1	* Tiffany Aching smacking Jenny Greenteeth senseless with a frying pan. She then proceeds to get more and more badass (staring the HeadlessHorseman in "the eyes he hasn't got", outwitting a trio of grimhounds, owning [[TheFairFolk the Fairy Queen]]...)
2	** Compare this to the first fight with the Fairy Queen in Literature/LordsAndLadies, which required all the cunning of the whole Kingdom of Lancre and ended with a climactic battle between Granny, Magrat, and the Queen. The fact that Tiffany escaped alive is no small miracle
3	** It wasn't just the ''smacking'' that was awesome. Moments before, Tiffany had barely escaped with her and Wentworth's lives after Jenny had fountained from the bank and nearly killed them both. Instead of standing there screaming in terror, though, she goes home, ''measures the size of the monster's eyes'', gets some materials, goes back to the river, plants a stick near the bank and ties a bag of candy to it so that her brother would be lured to it, so that ''Jenny'' would be lured to her ''brother'', so that Tiffany could smack it with her frying pan so it would never bother either of them again. [[TheChessmaster All that calm and calculation]]. ''[[KidHero And she was only nine]]''.
4	* Granny Aching putting the Baron in his place, and helping the donkey; this woman has Granny Weatherwax levels of awesome.
5	** Even Weatherwax, who can be quite prideful at times, admits this... which, coming from her, means that above statement could be rewritten as "Weatherwax has Granny Aching levels of awesome."
6	** Granny Aching's dogs, Thunder and Lightning, are pretty awesome two, operating as a non-combat BattleCouple when there's sheep to be herded.
7	** "Them as can do has to do for them as can't. And someone has to speak up for them as has no voices."
8	* Pretty much everything that the Nac Mac Feegle say and do. They are also six inches tall on average. Case in point: can ''you'' knock out a demon horse by headbutting it? I didn't think so.
9	* It is said that, if you leave a saucer of milk out for the pictsies, they will break into your cottage and steal everything in your drinks cabinet.
10	* Granny Weatherwax ''takes off her hat to Tiffany.''
11	* Tiffany comes to a realization that GoodIsNotSoft.
