| 8 | * The "Daddy's Song" sequence, featuring amazing dancing skills from Davy Jones, choreography from Toni Basil (who dances with Davy), and fun with photo negative imagery by way of some very clever camera work and costuming. Specifically, Jones and Basil were filmed going through the routine twice, once wearing black clothes against a white background, and once wearing white clothes against a black background. The film rapidly cuts back and forth between both sequences, requiring Jones and Basil to match their movements exactly; sometimes they're a little off, but more often than not they nail it. |
