8	* Just when it looks like the Maitlands have failed to intervene before Lydia and Betelgeuse's wedding is completed, [[BigDamnHeroes Barbara rides in on a freakin]] ''[[BigDamnHeroes SANDWORM]]'' [[BigDamnHeroes to devour Betelgeuse]].
9	** Since Betelgeuse was already a ghost, being eaten by the sandworm should probably have sent him to the Room of Lost Souls, or a similar location. However, we last see him in the waiting room, which implies that the marriage actually was completed, and he came back to life very briefly - only to be killed again.
10	** Remember that going to Saturn is a YearOutsideHourInside, so it only took Babs a ''microsecond'' to tame the sandworm!
11	* Betelgeuse's grand appearance after the Maitlands dig his grave.

15	* The first 15 seconds of the second opening are amazing. After Lydia calls his name 3 times, Beetlejuice leaps out of his grave, leaps around while changing the landscape and letting out an absolutely crazed laugh, gets right up to the camera, says his CatchPhrase, then leaps backwards causing the background to shatter. Words just do not do it justice, but it is awesome.
16	* In the episode "The Neitherworld's Least Wanted", the RoguesGallery trick Beetlejuice into falling apart (literally, that is). Lydia and BJ must recover his body parts before sunset or he will [[DeathsHourglass cease to exist]]. Finally, they get to where the final villain, Mr. Big (who's actually a [[IronicNickname midget]]), is holding his heart. Mr. Big gets Lydia in a trap and watches as Beetlejuice is turning into goo. At almost the last possible second, Lydia pulls a BigDamnHeroes moment and knocks the heart into the pool; Beetlejuice [[HeroicSecondWind turns back to (ab)normal]] and makes quick work of Mr. Big and the others. And, as you might expect, it is '''awesome'''.
17	* In the WholeEpisodeFlashback in "Highs-Ghoul Confidential", after spending a good majority of the episode trying to find the right "buzz words" to really get his juice flowing, it all comes to a head when BJ is voted Prom King and subsequently humiliated in front of the entire class, which is just enough to push him over the edge. This leads him to say his CharacterCatchphrase for the first time in his entire afterlife, and basically go all ''Film/{{Carrie\|1976}}'' on the asses of the two bullies who humiliated him. [[PunctuatedForEmphasis And it. Is.]] ''[[PunctuatedForEmphasis GLORIOUS.]]''

21	* In "In the Schticks," BJ and Lydia are both arrested and sentenced to centuries of labor. When BJ can't convince the judge to let Lydia go, he tries to convince her to go back to the Outerworld where she'll be safe. Since that also doesn't work, he then busts out of his own imprisonment and spends most of the episode fighting to save her from hers. The awesome factor comes in when the viewer understands that Lydia is trapped at the Resort of Last Resort, a place where Beetlejuice experienced some severe childhood trauma. He's absolutely terrified of the place, but he refuses to let that fear keep him away from her.
22	* Pretty much any instance of Beetlejuice overcoming his fear of sandworms in order to save someone else from one of them - baby Arlo in "Critter Sitters," his father in "Beetlejuice's Parents," Lydia in "Worm Welcome," and so forth. Nothing scares him more than those monstrosities, but give him enough incentive and he'll fight off that fear.
23	* A consistent one in the series is whenever he utters his [[CharacterCatchphrase "It's Showtime!"]] That's the cue that he's going to ramp up the magic and go after anyone in the episode that crossed him in one of the most blatant cases of instant karma in TV. Usually accompanied by a high energy version of his {{Leitmotif}} and just screams awesome.
24	* Lydia gets a very subtle one, which is also a Funny Moment, in "Spitting Image." After listening to the two Beetlejuices bicker constantly over which of them is better and which one she likes more, she finally tells them despondently that "You can't go on like this, you guys! And frankly... neither can I." She sighs and walks away with her head lowered, leaving the Beetlejuices staring after her in concern. But as soon as she gets far enough away from them, her expression turns ''devious''. She knows ''exactly'' what she's doing; she's completely aware that Beetlejuice can't stand to see her upset and will do what needs to be done to make her feel better. It's particularly awesome because Beetlejuice - con man extraordinaire that he is - ''never'' realizes that he's being played.
25	** A similar moment like this one happens in "The Son Dad Never Had". Charles wants to spend quality time with Lydia, who is unfortunately busy with a photography project for school, so Beetlejuice once again becomes Cousin B.J. so he can spend time with "Uncle Charles"— and con him out of his money every chance he gets. Once Lydia becomes aware of this, she tells Beetlejuice to "send this money back where it belongs before I send you back where you belong!" Beetlejuice quickly, and begrudgingly, obliges, which then leads to this.

28	* In "A Ghoul and His Money", Beetlejuice wins a million dollar grand prize of the Crummy House Sweepstakes (as nobody has a crummier house than him). However, there's a catch; if he wants to keep the cash prize, he must promise to ''never "Juice" anyone ever again''. At first, it does prove difficult when he takes Lydia to the fanciest restaurant in the Neitherworld, and the high society members immediately starts giving him crap while knowing they're all effectively safe from the possibility of him using his magic on them. Lydia gives him advice to simply just laugh it all off, and it helps him endure their jeers at him… that is, until one of them insults ''her''. It's here that Lydia finally tells him that it's no fun for either of them if he has to put up with their crap for the sake of money, which helps him decide to just screw it and give these stuck-up jerks the juicing they deserve.

42	* In "That Beautiful Sound", about a dozen more Betelgeuses pop up out of nowhere. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wunDX4PNcI There's a 360 degree video that shows how it works]] and it relies primarily on hidden entrances and lighting tricks.
43	* The penultimate number "Creepy Old Guy" has the rest of the cast pulling out all the stops to pull one over on Betelgeuse. The con's steps, in order:
44	** Lydia claims she only ran off to get her father's blessing.
45	** Mr. Deetz then distracts BJ so Lydia can fill in Adam, Barbara, and Delia on the plan.
46	** When BJ objects at how easy it is, Adam claims to object to the wedding... because ''he's'' into BJ, kissing him. Then Barbara gets in on it.
47	** They all launch into an over the top musical number that ends up convincing BJ that Lydia is genuinely okay with all of this and wants to marry him, to let him join the living. This includes massive overacting and lampshading how creepy the age difference is while giving each other secret signals, but he doesn't notice because they're laying it on so thick.
48	** The wedding goes through and Betelgeuse is brought to life... only for Lydia to impale him through the chest shortly after. He dies, rising as a ghost again-a ''recently deceased'' ghost, which means they can send him back to the Netherworld ''permanently,'' as ghosts can't leave it once they've entered. Problem solved!
49	* The second half of "Say My Name" is an awesome moment for Lydia. At first, it seems like she'll agree to a DealWithTheDevil, then she taunts Beetlejuice by repeatedly saying his name twice, [[BaitAndSwitchComment then saying a different word that begins with "be."]] Lydia points out that if any ghost can possess a human, then [[ArmorPiercingQuestion "What do I need]] ''[[ArmorPiercingQuestion you]]'' [[ArmorPiercingQuestion for?]]" Instead, Lydia uses the more trustworthy Maitlands to ruin her parents' party and leaves Beetlejuice trapped.

53	* While it's not particularly good for the people involved, when Beetlejuice starts wrecking havoc you just can't help but think his presentation of it at the very least is somewhat awesome.
54	** When Lydia finally summons him at the end of the first act. Just the final lead up of him edging Lydia to call his name three times and appearing visible to the rest of the cast with his iconic "It's showtime." He gets to work immediately with house turning into completely different colors to show he's in control and summons a huge version of himself to rid everyone out of the house.
55	** His whole scheme in "The Whole Being Dead Thing part 4", where he does his most evil deed in the show. After tricking Lydia, to thinking she's doing a seance to summon back her dead mother, it turns out she was performing an exorcism and poor Barbara so happened to be the one victim to it. Adam desperately tries to help Barbara as her blood-curdling screams fill the room and Lydia is in complete shock of what's she's done. Just then, she and the others hear Beetlejuice's disembodied voice confirm its an exorcism. He then arises from the ground donned in a red version of suit and quickly has everyone by his clutches and gives Lydia the choice of marrying him or everyone she loves will die. The fact that he's able to pull this off after being treated like a joke for most of the show really shows what Beetlejuice is capable of when he's getting serious.
