7	* The opening title sequence shows a recap of all the movies of Godzilla's reign throughout the years beginning from 1954 to showing the Big G encased in ice all while showing a flashing image of an evolved Godzilla Junior in the ending of Godzilla vs. Destroyah.
8	* The [[CoolShip Gotengo]]. To wit:
9	** At the start of the film it ''defeats Godzilla''. It barely succeeded, and could only freeze it, but a human-made weapon other than the Oxygen Destroyer still defeated Godzilla.
10	** The upgraded Gotengo annihilating Manda. Also doubles as an action packed introduction to the kind of batshit-crazy bullshit Gordon can get away with.
11	** The Xillians are running amok, the Gotengo is Earth's last ship, so what do they do? They [[GodzillaThreshold free Godzilla]]. And when they see he thinks the battle from the last time is still going on, they ''have him chase where the other monsters are rampaging to have him fight them''.
12	* The martial arts fight scene between Ozaki and Kazama while they stand on their speeding motorcycles.
13	* Godzilla killing the American Zilla in less then twenty seconds is flat AWESOME. Adding "We're All To Blame" in the background while X ''cusses him out'' is icing on the cake.
14	** Hell, the whole montage of Godzilla walking around owning every monster that he comes across is awesome, especially when you consider that the monsters have all single-handily overwhelmed Earth's defenses. [[GodzillaThreshold "Last resort" indeed]].
15	** For such a short "fight", it's still an incredible spectacle. After summoning Zilla, he and Godzilla are shown in a wonderful wide shot showing them ready to square off, as shown in the page image. And to Zilla's credit, he ''does'' successfully dodge Godzilla's first Atomic blast...though dodging ''into'' him probably wasn't wise. Godzilla simply spins around and whips Zilla with his tail, sending him crashing into the Sydney Opera House. He then opens fire on the building, which '''explodes''' while Zilla lets out one final roar. Quick, smooth, brutal, ''perfect''. No wonder X threw a tantrum.
16	** For fans of Zilla, seeing him in a proper Japanese Godzilla movie at all is pretty awesome, despite the CurbStompBattle he gets from the real King of the Monsters. So awesome that 'Zilla's original creator, Patrick Tatopoulos, didn't even care his design appeared just to be stomped; it was awesome all the same he even made it in.
17	* The mutant soldiers taking down Ebirah is one of the few times humans actually take down a kaiju, and it is awesome.
18	** This requires a bit more explanation to underscore the awesome even more. Ebirah successfully destroys multiple vehicles, including at least two tanks. What does Kumasaka decide to do? Send five mutant soldiers against it ''on foot'', only two of whom are armed with masers while the rest have rocket launchers. And they '''win'''.
19	---> '''Kumasaka''': [[PreAssKickingOneLiner We're gonna fry that lobster!]]
20	* Kumasaka's superior fighting skills against all the brainwashed mutants in a YouShallNotPass moment to let Ozaki and the few to escape. He actually holds his own for several minutes before the mutants have to physically all jump on top of him in a desperate attempt to force him down. [[{{Determinator}} And he's still trying to resist even as they kill him...]]. However, when Gigan destroyed the EDF HQ building, Kumasaka is the only person to crawl out of the rubble and barely ''survive'' while the mutants have all presumably perished. As Kumasaka lays on the ground, he looks up to see that the Gotengo flying overhead, he smiles and laughs knowing he did his part and that there is hope of saving the world from the Xiliens.
21	* ANYTHING Captain Gordon does.
22	* Gigan, toward the end of the film, revealing his [[ChainsawGood upgrades]]. And when he uses them like tank treads to counter Mothra's attempt to blow him away.
23	* The scenes of the alien monsters utterly laying waste to human civilization are both amazing and [[NightmareFuel horrifying]].
24	* Godzilla blasts the meteor carrying Monster X while it's still in space and outright '''TANKS''' the impact without taking any damage whatsoever.
25	* Monster X changing into Keizer [[CanonCharacterAllAlong Ghidorah]], pitting Godzilla against his most classic adversary, is positively chilling.
26	** Their entire fight is this in spades. Monster X gets points for being the only monster to single-handedly hold up Big G and even gain the upper hand.
27	* Godzilla killing Keizer Ghidorah by ''pushing him into outer space with his Hyper Spiral Ray and exploding him into a million pieces''. Definitely the most appropriate climax for this type of movie.
28	* The last shot of the series features Godzilla returning to the sea, before turning to the camera and ending with his signature roar.
29	** The very last sound that we hear at the end of the film's credits is none other than the roar of the original '''1954 Godzilla himself!'''
30	* Gordon's BadassBoast right after Godzilla is revived:
31	-->'''Gordon:''' Listen, kid. There's two things you don't know about the Earth. One is me and the other is... [[{{TheDreaded}} Godzilla.]]

33	* Ozaki single handedly kicking the ass of X, making him suffer and pay for all of his cruelty, sadism, and atrocities against Earth.
34	* King Caesar, Anguirus and Rodan versus Godzilla. Even if they lost, they held him up longer than anyone else apart from Monster X. That takes some serious balls.
35	** Might damper the Awesome a bit but could cross into heartwarming as there might be a REASON why they held out longer. Godzilla didn't want to truly kill his friends who had fought alongside him in the past.
36	* Godzilla killing Gigan even though not in continuity with Showa it was satisfying seeing something of an end to a monster that fled away in two films with no conclusion (unless you count his appearance in ''Zone Fighter'', where the titular hero actually kills him), especially since he was the first Kaiju to make Big G bleed. Fulfilled again by Mothra later in the film.
37	* Godzilla's reawakening is one of the most epic moments in the whole franchise, especially with the flames burning in his eyes.
38	* Godzilla and Mothra, the King and Queen of the Monster World joined forces in stopping the Xilian Invasion. Most notable was when Godzilla was captured by Monster X who had Gigan to cut the Kaiju to pieces. Godzilla turned this around and pushed Monster X to received that exact treatment. With both of aliens distracted, Mothra flew in and [[BigDamnHeroes smacked them right to the floor]].
39	** In 50 years of co-starring together, this is the first film in the ''franchise'' where Godzilla and an adult Mothra have fought something other than each other.
40	* Mothra killing Gigan by using his own buzz saws against him and then ramming into him at full speed while ''on fucking fire'', blowing him to utter pieces. The kicker? The end credits heavily imply '''MOTHRA SURVIVED'''.
41	* Minilla (yes, ''[[TheScrappy Minilla]]'') gets one of these, despite still being highly disliked. He gets between Godzilla and some humans to stop him from outright obliterating them. And Godzilla actually backs down and leaves. Yes, a baby monster was able to convince his own father (who had been ''[[CurbStompBattle utterly demolishing his opponents until now]]'') to leave just by standing his ground. That's badass.
42	** On the other side, Kenta, a child stops his grandfather and the surviving humans from trying to hurt and further anger Godzilla which is what inspired Minya to do the aforementioned moment that ends the long grudge that Godzilla holds for humanity.
43	* Gigan's revamp for this movie. He got a ''[[TookALevelInBadass seriously]]'' [[TookALevelInBadass badass upgrade]] from his Showa version; gone are yellow/gold and green, in are silver, black, and dark blue! Not to mention his hooks are now long scythe-like blades, his wings wouldn't be out of place on Destoroyah, the first thing he does upon waking up and completely demolish the building he's in! As if he couldn't get more badass, one of his upgrades replaces the scythes with motherfreaking ''[[ChainsawGood Chainsaw hands]]''!!! His chainsaw hands make [[Franchise/EvilDead Ash's chainsaw]] look like a plastic toy fork. His sheer badass look, weapons, and personality are almost enough for you to want to cheer for evil, if you aren't already doing that!
