with a sidekick to help her keep her ego in check while the original didn't get HER sidekick until eleven years into her career). In fact, it is her fondest hope that she act as a positive role model to inspire children as Kathleen Springheart's portrayal of the Mare-Do-Well inspired her, Hitch and Fluffy.
* NoStuntDouble: Like Kathleen Springheart before her, Last Call trained herself to possess all the skills she needed to do all of her own stunts.
* SuperiorSuccessor: Both to Kathleen Springheart as the Mare-Do-Well role (owing to actually getting what it truly means to be a hero as well as being much more respectful to unicorns, Pegasi and other sapient species) and, to a lesser extent, the original Mare-Do-Well (as she has enough control over her ego for her skill to show more consistently, albeit only slightly).
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Fluffy Muffins]]
A huge Mare-Do-Well fan who became the sidekick of the current Mare-Do-Well, Last Call.
----
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: While certainly a good-natured goofball most of the time, Fluffy is an extremely skilled fighter with a rather good instinct for telling the good guys from the bad guys.
* {{Expy}}: Of Launchpad [=McQuack=] (mostly the [[WesternAnimation/DuckTales2017 reboot version]])
* GeniusDitz: Quite knowledgeable of the traditions of super-heroics (due to reading A LOT of comic books and already being an experienced adventurer before meeting Last Call) as well as a surprisingly skilled airship pilot.
* HeroicLineage: A distant descendant of Derpy "Muffins" Hooves.
* HypercompetentSidekick: Downplayed but, while Last Call is definitely the smarter of the two, Fluffy is a more experienced adventurer and, thus, a better fighter.
* KindHeartedSimpleton: Not the sharpest tool in the shed, but an extremely nice gal who genuinely loves helping others
* MoralityChain: Very certainly part of this to Last Call.

[[folder:Kathleen Springheart/Mare-Do-Rotten]]
-> ''"It was all a setup. That hack put my fan in danger to steal the glory and humiliate me! They want grim and gritty, huh?'' '''''Happy to play the part!"'''''
First introduced in a [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/889105057/4955963103 Drabble]], Kathleen Springheart was an old actress who played the legendary Mare-Do-Well in Televisor shows in the past but is now pass her prime, and is filled with jealousy and bitterness to see her role being usurped by others. When turned down the lead role by a studio for a big Mare-Do-Well film, she snaps and try to get back on the studio and the actress Last Call who would be playing her role - in the process ended up becoming the new Mare-Do-Rotten.
----
* ArchEnemy: To Last Call, the Mare-Do-Well of New Equus in the Fifth Age.
* BadassNormal: No super-powers, but she could certainly hold her own in a fight, even against super-powered opponents much younger than herself (usually when she had weapons specially tailored to their weaknesses, if the super-powered opponent was holding back out of morality or an equal combination of both)
* BadassBookworm: Smart enough to design and build weapons for fighting super-powered opponents, strong enough and agile enough to hold her own against skilled fighters much younger than she is.
* DentedIron: The injuries she took doing her own stunts on the Mare-Do-Well series certainly took their toll on her sanity as well as on her body.
* EvilOldFolks: The "old" part is downplayed, but the "evil" part is definitely played straight.
* {{Expy}}: Of Jim Starling/the [[WesternAnimation/DuckTales2017 [=DuckTales=]]] reboot version of Negaduck.
* HeelRealization: She briefly realise the folly of her actions and helped trying to defuse her own plot to get back on the studio and Last Call. [[HeelFaceDoorSlam It doesn't stick]] as the explosion that followed [[LaserGuidedAmnesia gave her a concussion and made her forget it]].
* HerosEvilPredecessor: She was the actress who played the Mare-Do-Well before Last Call did.
* HeroicSacrifice: In a manner of speaking; SHE didn't die in that studio explosion, but her last remaining shred of decency DID.
* {{Irony}}: Kathleen wanted to be Mare-Do-Well in a televisor/cinematic role. She ended up becoming the heroine's ArchEnemy Mare-Do-''Rotten'' for real.
* InTheBlood: Implied, as it's revealed she's very distantly related to Springheart/Agent 'Chrysalis' back in the Second Age (and possibly Queen Chrysalis in the Fourth Age), and like them she turned out to be a villain.
* {{Jerkass}}: She had all of the original Mare-Do-Well's ego and VERY FEW (eventually none) of her redeeming qualities. This, however, would serve her quite well as the Mare-Do-Rotten of New Equus.
* LargeHam: Definitely had the ham needed to play the role and then some, commanding a huge presence both in and out of costume. This would eventually become Evil Is Hammy once she became the Mare-Do-Rotten.
* NeverMessWithGranny: Downplayed as she is "only" in her late-50s/early-60s, but she still has the strength and agility to hold her own against trained fighters thirty years her junior.
* NiceCharacterMeanActor: A downplayed example of the "Nice Character" part (as the writers were quite racist against unicorns and Pegasi, ALWAYS portraying them as villains played by earth ponies with fake horns or wings as well as using special effects to mimic a wide range of perceived abilities), but she DID play a super-hero. However, in real life, Springheart was a gigantic egomaniac who not only was partially responsible for her show getting cancelled with her increasingly outrageous demands, but also had a tendency to be rude to her fans. In fact, the "mean actor" part would be amplified when she became a real life super-villainess.
* NoStuntDouble: She did ALL of her own stunts, having trained herself to be able to do so.
* PoliticallyIncorrectHero: She played one on TV (due to most of the Earth ponies' attitudes against Unicorns and Pegasi at the time the show was running). In real life, only the "politically incorrect" part applied.
