!!Kamen Riders

[[folder:In General]]
* AdaptationalHeroism:
** [[spoiler:In ''Series/KamenRiderRyuki'', Onyx's counterpart Ryuga was the BigBad of TheMovie. In ''Dragon Knight'', Onyx is only evil in Kit's dreams. When Kit finally becomes him, he's still a hero.]]
** While Len starts out as an AntiHero just like Ren, Len drops his AntiHero act much sooner than Ren. Len is also nicer and befriends more people than Ren ever did, even if some of his friends were FireForgedFriends.
** While still a villain, Incisor is mostly in for the money, had no idea about what's going on as he's more-or-less manipulated by Xaviax to join the War, and turns into a better person in the novel; unlike Scissors who is a CorruptCop and utter {{Jerkass}} that uses his Rider powers as a way to dispose of anyone who gets in his way.
** As noted below, Verde was the BigBad of ''13 Riders'' movie. Camo, on the other hand, has a role more equivalent to Zolda - Torque's Japanese counterpart.
** Thrust is portrayed with ''a lot'' more sympathy than his ''Ryuki'' counterpart, Gai. In addition, Brad reveals his true colors as a good guy beneath the manipulation after seeing Grant getting vented, while Jun is still among one of the biggest {{Hate Sink}}s in the entire ''Franchise/KamenRider'' franchise.
** Zig-zagged with Kase. Her ''Ryuki'' counterpart Miho is more of an AntiHero but was still very sympathetic. Kase made it her business to butt heads with Kit before she learned to respect him but is otherwise an unambiguously heroic person.
** Master Eubulon is the BigGood and the creator of the Kamen Riders. His ''Ryuki'' counterpart was a WellIntentionedExtremist.
* AlternateSelf: All of the Earth Riders are Mirror Twins of the Ventaran Riders.
* BondCreature: Each Kamen Rider has an Advent Beast, a creature they can summon to aid them in battle.
* CompositeCharacter: Despite wearing a particular Rider's suit from ''Ryuki'', each Rider has the personality and characteristics of another.
** Kit Taylor (Dragon Knight II & Onyx I) fights to save his father, just like Ren Akiyama (Knight) fought to save his girlfriend.
** Both Len (Wing Knight) and Kase (Siren I), as well as ''all'' the Ventaran Riders, have a direct connection to the creators of the Mirror Monsters and Advent Decks, much like Hajime Nakamura (Alternative) and Hideyuki Kagawa (Alternative Zero).
** Richie Preston (Incisor) is a rich boy who was recently cast out by his family, much like Mitsuru Sano (Imperer) was.
** Drew Lansing (Torque) is a con artist, much like Miho Kirishima (Femme).
** Chris Ramirez (Sting) had an illness that he was told could be cured if he fought, just like Shuichi Kitaoka (Zolda).
** Brad Barrett (Thrust) received some parts from both Masashi Sudo (Scissors) and Mitsuru Sano (Imperer).
*** Like Masashi had been done by Shiro, Brad was being blackmailed by Xaviax. That being said, in Brad's case he had been framed in order for Xaviax to gain leverage over him.
*** Both Sano and Brad [[RefusalOfTheCall wanted out]] after their initial acceptances of becoming a Rider. That being said, the way it's done was different: In Sano's case, he wanted to retire altogether after he achieved his goal only to be told by Kanzaki that he will be killed by his own Contract Monsters if he didn't continue fighting. In Brad's case, he was reluctant to fight again after he discovered that he was tricked by Xaviax and he actually confronts Xaviax about it, but Xaviax told him that he still had some dirt on him and orders Brad to continue fighting for his side or he wouldn't be able to achieve his goal (or in Xaviax's own words, "vent or be vented").
** JTC (Strike) has a charismatic personality much like Itsuro Takamizawa (Verde).
** Danny Cho (Axe) becomes a non-murderous version of Takeshi Asakura (Ouja) after Kit "vexed" him (i.e., vented his brother).
** Albert Cho (Spear), as well as Danny, is a homeless man, like the first unnamed Odin.
** Maya Young (Siren II) is a photographic reporter who wishes to stop the fighting between Kamen Riders, just like Shinji Kido (Ryuki).
** Grant Staley (Camo) has a competitive streak and is not above cheating, much like Jun Shibaura (Gai).
** Xaviax possessing Vic Fraiser (Wrath) due to the latter being in a coma is similar to how Miyuki Tezuka (Raia) became a Rider in place of his friend after the latter's death. Also, both Shiro Kanzaki and Xaviax created the Mirror Monsters, and Shiro became Odin at one point.
** Master Eubulon (Advent Master) created the Advent Decks, just like Shiro Kanzaki, who took over as Odin at one point.
** Adam (Dragon Knight I), prior to his HeelFaceTurn, was a "dark" version of Kit, much like "Dark Shinji" (Ryuga), and had misguided morals on the concept of doing what he thought was right, much like Satoru Tojo (Tiger).
** Colonel David Stuart (Onyx II) from ''[=2World=] [=1Hearts=]'' takes elements from Masashi Sudo (Scissors), Takeshi Asakura (Ouja), and Shinji Kido (Ryuki).
*** [[spoiler:The way he died is similar to how Sudo was killed, as Sudo ended up being eaten alive by Volcancer after his Scissors deck is broken into pieces by Ren's Final Vent.]]
*** [[spoiler:Him gathering all the Advent Decks is similar to one of the [=SIC=] Hero Saga stories in ''Ryuki'', where Ouja was able to hijack all the Contract Monsters into one massive Contract Monster, Genosurvivor]].
*** [[spoiler:Him fighting 12 Riders at once is similar to the ''13 Riders'' special, where Shinji fights all the other Riders save for Raia, Scissors, and Knight (the former two having been killed at that point, and Knight having been fatally wounded, passing on his deck to Shinji)]].

[[folder:Kit Taylor/Kamen Rider Dragon Knight]]
!! Kit Taylor/Kamen Rider Dragon Knight [[spoiler:II/Kamen Rider Onyx I]]
!!! Portrayed by: Creator/StephenLunsford, Voiced by: Creator/JohnnyYongBosch (video game), Creator/TatsuhisaSuzuki (Japanese dub)
->''[[AccidentalHero I didn't want this.]]''
\
In the year since Kit's dad mysteriously vanished, Kit has gained a reputation as a criminal (which he claims is completely undeserved). He appears to have stumbled into the Rider war completely by accident. While he genuinely wants to help out, one of his first priorities is trying to find and help his dad. [[spoiler:His dad's disappearance were set up by Xaviax. After Kit rejected Xaviax's manipulation and joined forces with Len, Xaviax eventually succeeded in sending Kit to the Advent Void. Xaviax took the Dragon Deck as a prize, but Kit got a replacement deck from Eubulon after being pulled back into the real world and became Kamen Rider Onyx.]]
----
* AdaptationalJerkass: Unlike Shinji, who was an all-out NiceGuy who refused to finish off another human, Kit shows signs of being rude or unpleasant from time to time, and he's not as unwilling to use his Final Vent if pushed.
* AdaptationalWimp: Zigzagged. Unlike Shinji, Kit was already a trained fighter since before gaining his Advent Deck. Thus, even in the first episode, Kit could outfight several low-level Mirror Monsters while detransformed. However, in terms of inner strength, Shinji is more resilient than Kit, thus never abandoning his "no kill" rule. Likewise, whereas Kit has the biggest loss record out all the Kamen Riders in the show, Shinji gradually became the most skilled participant of the Rider War.
** One example is Ryuki/Kit's one-to-one fight with Ouja/Strike in the middle of the series. In Ryuki, Ouja defeats Ryuki because previously he injured Shinji's arm with a piece of metal before they transformed; In Dragon Knight, Kit fights Strike in perfect shape and still loses badly without getting a single hit.
** Ryuki also receives his survive card far sooner than Kit does, using the card several times and becoming more skilled with it than Kit, who only got to use it once. Likewise, the Survive Card has a time limit in Dragon Knight, whereas the original did not have such a weakness.
** As a matter of fact, most of the scenes where Dragon Knight gets the upper hand on a fight are footage of Ryuki winning, with most of the Dragon Knight's originals battles having Kit losing.
* AdaptationalPersonalityChange: Somewhat. While Kit is still the one of the main heroes of the story, he can be pushed to use the Final Vent to vent another Rider (in this case, Albert/Spear). This is different from Shinji, who is dead set in his plan to stop the Rider War and thus barring Ryuga, never killed another Rider as a result.
* BigNo: [[spoiler:In the Japanese dub, he screams this when Chris starts to disintegrate following Chris' HeroicSacrifice.]]
* BondCreature: Dragreder the dragon (Dragranzer in Survive Mode) as Dragon Knight, [[spoiler: Dragblacker the dragon as Onyx.]]
* CoolBike: His [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suzuki_Katana Suzuki Katana 600]], which transforms into his Dragon Cycle, the Adventcycle (a generic motorcycle for all the riders), and Dragredder transforms into one for Survive Dragon Knight's Final Vent.
%%* CoolSword: His Sword Vent.
* DarkIsNotEvil: [[spoiler:As Onyx. He is not a naive hero anymore, but that is because of what he had to go through, not the Onyx deck.]]
* DeadpanSnarker: Makes sarcastic remarks every now and then. His reaction when he is told that the other riders will be after him because he sides with Len is pure sarcasm.
-->'''[=Kit=]:''' Great. Now, because of you I have a big ''Kick Me'' sign on my back.
* DisappearedDad: Kit's main motive at first is to find out what happened to his dad. [[spoiler:He later discovers his father was rendered into a vegetative state due to Xaviax's schemes, something the alien general and Strike are fond of using to manipulate him with.]]
%%* DragonKnight
* EveryoneHasStandards: He hates bullies, but a flashback shows him to be unwilling to go through with his friends' plot to frame one of the local bullies.
* EvilCostumeSwitch: Subverted with a vengeance. [[spoiler:After a series of nightmares lead him to believe that Onyx is some kind of dark force threatening to possess him and becoming hesitant to use the Onyx deck when it was offered to him for the first time, Kit takes up the mantle of Onyx while ''Adam'' uses the Dragon Knight armor until the end of the series.]] Oddly enough, [[spoiler:Chance and Price state that all the Riders have those nightmares because it's actually the ''ADVENT BEAST'' trying to take over the Rider it's bonded with!!]]
* ExplainExplainOhCrap: Kit explains to Torque and Camo why they should not fight each other.
-->'''Kit:''' Torque, stop, listen. Xaxiax has been tricking the other riders, offering each one something they want. He told Incisor he'd give him a million bucks to take out Wing Knight. This guy ''(points to Camo)'' wanted a challenge. Xaviax told him Wing Knight was the toughest man on two worlds. [[spoiler:Everyone who's after Wing Knight... ''(realizing he has been tricked)'' is working for Xaviax...]]
-->'''[=Torque=]:''' ''[laughs]'' Congratulations, Kit. Thank you for playing. Let's tell him what he's won... [[spoiler:a one-way pass to the Advent Void.]]
* FosterKid: Part of his backstory is that he spent a year in the foster care system since his dad disappeared. He briefly interacts with his foster family when he leaves their care in the premiere, but is otherwise preoccupied with his biological dad throughout the series.
* FrameUp: It turns out his criminal record was not his fault.
* TheHero: Obviously, being the first rider.
* KillItWithFire: His Advent Beast's main mode of attack.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: He is usually a good guy, but can be childish at times.
* JerkassHasAPoint: While he could have been more mature about it, Kit wasn't wrong to be upset at Kase's rude attitude.
* MajorInjuryUnderreaction: When [[spoiler:vented. Some riders pleaded for mercy, some were defiant. Kit claimed that he feels weird and assured Len that everything is okay before disappearing.]]
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone:
** [[spoiler:After he realized that Torque tricked him and he nearly got both Len and himself vented.]]
** His reaction after venting [[spoiler:Spear.]]
* NaiveNewcomer: But he does get legitimately more badass as time goes on.
* OpenMouthInsertFoot: Quotes this trope word to word after unknowingly hurting Chris.
* OurHeroIsDead: [[spoiler:Gets vented in episode 31. But the next episode is the one where his friends find the guy who can get people out of the Advent Void.]]
* ProperlyParanoid: In ''2World 1Hearts''. When Colonel Stuart introduces himself as representative of a governmental weapons department, Kit immediately jumps to the conclusion that he wants to apply rider technology to the weapons industry.
* RedIsHeroic: As a main rider in red armor, this is given.
* RedeemingReplacement: To the original Dragon Knight, Adam.
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge: [[spoiler:[[PreAssKickingOneLiner "This is for Chris..."]]]]
* SparedByTheAdaptation: [[spoiler:Because Onyx's deck is the hidden [=13th=] Deck and Onyx didn't participate in the initial Rider War, Onyx thus survived unlike Ryuga who is killed at the end of ''Episode Final''.]]
* SuperpoweredEvilSide:
** Kit believes Onyx to be this at first. [[spoiler:Subverted when the Onyx deck turns out to just be an unfinished prototype deck that's no more evil than his familiar Dragon Knight deck.]]
** [[spoiler:Played partially straight when it's revealed by Chance and Price that Onyx is originally a manifestation of ''Dragreder'' trying to take control of Kit in his dreams!]]
* SuperiorSuccessor: [[spoiler: The only advantage the Dragon Knight deck has over the Onyx deck is a survive card; other than that, Onyx is superior to Dragon Knight]].
* UnstoppableRage: [[spoiler: Got pushed into this after Chris' venting and he discovered that his dad was used a manipulation tool against him, which led him to vent Spear out of revenge. After he returned as Onyx, he almost got pushed into this again during his battle with Adam. Thankfully, Eubulon arrived just in time to stop Kit from venting Adam.]]

!! Len/Kamen Rider Wing Knight
!!! Portrayed by: Creator/MattMullins, Voiced by: Creator/PeterDoyle (video game), Creator/SatoshiMatsuda (Japanese dub)
->''You always have a choice.''
\
[[LastOfHisKind Last of the Ventaran Kamen Riders]] and Xaviax's number one target. Tries to keep everyone out of the Rider conflict for fear of someone getting hurt, but accepts Kit's help once he's gotten involved following some complications.
----
* AFriendInNeed: Kit took him in as he was wounded fighting [[spoiler:Torque]] and practically homeless on Earth.
* BadassCape: His Advent Beast can attach to him in rider suit to form this.
* BadassBiker: Naturally.
* BatOutOfHell: The overall malice depends on your allegiance.
%%* BigBrotherMentor: To Kit.
* BigBrotherInstinct:
** To [[spoiler:Adam before his betrayal]].
** Starts feeling this way for Kit through the early part of the story.
* BreakTheBadass: [[spoiler:Comes close to this when Chris sacrifices himself to save him. Losing Kase and Kit pushes him over DespairEventHorizon]].
* BondCreature: Black Wing the bat, Advent Beast of the Wing Knight deck. Its form in Survive Mode is called Black Raider.
* TheChainsOfCommanding: Len mentions he wasn't that high on the chain of command with the original Ventaran Riders, now he finds himself leading the resistance against Xaviax on Earth.
* CloakOfDefense: His Guard Vent summons a cape to shield him from attacks.
* CoolBike: He has 4: his [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kawasaki_ZX-14 Kawasaki ZX-14]] (which transforms into his Wing Cycle), his Adventcycle, and Black Wing turns into one for his survive mode Final Vent.
* CoolSword: His rapier, which doubles as his card-slot. Also his Sword Vent.
* CombatPragmatist: Before the Cho brothers can transform, Len snatches their Advent Decks before proceeding to kick ass without ever transforming.
* DarkIsNotEvil: A bat themed rider, who mostly wears black and yet he is one of the heroes. It also depends on your allegience. He is fairly amiable to people he trusts and fairly strict or even downright terrifying to people he does not.
* DeadpanSnarker: Some of his reactions cross into this.
-->'''Len:''' ''[to Kit, very much angry]'' You are [[TitleDrop Kamen Rider Dragon Knight]] now. Happy?
* DespairEventHorizon: After a string of events causes [[spoiler: him to be the only rider standing - ''again'' - and with Xaviax's plans only delayed and in possesion of the Dragon Knight deck]]. He is left as EmptyShell [[spoiler: until Michelle delivers a HopeSpot]].
* {{Deuteragonist}}: Much like his source counterpart in ''Ryuki''. Len is the second most important character in the series.
* FireForgedFriends: Has a tendency to create this kind of bond with people he trusts. Kit and [[spoiler: Adam]] being a notable example.
* FriendshipMoment: Mentioned above. Len got severely hurt surviving Torque's Final Vent and couldn't go to hospital for obvious reason and without any place of his own, Kit and Maya brought him to Kit's flat. [[spoiler: It was shortly after Kit realized that Torque tricked him into believing that Len was working for Xaviax and nearly got both of them vented.]]
* HeartbrokenBadass: Following [[spoiler:Kase being vented]]. He expresses this by RoaringRampageOfRevenge against [[spoiler: Strike]].
* ItsPersonal: When [[spoiler:Kase was vented by Strike]].
* IDidWhatIHadToDo: How he feels about having to vent the Earth Riders to get the Advent Decks back.
* IntergenerationalFriendship: [[spoiler:His friendship with basically anyone outside the Ventaran riders. Len looks 20-something, but he is actually in his 80s due to spending decades in suspended animation.]]
* LastOfHisKind: Originally thought to be one until [[spoiler:Kase]] and later [[spoiler:Master Eubulon]] is introduced to the story.
* LimitedWardrobe: Wears nearly the same outfit all the time. Justified as he is homeless on Earth.
* TheMenInBlack: Literally so. He is never seen wearing anything else but black.
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge: [[spoiler:Once Kase is vented, Len cuts the crap and goes right for the throat. [[TheDragon Strike]] is practically [[OhCrap crapping his pants in fear]] at that point.]]
* SoleSurvivor: At first he thinks he's this, since there's no other known Ventaran Riders that made it out alive from Xaviax's invasion of Ventara. [[spoiler:Kase's appearance and later Eubulon's would [[SubvertedTrope subvert]] this.]]
** Played straight again at the end of the Rider War arc, [[spoiler:as he's the last Rider standing after Kase, Kit, and all the Earth Riders were vented.]]
* SugarAndIcePersonality: As many a second rider, he comes across as aloof to strangers, but cares about those close to him greatly.
* SupportingLeader: As the more experienced fighter, who actually knows what's going on.
* SympathyForTheDevil: Despite his grudge against Adam, he can’t help but wonder if his betrayal was due the fact that being stuck as a Kamen Rider meant his Advent Deck [[TheCallKnowsWhereYouLive would always alert him to monster attacks]] [[CantRefuseTheCallAnymore making him unable to ignore them]]. He even says that while Adam was a good fighter, he wasn’t ready to make it his life.
* TookALevelInKindness: Once the Ventaran Riders start returning, Len becomes a bit more open and livelier, more so once Kit and Kase return. It can be assumed that this was his personality before the series began. Subverted with Adam, there's no love lost to the guy that betrayed him and the riders in the first place.
* TranquilFury: In #7. He kept an emotionless expression, but the stunning barehanded beatdown handed to two mirror monsters betrayed the feelings going on inside.
* YouAreNotAlone: When he and Kit finally start working together. Also, [[spoiler:when he becomes the last Rider standing again]] Maya gives him a hug.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Richie Preston/Kamen Rider Incisor]]
!! Richie Preston/Kamen Rider Incisor
!!! Portrayed by: Creator/TonyMoras, Voiced by: Creator/SamRiegel, Creator/HirokiTakahashi (Japanese dub)
->''[[CatchPhrase This is so uncool.]]''
\
A wealthy preppie cut off from his family fortune and told to get a job, he's offered a million-dollar paycheck for each defeated Rider.
----
* BondCreature: Volcancer the crab, Advent Beast of the Incisor deck.
* BountyHunter: He's promised a million bucks for each Rider he vanquishes.
* BreakTheHaughty: The novel reveals he was kicked out of his house after being disowned and barely managed to land a minimum wage job at a parking lot. On the other hand, it made him a better person in such a way that Kit has hard time believing it's him upon their meeting.
* CharacterDevelopment: He has become a much nicer and humbler person in the year after the main story. He genuinely cares about his friends and willingly returns to fight as a Kamen Rider so he could protect them from mirror monsters.
* CatchPhrase: "This is so uncool!". [[spoiler:Also his last words.]]
* FairWeatherFriend[=s=]: They were only interested in money, so they all left once his father disowned him.
* GiantEnemyCrab: His Advent Beast, Volcancer.
* HeelFaceTurn: In the novel, he turns into a much better person, as he now genuinely cares about his friends and only returns as Incisor so that he could protect them from the now-feral mirror monsters. Even Kit is in disbelief of his personality change when he met Richie again.
* {{Jerkass}}: Spoiled rich kid prone to womanizing and whining. That's not even starting with him being completely willing to assault someone just for a paycheck. Not knowing that riders can be vented doesn't help his image very much.
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: The novel reveals that he knew his friends are only about money, but got involved with them anyway because he didn't want to be alone. They all left him after he was disowned.
* LockedOutOfTheLoop: He doesn't know anything about what's going on, Xaviax's plans or being vented. That is ultimately his fate.
* MeaningfulName: ''Richie'' the rich kid.
* OnlyInItForTheMoney: Becoming rich again is his only reason for being a Kamen Rider.
* RefusalOfTheCall: He refuses to become Incisor again in the novel. He goes back on his word later and joins the No Men so he could protect his friends and do the right thing.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: Like Scissors, while he only appeared in a few episodes, seeing him get vented showed Kit how dangerous being a Kamen Rider is.
* SpoiledBrat: Why his father disowned him.
* StarterVillain: First of the villainous riders to appear.
* PunchClockVillain: He doesn't know about Xaviax's master plan or the motives of the opposing Kamen Riders, all he wants in the end is his paycheck.
* UpperClassTwit: He used to be one before his father disowned him.
* WeHardlyKnewYe: The first rider to be vented.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Drew Lansing/Kamen Rider Torque]]
!! Drew Lansing/Kamen Rider Torque
!!! Portrayed by: Creator/ChristopherFoley, Voiced by: Creator/PeterDoyle (video game), Creator/KojiYusa (Japanese dub)
->''I always keep an ace up my sleeve.''
\
A scam artist and one of the few on Xaviax's side to be aware of his true plans, recruited to "convince a group of men to wage an all-out war". Tries to turn the various Riders against each other for his own benefit, with... mixed results.
----
* AbledInTheAdaptation: Kitaoka has terminal cancer and only had about a year before he succumbs to it. Drew is in good health for the entirety of the show.
* AdaptationalVillainy: Zolda, while not the most heroic of riders, was ultimately an AntiHero. [[AntiVillain Torque, on the other hand]]...
* AdaptationalWimp: He lasts far less than his Ryuki counterpart in the story and actually gets defeated and vented by Strike. Zolda was one of the final Riders in Ryuki and could hold his own well against Ouja (though he was still outclassed by him) and came close to killing him and several Riders in many occassions.
* AlphaStrike: His Final Vent.
* AwesomeButImpractical: His Final Vent qualifies as MoreDakka, but takes time to load during which he has to stand still. [[spoiler: It plays a role in him getting vented]].
* {{BFG}}: His deck is ''loaded'' with these!
* [[BitchInSheepsClothing Bitch in Ox’s Clothing]]: Initially appears as Kits’s true friend while presenting Wing Knight as Xaviax’s dragon. Then Kit realises that all the Riders Xaviax recruits [[ExplainExplainOhCrap are after Wing Knight.]]
* BondCreature: Magnugiga the ox, Advent Beast of the Torque deck.
* BoxedCrook: ''2World 1Hearts'' has him pulled out of prison on something like probation because No Men can't be choosy over who they recruit to deal with the crisis.
* BrutishBulls: His main theme.
* TheChessmaster: He tries to be, but things don't always work out the way he would want them.
* ConMan: Referred to as this by Strike, and later Maya, [[spoiler:after he is vented]]. His origin flashbacks revealed that prior to the series, he made a living [[HonestJohnsDealership trying to sell fake multi-purpose cellphones]]. That is, until the cops showed up at his door, leading to his recruitment by Xaviax.
* CryingWolf: Unsuprisingly, Kit refuses to believe him again without a single second thought after what he pulled earlier.
* DemotedToExtra: [[spoiler:Torque is vented/killed much earlier than Zolda, as Torque is among the first 4 to be vented while Zolda is among the ''final'' 4 survivors of the Rider War and could be considered the {{Tritagonist}} of ''Ryuki''.]]
* MoreDakka: Expectable from {{BFG}} using rider. His Final Vent turns Magnugiga into one load of cannons that all shoot at the same time. [[Series/KamenRiderRyuki Ryuki]] named it ''End Of The World''.
* OhCrap: When he hears that [[spoiler:Maya knows he lied]], he has a tiny one he quickly covers from.
* PowerFist: His Strike Vent. It's not used by either him or [[Series/KamenRiderRyuki Zolda]], though.
* SmallNameBigEgo: Overestimates his abilities, to say the least.
* SmugSnake: He is very sure of himself and his abilities to manipulate people. It came back to bite him in the rear later on.
* TheStarscream: [[spoiler:Unfortunately for him, Xaviax seems to have learned from [[Franchise/{{Transformers}} Megatron's]] mistakes...]]
* VillainousBreakdown: [[spoiler:Related to his ultimate fate as rider mentioned above. He was smug about most things up until Strike started to hunt him. He fought for survival, but got more and more desperate through the fight until he actually started to plead for mercy.]]
* YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness: [[spoiler:He decided to trick Xaviax. Not humored, the warlord decided to get rid of him.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Grant Stanley/Kamen Rider Camo]]
!! Grant Stanley/Kamen Rider Camo
!!! Portrayed by: Creator/ChristopherBabers, Voiced by: Creator/KenjiMatsuda (Japanese dub)
-> ''I didn't come here to learn. I came here to win.''
\
Believes he was hired by a {{Private Military Contractor|s}}, and fights for the opportunity to become "the best fighter on two worlds". While specifically sent after Wing Knight, he messes up both Xaviax's and Drew's plans by picking fights with the other Riders as well, not wanting them to steal his glory.
----
* AdaptationalWimp: His Ryuki counterpart was literally the main villain of a movie special, and killed Kamen Rider Raia. Camo gets vented the next episode after his introduction, gets put down easily by Torque and doesn't even gets to use his final vent.
* BloodKnight: He does not have any qualms about cheating to win and loves fighting. Being recruited under the pretense of fighting to be the champion of two worlds sure fits him. This is further emphasized in ''2World 1Hearts'' where he becomes Camo again because fighting in MMA matches doesn't satisfy him.
* BondCreature: Biogreeza the chameleon, Advent Beast of the Camo deck. Unlike his ''Ryuki'' counterpart, Verde, he did not use it. Presumably, this is due to the fact that [[spoiler: it's main appearance had Verde kill Raia, whose counterpart on this show didn't even show up until after Grant was vented]].
* CombatPragmatist: He's not above fighting dirty if it means winning.
* DeceptiveDisciple: To his fighting master, whom he studied under only so he could become ''the man who beat the master''.
* DemotedToExtra: The Ryuki version of Camo was the BigBad of ''13 Riders'' movie and [[spoiler:killed Kamen Rider Raia and Kamen Rider Knight. Here he gets vented the next episode after being introduced.]]
* GlorySeeker: His sole reason for becoming a rider.
* HiddenDepths: It's hinted that he is not as bad as he looks like, but that's all.
* {{Hypocrite}}: Accuses Drew of cheating during their fight when he is actually a cheater himself.
* PowerCopying: While he has a Copy Vent card (like Verde) in his deck, he never used it.
* ScaryBlackMan: As a CombatPragmatist and BloodKnight.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: Like Incisor he doesn't last long, but his sudden appearance messes up Drew's plan for tricking Kit into joining Xaviax. His defeat also shows Brad what he has gotten into in a similar way to how Richie's defeat was for Kit.
* WeHardlyKnewYe: [[spoiler:He is vented the next episode after his introduction. He doesn't get much further in the novel either.]]

[[folder: James Trademore/Kamen Rider Strike]]
!! James "JTC" Trademore/Kamen Rider Strike
!!! Portrayed by: Creator/ScottBailey, Voiced by: Creator/TomokazuSugita (Japanese dub)
->''[[IronicEcho So, experts, how'd it go?]]''
\
A wanted hacker well-known in paranormal blog circles as "JTC". Xaviax broke him out of jail, and he uses his new mirror-warping ability to get at any classified secret he wants. He uses his reputation to feed information to Maya and "help" along her own Kamen Rider investigation (and thereby manipulate Kit). As a Rider, he's Xaviax's right-hand man.
----
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: Downplayed -- he's still a villain and keeps the role of TheDreaded, but nowhere near as vile as Ouja was, at least personally.
* AdaptationalVillainy: Strike works directly with the BigBad instead of being an UnwittingPawn for the BigBad to do the killings. In addition, kill count wise, he vented/killed one more Rider than Asakura, giving him a kill count of five[[note]]Thrust, Torque, Sting, Axe, Siren[[/note]] compared to Asakura's four[[note]]Gai, Raia, Imperer, Goro!Zolda[[/note]].
* BondCreature: Venosnaker the cobra, Advent Beast of the Strike deck. It merged with Metalgelas and Evildiver into Cerebeast the chimera after he used the Unite Vent.
* CharacterTic: JTC keeps Asakura's neck crack, adding a sickening cracking noise to it. The Japanese dub also gave it a more noticeable noise.
* ConspiracyTheorist: Was one until Xaviax proved him right.
* CurbStompBattle: Most of his fights are one-sided on his favor. In his introduction, he easily overpowers and vents Thrust (who was holding his own against Dragon Knight, Wing Knight and Sting), hunts down and basically terrorizes Torque before venting him without trouble, easily stomps Chris anytime they fight before venting him, beats up Axe and later vents him when Xaviax orders him to get rid of him and almost every fight he had with Kit ended with him winning or Kit barely surviving. However, he gets to be on the receiving end of this with a furious Wing Knight in Survive Mode completely crushes and vents him.
* DeadpanSnarker: He is actually pretty funny with some of his snarks despite the fact that he usually uses them to mock his opponents' futile attempts to fight him.
* TheDragon: To Xaviax's BigBad.
* EvilVirtues: He is the only Kamen Rider completely loyal to Xaviax. It's literally his only good feature.
* FallenHero: In Maya and Trent's eyes. It may depend on interpretation. He certainly doesn't agree on that.
* FusionDance: His Unite Vent.
* HeroKiller: [[spoiler:While Torque was undoubtedly an AssholeVictim and Axe was more of an AlasPoorVillain at best, Sting and Siren, two of the most unambiguously heroic Riders, are sent to the Void by his hands. Thrust, interestingly enough, was disposed of so he ''wouldn't'' become one, making Strike effectively a Pre-Hero Killer.]]
* HiddenDepths: Related to his PetTheDog moment below. He may have been better at some point of time until events jaded him to the point he didn't care about anything but his own survival.
** ''2World 1Hearts'' reveals that he really does have a brother, who was unlawfully imprisoned. [[BrokenPedestal Trent]] theorizes that this might have acted as a StartOfDarkness for JTC.
* IFightForTheStrongestSide: Joined Xaviax because he believed Xaviax's forces had the best chance of winning the war. In the video game, his story mode has him perform a HeelFaceTurn because he comes to believe the Riders side is stronger (though the story mode still pits him against the good guys).
* IronicEcho: He repeats Xaviax's comment about the Cho Brothers when he sends them after Wing Knight.
-->'''James:''' Enthusiastic, but not very bright.
* {{Irony}}: Remember how in ''Ryuki'', Asakura in the end fails to kill the Riders that he deliberately wanted to kill (Kitaoka, Tojo, and Shinji)? Well in ''Dragon Knight'', JTC is the one who vented Kitaoka and Tojo's counterpart Drew and Danny respectively.
** He ends up venting [[spoiler: Siren]], whose ''Ryuki'' counterpart, [[spoiler: Femme]], killed his Ryuki Counterpart, Ouja, in the ''Episode [=FINAL=]'' movie.
* KickTheDog: He mocks Chris' determination to be a hero and his attempts to fight him are definitely in this territory because Chris is a depressed [[TheWoobie woobie]].
* PetTheDog: He tries to talk Danny out of venting Kit, because that would mean messing up Xaviax's plan. Then he would have to vent Danny. Why JTC did this when he had never shown a moment of remorse or hesitation over having to vent anyone is unclear.
** ''2World 1Hearts'' reveals that he was honest about both having a brother and losing him, so he may have pitied Danny.
* TheQuisling: He truly believes resistance against Xaviax's invasion is a lost cause and sided with him out of self-preservation. Maya angrily tells Trent that since he's proven himself to be one of the strongest Riders, he ''could'' have easily turned the tides in the heroes' favor.
* SanityHasAdvantages: JTC's just as strong and intelligent as his counterpart Asakura and did not have Asakura's psychopatic tendencies, making him a ''highly'' effective and threatening second-in-command for Xaviax.
* SmugSuper: Very appropriate due to his Advent Beast being a cobra and himself being very arrogant towards almost everybody. However, he is one of the strongest Riders on Earth, being on par with the veteran Ventaran Riders like Wing Knight and Siren, has the biggest kill count of the entire series and possesses three mirror monsters that he can fuse and command. It takes a Wing Knight in survive mode to finally put him down.
* TokenCompetentMinion: [[TheDragon Kamen Rider Strike]] is easily Xaviax's most reliable and efficient henchman, [[HeroKiller having vented two heroic Riders]] [[spoiler:before he was taken out himself by Ren]]. By contrast, Xaviax's other minions are either untrustworthy (Torque), reluctant (Thrust), Stupid (Axe and Spear) or just plain useless (Camo and Incisor).
* VillainousFriendship: With Xaviax, he's the most loyal to him and was somewhat worried about him when he was about to possess Kamen Rider Wrath's body.
* VillainsWantMercy: [[spoiler:When Wing Knight goes on a RoaringRampageOfRevenge in [[SuperMode Survive Mode]] on him after he vents Siren, Strike resorts to begging for mercy due to how completely Wing Knight is [[CurbstompBattle curbstomping him]].]]

!! Brad Barrett/Kamen Rider Thrust
!!! Portrayed by: Creator/KeithStone, Voiced by: Creator/ShoumaYamamoto (Japanese dub)
->''[[CatchPhrase Brad Barrett always wins.]]''
\
A motocross pro that Xaviax had framed and blacklisted for sabotaging another competitor; he is convinced that he must win in "Battle Club" in order to get the proof that will clear him. He's soon set straight, but that changes nothing - Xaviax is still blackmailing him.
----
* AdaptationalHeroism: Brad is a selfish brute who only cares about winning and regaining his lost reputation but when he sees Camo Vented he quits fighting Wing Knight and walks off showing he has some decency to the point the heroes hope they can recruit him to their side, [[spoiler:something Xaviax thought was a genuine possibility leading to Strike Venting him]]. His Japanese counterpart meanwhile, was a manipulative sociopath who would make others fight to the death for his own amusement, saw the entire Rider War as a game and thought a serial killer becoming a Rider would be an entertaining addition to said game.
* AdaptationalDumbass: Zigzagged. While Brad isn't the dumbest Kamen Rider around, he's not the manipulative hacker his Ryuki counterpart was. On the flip side however he doesn't seem the type to think a serial killer joining the Rider conflict would be fun.
* ArrogantKungFuGuy: He is ill tempered, brash, but ultimately not as bad as other Earth riders.
* BadassBiker: He used to be successful pro racer.
* BadassBoast: "Brad Barrett always wins!"
* TheBigGuy: As Thrust, he has plenty of raw power to mow down monsters without any problems.
* BondCreature: Metalgelas the rhino, Advent Beast of the Thrust deck.
* ClearMyName: His ultimate goal.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: The minute he sees Camo get vented, he bails on his fight with Len. The only thing that keeps him working for Xaviax is the dirt he has on him.
* FightClubbing: What he thinks he's doing at first. Grant's defeat at Drew's hands snaps him out of this.
* HumanShield: [[spoiler:Much like Jun, he was on the receiving end of this thanks to Strike.]]
* MadnessMantra: "Brad Barrett always wins!" becomes this in the Japanese dub. [[spoiler:It's also the last words he spoke in both dubs before vanishing away after Strike vented him.]]
* NominalVillain: Brad is a motocross racer who was framed and blacklisted for sabotaging another racer by [[BigBad Xaviax]]. Xaviax convinces Brad to enter and win his "Battle Club" in order to get the evidence that will clear him but is horrified when he sees Kamen Rider Camo get vented (the series' stand-in for death), as he didn't believe anyone would be truly hurt. Despite this, Brad continues serving Xaxiax due to the dirt the villain has on him, even though it is clear he finds the entire situation appalling. [[spoiler:He is vented by [[TheDragon Kamen Rider Strike]] who feared that Brad would eventually side with the heroes.]]
* RefusalOfTheCall: He initially refuses to go back to fighting. His determination doesn't last very long in this case.
* PowerFist: His Strike Vent, a rhino head with prolonged horn equipped to his right hand.
* RhinoRampage: He is contracted to Metalgelas the rhino.
* SixthRanger: Subverted. [[spoiler: Kit, Len, and Chris all know Brad isn't a bad guy and try desperately to sway him to their cause, but Xaviax orders Strike to terminate him because he feared it ''was'' only a matter of time before he defected.]]

[[folder: Chris Ramirez/Kamen Rider Sting]]
!! Christopher "Chris" Ramirez/Kamen Rider Sting
!!! Portrayed by: Creator/MichaelCardelle, Voiced by: Creator/HiroshiKamiya (Japanese dub)
->''I only want to serve my country, sir.''
\
He was raised to be [[MilitaryBrat fifth-generation]] [[SemperFi US Marine]] until getting a medical discharge for advanced asthma. Still desiring to serve his country, he was recruited by a federal agent to help fight the alien invaders -- unaware that he was actually fighting ''for'' the aliens. The Knights are able to correct him as to who the bad guys are, but unfortunately, asthma and {{Toku}} superheroics don't mix...
----
* AdaptationalVillainy: Downplayed and ultimately [[SubvertedTrope subverted]]. He initially starts off as someone who antagonizes the heroes, but that's only because Chris was manipulated by Xaviax to do his evil deeds. Once he finds out that he was manipulated, he immediately switched sides and proved himself to be just as nice as Tezuka is.
* BondCreature: Evildiver the stingray, Advent Beast of the Sting deck.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Just like Tezuka, Chris' a good guy even though most of his arsenal starts with "evil" on their name.
* FlyingSeafoodSpecial: His Advent Beast, a stingray.
* TheHeart: The only one of Xaviax's riders who is simply a [[NiceGuy good person]] and defects as soon as he knows what's going on. Strike [[KickTheDog mocks]] him for it.
--> ''I've got to hand it to you, brother. You do have heart, just no lungs.''
* HeelFaceTurn: After finding out that he was manipulated by Xaviax.
* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler:How he was vented. Kit and Len's reaction is justifiedly heartbroken.]]
* IncurableCoughOfDeath: A result of his asthma.
* InSeriesNickname: "The Hero Of Gramercy Heights."
* TheLoad: Chris believes himself to be this because his asthma holds him back. Len and Maya try to convince him otherwise. They are more successful than [[OpenMouthInsertFoot Kit]].
* MilitaryBrat: His ancestors were all Marines so he is logically raised to be one too. Not being able to continue family tradition reasonably causes him great angst.
* PowerCopying: His Copy Vent.
* RealMenWearPink: Technically, it's magenta. He is not [[Series/KamenRiderDecade Decade]] or [[Series/KamenRiderExAid Ex-Aid]].
* RefusalOfTheCall: In the novel. He is reluctant to let go of his dream and return as Kamen Rider Sting. He changes his mind after some talking to.
* SemperFi: He ''breathes'' this. [[spoiler:Also his last words.]]
* SixthRanger: [[spoiler:Briefly.]] He sees himself as this and TheLoad.
* WellDoneSonGuy: He wants to make his father proud and carry on family's military tradition, but his asthma kept that from happening.

!! Danny and Albert Cho/Kamen Rider Axe and Spear
!!! Portrayed by: Creator/MikeMoh & Creator/TonySano, Voiced by: Creator/TakahiroSakurai & Creator/RyotaMurai (Japanese dub)
->''Nobody messes with my brother.''
\
Two-bit crooks looking for a big score. Xaviax posed as a crime boss to recruit them for "the biggest heist in the history of Earth". [[spoiler:After Albert gets vented, Danny becomes dead-set on avenging him.]]
----
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: Downplayed in Danny's case. He's still a villainous Rider much like his counterpart Tojo and he did work for the BigBad directly [[spoiler:at least at first]], but Danny [[spoiler:even after he became dead-set in avenging Albert]] is still far less unhinged than Tojo when taking into consideration the stuffs that Tojo had [[ChronicBackstabbingDisorder commi]][[KillTheOnesYouLove tted]] in ''Ryuki''.
* AdaptationalVillainy: While Sano did commit some villainous acts, he's ultimately a neutral Rider whose side aligns to whoever is able to give him the best deal possible and saved Tojo out of pity when he found out that Tojo had a near brush with death. Albert aligns himself with the BigBad and actively antagonizes the heroes even after being told to not do so.
* AssholeVictim: [[spoiler:Albert for Kit, Danny for James. Worth noting that out of all the Riders he had eliminated by that point, [[PetTheDog Danny was the only one he had felt guilty about venting.]]]]
* BloodKnight: After getting their Rider powers. This is best exemplified during the one time they ganged up on Kit despite being ordered not to by Xaviax.
* BondCreature: Destwilder the tiger of Axe deck and Gigazelle the gazelle of Spear deck, respectively.
* CurbStompBattle: Len makes a joke out of the Cho's when they attempt to ambush him. They don't even get to transform.
* DeathByIrony: [[spoiler:The Cho's actively mocked Kit about Chris after Sting was vented. Albert was vented after the Cho's mocked Kit one too many times and [[UnstoppableRage lost it]], resulting in Kit using his Final Vent on Albert out of revenge for Chris.]]
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Despite being a pair of jerkish thieves they really care about each other.
* GreatWhiteFeline: Axe's armor and Advent Beast are based on a white tiger. Axe is also the older of the two brothers and physically the strongest in Rider form.
* {{Jerkass}}: Even more than Sano at his worst. They ganged up on Kit for little to no reason even though they were ordered not to by Xaviax among other things.
* KickTheDog: The brothers are very quick to mock the state of Kit's father and [[spoiler:the recently-vented Sting]] quite viciously. Kit does NOT take this well, [[spoiler:as Spear found out the hard way the next episode]]. [[{{Irony}} Guess who loses a loved one next?]]
* NonStandardCharacterDesign: Like Imperer, Spear is this as his armor colors do not match Gigazelle's colors. Spear's Rider Armor primary color is brown, while Gigazelle's primary color is purple.
* PantheraAwesome: Axe with his Advent Beast, Destwilder the tiger.
* RelatedInTheAdaptation: Their respective ''Ryuki'' counterparts Tojo and Sano did become allies on a few occasions, but for the most part they are not even partners in crime.
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge:
** [[spoiler: Axe, after Kit vents his brother.]]
** Both of them do this in their story line of the video game because the other is vented. However, unlike the show, the target is Xaviax.
* SiblingTeam: They fight in sync with each other as the two of them ganging up on Kit shows well enough.
* SiblingYinYang: Danny is the stoic big brother to the younger hotblooded Albert. They both slide towards StupidEvil, though.
* TheyCallHimSword: Both of them, obviously.
* ThisIsADrill: Spear's Spin Vent.
* WolverineClaws: Axe's Strike Vent.
* ZergRush: Spear's Final Vent.

To the surprise of everyone, she's another survivor of Ventara. She's not happy with Kit's involvement at first, but she comes around (and Len wasn't much better at the start anyway).
----
Tropes associated with Kase/Kamen Rider Siren:
* ActionGirl: Of course.
* AffirmativeActionGirl: She is one of the best fighters among the Ventaran Riders. As Xaviax himself puts it:
-->'''JTC:''' Another Ventaran Kamen Rider? She as good as Wing Knight?
-->'''Xaviax:''' [[MoreDeadlyThanTheMale Maybe better.]]
* [[ArrogantKungFuGuy Arrogant Kung Fu Gal]]: To people she doesn't trust and/or doesn't think are worthy of being riders. She is actually quit amiable if she thinks you deserve it, though.
* AscendedExtra: Her counterpart in ''Ryuki'' only appeared in the movie and was killed off rather unceremoniously. Here, she plays a much bigger role.
%%* BadassBiker: Naturally. Kamen ''Rider'', duh.
* BadassCape: She has one attached to her shoulders in a similar manner to Wing Knight. Unlike Wing Knight's cape (which requires him to use Guard Vent or to be in Survive mode), her cape is permanent.
* BattleCouple: She makes good fighter duo with Len after all.
* BondCreature: Blancwing the swan, Advent Beast of the Siren deck.
* CoolSword: Her weapon, a rapier that also serves as her card reader.
* DeathByIrony: Meta example: She was vented by Strike. In ''Ryuki'', her Japanese counterpart Femme is the one who killed Ouja in the ''Episode Final'' movie. [[SparedByAdaptation She got better though]].
* DistaffCounterpart: To Wing Knight. They are both fighters (among Ventaran's best), BadassBiker[=s=], their cards readers also acts as a sword, and utilize SugarAndIcePersonality (cold on the outside and actually fairly nice on the inside). She also treated Kit the same as Len did early on.
* SixthRanger: To Kit and Len after she comes in and replaces Chris as the third rider in their team. Kit treats her like a come-lately intruder because she looks down on him and hogs all Len's attention for herself.
* TheSmurfettePrinciple: Siren is the only female Rider out of 12.
* SwansASwimming: Both her motif and her Advent Beast.
* TakeUpMySword: [[spoiler:Maya temporarily takes the reins as Kamen Rider Siren while Kase is in the Advent Void and recovering after being pulled out.]]

\
A construction worker and one of Xaviax's kidnapping victims, and like the rest was drained of energy and put into a catatonic state. Xaviax can control his body to take part in the fight directly.
----
* AdaptationalBadass: On one hand, Wrath is far more skilled as a fighter than Odin, as Wrath relies on his hand-to-hand combat skills (both with the Sword Vent and without it) more often than using the infamous TeleportSpam.
** This is noticeable when you compared Wrath's fight in episode 31 (which features ''Ryuki'' StockFootage) compared to other fights that feature Wrath (all of them uses entirely original footage). Original footage of Wrath uses the teleportation powers just five times (the most being 3 times in episode 27), while the Odin StockFootage that made it to ''Dragon Knight'' has him uses the teleportation powers ''twelve'' times.
* AdaptationExpansion: Outside of ''Ryuki'''s Platform/PlayStation game, Odin's full version of the Final Vent is never seen until Wrath does it in episode 31.
* AdaptationalWimp: On the other hand, while he is still the strongest Rider in ''KRDK'', because Wrath isn't designed to be [[StoryBreakerPower ludicrously overpowered]] like Odin, Wrath's fighting prowess is often matched by the more experienced Wing Knight and Siren, unlike Odin who is so overpowered compared to all the other Riders in ''Ryuki'' that every fight that Odin took part is a CurbStompBattle for Odin, with only a miracle (Shiro finally realizing the Rider War is useless) stopping Odin from winning outright.
* AllThereInTheManual: Wrath's real name was never directly said in the series, but is found in official supplementary material along with his backstory.
* BadassArmFold: Just like his Ryuki counterpart, Odin. Given that he is possessed by [[SmugSnake Xaviax]], it fits.
* BondCreature: Goldphoenix the phoenix, Advent Beast of the Wrath deck.
* DemonicPossession: Xaviax controls Vic's body directly.
* DualWielding: His Sword Vent.
* FlatCharacter: Well, [[JustifiedTrope not a whole lot of characterization is available when you're comatose and possessed.]]
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: In addition to venting [[spoiler:Kit]], his Final Vent also vented ''himself''.
* TheMentor: The original Wrath was this to Len. Xaviax wastes no time toying with him about it.
* NonStandardCharacterDesign: A small detail with his V-Buckle, as Wrath's the only one with a gold-colored one. This is shared with Odin as well.
* ThePhoenix: His Advent Beast.
* SecretWeapon: Xaviax describes him as such.
-->'''Xaviax:''' I kept one Kamen Rider back...for emergencies.
* SuicideAttack: ''Dragon Knight'' reveals Odin's Final Vent as this when Wrath performs it in episode 31.
* SwordDrag: A habit of his is to scrape his swords against each other, which creates SwordSparks for added badass effect.
* TeleportSpam: Uses this to aid himself in battle. Unlike Odin however, he didn't take full advantage of this, as Wrath relied on his hand-to-hand combat skill more than fully abusing the teleportation powers.
* TwoVoicesOneCharacter: InUniverse-example in the Japanese dub, as [[spoiler:Xaviax can switch between Vic's voice and his own at will.]]

----
* BeingEvilSucks: Is clearly unhappy with how things turned out.
* DidntThinkThisThrough: According to Len and Eubulon [[spoiler:(actually Xaviax in disguise)]], while Adam was a good fighter, and willingly volunteered to be a Kamen Rider, he apparently didn’t consider the possibility that his Advent Beast link would be forever.
* DragonKnight: [[CaptainObvious Of course]].
* EarnYourHappyEnding: He is given a normal life with Sarah after the final battle against Xaviax because he did the right thing in the end.
%%* EvilFormerFriend: To Ventaran Riders, Len especially.
* EvilTwin: His alignment is more complicated that just 'evil', but is mostly considered this to Kit anyway as his mirror twin.
* TheFarmerAndTheViper: Ventaran Riders were willing to cut him some slack, even if very begrudgingly, and it nearly came to bite them in their collective rears. He had to betray them again and they would not know until it was too late if he didn't break down and spill the beans.
* IJustWantToBeNormal: The cause of everything. He wanted to live a normal life even before Sarah came in. It wasn't very hard for Xaviax to take advantage of his desperation.
* KillItWithFire: His Strike Vent and Final Vent.
* LoveMakesYouEvil: He wanted to end his career as a Rider to be with a girl he loved. Unfortunately, Xaviax is pretty good at using love as a weapon.
* MirrorCharacter: For Kit. Both were manipulated by Xaviax through someone close to them. Neither of them wanted to be a rider.
* SuicideByCop: Unable to bring himself to [[spoiler: Vent Len despite having a clear shot]], he pleads for the others to vent him. They don't.
* TheCallKnowsWhereYouLive: His main gripe with being a Kamen Rider. [[IJustWantToBeNormal He just wants a normal life]].

* AdaptationalHeroism: The majority of them compared to their Ryuki counterparts most of whom were terrible or selfish people who fought for themselves. The Ventaran Kamen Riders all volunteered to protect their world, [[AdaptationalVillainy the exception being Adam.]]
* AlternateSelf: [[invoked]]Although they and their Earth clones never met.
* BackForTheFinale: Everyone but Len, Price, Chance and Hunt. Kase recovers from her stint in Advent Void and others are pulled out of the Advent Void right into the last battle with Xaviax.
* GoodCounterpart: They have similar personalities like their Earth twins but with some more or less minor differences.
* TrueCompanions: What little is seen of their interaction suggests this.
* LastEpisodeNewCharacter: While the existence of other Ventaran Riders [[note]] Ian, Van, Cam, Quin, Chase, Nolan[[/note]] besides Adam, Len, Kase, Chance, Pryce and Hunt is known, they appear only in the last battle against Xaviax in the second to last episode. 434* EvilTwin: The most notable example of dissonance between Earth rider and Ventaran rider. Price is disgusted after getting to know his mirror twin and saddened that Maya can't stand his appearance because of how he hurt her.
* RelationshipUpgrade: He and Maya become OfficialCouple through the timeskip between the TV continuity and the novel.
* SheepInSheepsClothing: He was initially suspected to be very much like JTC, but he is proven to be very different from him.
* ShipTease: His last scene in the [[Recap/KamenRiderDragonKnightEp40ADragonsTale last episode]] has him hold hands with Maya.

* SuperiorSuccessor: Inverted. Chance isn't anywhere near the methodical fighter Drew is, preferring to either directly rush into the fray or only pelt enemies from afar with his Shoot Vent. His disinterest in mobility results in him being pinned down by monsters most of the time.
* TheGadfly: He likes to poke people, namely Price. It's all in good faith and nobody really minds.

* TheCynic: He doesn't believe that Adam had fully reformed. [[spoiler:He's right.]]
* InformedLoner: His anti-social tendencies do not prevent him from assisting his allies. His limited screen time implies that he is simply not one to chitchat or hang out with others.
* TheStoic: Is a quiet loner in contrast to the loud bully his Earth twin is.

[[folder: General Xaviax]]
!! General Xaviax
!!! Portrayed by: Creator/WilliamOLeary, Voiced by: Creator/KyleHebert (video game), Creator/HochuOtsuka (Japanese dub)
\
The BigBad, who is quietly abducting people one by one, until he can create a genetic database big enough to do mass kidnappings and enslave the human race. Something of a MasterOfDisguise; while he only has one human form, he's used it to pose as a lawyer, a mercenary, a federal agent, and so on. He's also transformed into Eubulon's human form and even duplicated his Kamen Rider armor, right down to the cards he uses.
----
Tropes associated with General Xaviax:
* AdaptationalBadass: Shiro Kanzaki was the mastermind of the Rider War, but did little to no combat himself, preferring to use the various Odin users and unaffiliated Mirror Monsters to do his bidding. Xaviax is not only a capable fighter, but isn't afraid to get his hands dirty, even taking control of Wrath's user directly in order to get rid of Kit, Len, and Kase.
* AdaptationalVillainy: Shiro Kanzaki may have done horrific things, but in the end all he wanted was to save his sister. Xaviax is just a straight up villain.
* BigBad: The main antagonist of the series.
* CardCarryingVillain: Unquestionably, unchangably evil and very much into it. That's where his EvilGloating and LargeHam comes in.
* DealWithTheDevil: His forte. He approaches people to offer them what want/need if they fight for him. He would hold his end of the deal or at least he did in Adam's case.
* EvilCannotComprehendGood: He thought that he can manipulate Kit exactly like he did Adam, never considering that Kit may decide differently because he is not his mirror twin and has his father's advice.
* EvilGloating: Indulges into this to show the Riders they can't beat him. They did anyway, obviously.
* FauxAffablyEvil: Going hand in hand with his ManipulativeBastard abilities, he typically acts like this. A logical requirement for his M.O.
* TheHeartless: A literal example as he is stated not to have a heart.
-->'''Xaviax''': ''[commenting on Kit refusing a DealWithTheDevil]'' Some boys are just heartless.
-->''(presses down on his chest where he would have a heart as if he were a human)''
-->'''JTC/Strike''': ''[what the hell expression]'' General, you don't have a heart.
-->'''Xaviax''': ''[stops pressing with an "oh, right" face]''
* IControlMyMinionsThrough: Most of the Riders he sics on the heroes are shackled to him through Obligation to whatever DealWithTheDevil he's made; though he'll fall back on good old Fear if he has to. JTC is the only Rider that [[spoiler: chose to follow Xaviax]] and [[IFightForTheStrongestSide that's only out of self-preservation]].
* IHaveManyNames: has a moment of this when meeting Kit face to face to offer him [[DealWithTheDevil a deal]].
-->'''Xaviax:''' [[MasterOfDisguise I've been many things]]. [[ClearMyName Brad Barrett]] knew me as [[FightClubbing Charlie Feathers]], [[MilitaryBrat Chris Ramirez]] thought I was [[TheMenInBlack Agent Simons]], and the kid you knew as [[GlorySeeker Kamen Rider Camo]] called me [[PrivateMilitaryContractors Captain Mattock]].
-->'''Kit:''' Xaviax!
* LargeHam: He may be one of the very reasons why many watch this show.
* TheGreys: His true form resembles one of these.
* ManipulativeBastard: Most of the Riders are only working for him because he played them like fiddles.
* ManOfWealthAndTaste: Dresses in smart business suits for many of his aliases, and his default outfit is a [[EvilWearsBlack black coat]] with an [[HighCollarOfDoom upturned collar.]]
* NiceJobFixingItVillain: He wakes Frank Taylor up for a while to give Kit a glimpse of what would he get if he took up [[DealWithTheDevil his offer]]. This allows Kit to indirectly ask his father for advice, which then gives him strength to go defy Xaviax.
* NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist: Between his methods and the fact that he wants to rebuild the planet he himself destroyed using ''slave labor'', Xaviax definitely counts as this.
* OrcusOnHisThrone: He prefers to recruit people to fight for him and sends monsters to kidnap victims for his plans despite having all the means to get things done with little effort and time. This comes to bite him when he runs out of riders (most of them anyway) and toying with Kit backfires.
* ShapeShifter: Can shapeshift into any form he desires.
* ShapeShifterDefaultForm: His human form is merely a disguise, his true form is only glimpsed before his demise and resembles [[TheGreys a Grey alien.]]
* SmugSnake: Nothing short of [[spoiler: the Ventaran riders charging up their collective final attack]] can shake up his confidence. Otherwise, he is always in control, above the situation.
* SurroundedByIdiots: He feels like this about all earth riders that are not Strike.
--> '''Xaviax:''' ''[about the [[BloodKnight Cho Brothers]]]'' Very enthusiastic. Not ''bright'', but enthusiastic.
* ThisWasHisTrueForm: Moments before his death, he reverts back to his true form [[spoiler:likely due to putting all his power into trying to protect himself from the Link Vent]].

* DisappearedDad: He is to Kit, as he vanished year before the start of the story.
* EmptyShell: Ended up in a vegetative state due to Xaviax's machinations.

!!Maya Young/Kamen Rider Siren II
!!! Portrayed by: Yvonne Arias (credited as Creator/AriaAlistar), Voiced by: Yuria Haga (Japanese dub)
\
An IntrepidReporter who writes for a paranormal blog. While investigating the rash of mysterious disappearances and the armored vigilante reports, she briefly is pulled through a mirror, allowing her to see Xaviax's monsters. She teams up with Kit to compare notes and figure out just what's going on. [[spoiler:Much later, she temporarily takes Kase's place as Kamen Rider Siren, while Kase is stuck in Advent Void/recovering from being pulled out.]]
----
Tropes associated with Maya Young:
* ConspiracyTheorist: Works for a paranormal website, Way Above Top Secret.
* IntrepidReporter: Related to her work.
* [[NonActionGuy Non-Action Girl]]: [[spoiler:And elects to remain so even after a taste of ActionGirl-hood.]]
* OfficialCouple: With Price in the novel.

!!Trent Moseley
!!! Portrayed by''': Taylor Emerson, Voiced by''': Creator/YuukiKaji (Japanese dub)
\
Maya's coworker in the bookstore and the paranormal business. Might or might not have a crush on Maya, which might have contributed to his initial distrust of Kit and the Riders. [[spoiler:After getting involved with the Riders, he's given a decision: join [[TheMenInBlack the No Men]] or go to jail. He chooses the No Men.]]
----
* AbortedArc: He at first has an intense distrust of Kit since he was framed for stealing from his younger brother. The first time he has any interaction with Kit, and Len at the same time, he seems to have gotten over it.
* AgentMulder: He doesn't have any problem with believing in whatever oddness is going on.
* ConspiracyTheorist: Unlike Lacey, he belives Maya pretty much immediately.
* GetOutOfJailFreeCard: He is not in jail, just threatened with it. [[TheMenInBlack The No Men]] give him two choices: join the No Men or go to prison for breaking into their network (and not only that).

!!Lacey Sheridan
!!! Portrayed by: Marisa Lauren, Voiced by: Creator/YukaKomatsu (Japanese dub)
\
Maya's {{Valley Girl}}ish and spunky best friend. At first tolerant of her friend's apparent conspiracy theories, she becomes increasingly frustrated and concerned as Maya and Trent delve into the Kamen Rider world. [[spoiler:She eventually witnesses Riders in person, which unnerves her and leaves her open to manipulation by Michelle, but she ultimately sticks by her friends even though she's still uneasy with all the weirdness.]]
----
* AgentScully: She doesn't believe a thing. First, it seems to her that Maya and Trent are playing something like a role-play in their pursuit of Kamen Riders. It goes from there to her thinking that Maya is just delusional and actually fearing for her.
* AllGirlsWantBadBoys: Her reaction to Maya getting involved with Kit.
* GenkiGirl: Played up in the Japanese dub (but of COURSE!)
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: Her reaction after [[spoiler: turning over Maya's information on Kamen Riders to Michelle]] leads to [[spoiler: Kit]] being captured by the No Men.
* OptOut: Steps out during the final episodes, having trouble coping and not being able to contribute much.

!!Michelle Walsh
!!!Portrayed by: Creator/KathyChristopherson, Voiced by: Creator/YoukoSoumi (Japanese dub)
\
One of the senior reporters for the blog Maya works for. Generally bitchy and condescending to everyone, she often steals credit for stories and tries to undermine Maya when she won't play along. [[spoiler:However, we eventually find that this is a cover, and she's actually a government agent for a top-secret paranormal division called the "No Men". After she successfully gets Maya's intel, the No Men start getting involved in the Rider war, ultimately becoming allies. And Michelle starts reining in her bitchiness, too.]]
----
* GoodIsNotNice: Her goals are heroic, her methods... not so much.
* KickTheDog: When Maya won't share what she knows, Michelle goes ahead and steals the data. [[PetTheDog She eventually loosens up and apologizes.]]
* TheMenInBlack: Her employers.

!!Master Eubulon
!!!Portrayed by: Creator/MarkDacascos, Voiced by: Creator/TsuyoshiKoyama (Japanese dub)
\
The Advent Master, only one with the power to reassign Advent Decks and retrieve defeated Riders from the Advent Void (originally intended to be a safe zone for them, not a prison). He was originally Xaviax's top scientist, but had a HeelFaceTurn and developed the Rider system for Ventara. When defeated in Ventara, he was accidentally sent to Earth instead of to the Void.
----
* TheAtoner: He created the Advent decks for Ventaran people to protect themselves as a way of atoning for the world he devastated earlier.
* BadassBookworm: Eubulon can throw down with the likes of Len and is the one responsible for creating the Kamen Rider technology.
* BadassLongcoat: He's got one, and he's definitely badass.
* BigGood: To the Ventaran riders.
* DefectorFromDecadence: He fell ill after arriving on Ventara. A local family took him in and nursed him back to health. He decided that saving his own planet by destroying another one is wrong and started a plan to help the afflicted.
* TheGreys: [[spoiler:His true Karshian form.]]
* HeelFaceTurn: In his backstory as mentioned above.
* HopeBringer: [[spoiler: As the only person capable of operating the Advent Void, he could make it so that being sent there wasn't permanent.]]
* TheMentor: To the Ventaran Kamen Riders.
* RoswellThatEndsWell: The alien landing in Roswell was him being sent there instead of to the Advent Void.
* {{Shapeshifter}}
* WarriorTherapist: Acts as one for Len at the start of episode 35.
-->'''Eubulon:''' So ask yourself: do you know it in your head, or just your gut? You're a great fighter, Len. But you have to be more than that to be a great warrior. Sometimes listening is harder than fighting. A ''true'' warrior must do both.

[[folder: Characters appearing in [=2World=] [=1Hearts=]]]
!!Colonel David Stuart/[[spoiler:Kamen Rider Onyx II]]

Veteran of Afghanistan initially allied with the No Men. In reality, he only worked together with them to further his own plans [[spoiler: of world domination. He collected the power of all decks and both Survive Modes to become Onyx [[SpikesOfVillainy Oversurvive]]. This [[SuperPowerMeltdown eventually]] cost him his life.]]

Tropes associated with Colonel David Stuart:
* BlatantLies: [[spoiler: Declaring he doesn't want to use rider technology for military to dissuade Kit from being ProperlyParanoid.]]
* CruelAndUnusualDeath: [[spoiler: He was hunted down by his Advent Beasts after breaking the contract.]]
* ManBehindTheMan: The organization he is implied to ''actually'' work for.
* ManipulativeBastard: He got everyone wrapped around his finger and moved to positions in his plan. He convinced the No Men to let him in on the Kamen Rider business, fooled Master Eubulon into trusting him with the Advent Decks and knew the exact way to manipulate several Earth Riders into returning.
* OldSoldier: He is decribed as old, but by no means weary or weak as he still stands with both the strength and authority of professional soldier. [[spoiler: This is further punctuated when he uses the Onyx Deck and fights 12 Riders at once.]]
* PatrioticFervor: Vile example of Patriotism is bad, ala {{Eagleland}} Type-2. He believes that USA will save the world by conquering other nations with military force.
* ShellShockedVeteran: His war experience helped scatter his marbles.
* StealthHiBye: Just the arrival part. He often appears out of nowhere through the course of the story. [[spoiler:He stole the Onyx deck and became a Kamen Rider, thus making him able to travel through mirrors.]]
* ThrowTheDogABone: The tactic he uses with Chris, who got better from his days as depressed [[TheWoobie woobie]], but still is very easy to manipulate through acknowledgement and praise. He praises Chris on his achievements as soldier and Kamen Rider and his family for being good soldiers. This is all that's needed to convince him to return as Kamen Rider Sting.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: In a similar vein as Xaviax. He wants to save his war torn homeworld, but unlike Xaviax who have went on destroying other worlds, Stuart would wreck his own in the procces.

!!Brian Mace/Kamen Rider Wing Knight II
Len's mirror twin who works for Colonel Stuart. [[spoiler: He impersonates Len, fooling Kit into working with him.]]

Tropes asociated with Brian Mace:
* TheDragon: To Colonel Stuart.
* EvilTwin: Initially is this to Len before his HeelFaceTurn.
* HeelFaceTurn: He was never actually evil, but decided that enough is enough [[spoiler: after being nearly vented by his boss.]]
