* CurbStompBattle: Most of his fights are one-sided on his favor. In his introduction, he easily overpowers and vents Thrust (who was holding his own against Dragon Knight, Wing Knight and Sting), hunts down and basically terrorizes Torque before venting him without trouble, easily stomps Chris anytime they fight before venting him, beats up Axe and later vents him when Xaviax orders him to get rid of him and almost every fight he had with Kit ended with him winning or Kit barely surviving. However, he gets to be on the receiving end of this with a furious Wing Knight in survive mode completely crushes and vents him.

Added DiffLines:

* SanityHasAdvantages: JTC's just as strong and intelligent as his counterpart Asakura and did not have Asakura's psychopatic tendencies, making him a ''highly'' effective and threatening second-in-command for Xaviax.

Trope was cut/disambiguated due to cleanup

* KickTheSonOfABitch: He mocks Drew's futile attempts to escape after betraying Xaviax. Unlike him demoralizing Chris, this comes across somewhat less cruel because Drew is an AssholeVictim.

* AdaptationalJerkass: Unlike Shinji, who was an all-out NiceGuy who refused to take in the Rider War (best as he could), Kit shows signs of being rude or unpleasant from time to time, and he's not as unwilling to use his Final Vent if pushed.
* AdaptationalWimp: Kit is not half the powerful Rider that Shinji was, as evidenced by him struggling to keep up with the other Riders and having the biggest losing record out all the Kamen Riders in the show. While both Shinji and Kit started with awful fighting skills and improved over time, Shinji struggled with the Riders because of his refusal to fight/kill them, and whenever he was pushed too far and decided to get serious in battle, he proved to be a skilled and dangerous fighter. In fact, Shinji came close to defeating several Riders, only stopped by his moral code, and even defeated Kamen Rider Ouja (the counterpart of Kamen Rider Strike, who Kit never defeated in a fight) before dying in an awesome final fight taking an entire army of mirror monsters alongside Ren. While Kit had the same morals at first, he dropped them at one point in the story, and still got regularly beaten by other Riders, relying on his advent cards or the help from other Riders to get through.
** As example, Kit/Shinji's one-to-one fight with Ouja/Strike in the middle of the series. In Ryuki, Ouja defeats Ryuki because previously he injured Shinji's arm with a piece of metal before they even transformed; In Dragon Knight, Kit fights Strike in perfect shape and still loses badly without getting a single hit.
** Ryuki also receives his survive card far sooner than Kit does, using the card several times and becoming more skilled with it than Kit, who only got to use it once.

* AdaptationalWimp: Zigzagged. Unlike Shinji, Kit is not half was already a trained fighter since before gaining his Advent Deck. Thus, even in the powerful Rider that first episode, Kit could outfight several low-level Mirror Monsters while detransformed. However, in terms of inner strength, Shinji was, as evidenced by him struggling to keep up with the other Riders and having is more resilient than Kit, thus never abandoning his "no kill" rule.
