* CompleteMonster: [[KnightOfCerebus Ferocious Knight D]] is one of the first and most remorseless Deboss Knights in existence. Debuting as the [[BigBad main villain]] of ''[[Film/ZyudenSentaiKyoryugerGaburinchoOfMusic Gaburincho of Music]]'', he was released after 100 million years of slumber, receiving Fake Kyouryger powers transforming him into [[EvilCounterpart Deathryuger]]. Kidnapping a friend of Daigo named Meeko in an attempt to resurrect Tobaspino and use the former as a power source for Spinodai-Oh as part of his genocidal plan to wipe out all life on Earth. Upon defeat he later returns in the series proper, where after escaping from Deboss Hell, D turns Meeko into his personal necromancer, with the intention of making her resurrect the various fallen monsters in his plan to conquer the planet. When the Kyoryugers thwarted his latest evil plan, D attempts to [[TakingYouWithMe blow up the Earth by enlarging himself out of spite]].

** It gets especially bad in Brave 12, with the samba ruining the epicness of all six rangers transforming together at the same time and the samba music drowns out the AwesomeMusic, twice!

* NightmareFuel: [[spoiler:Aigaron developed a split personality. The other personality is even ''worse'' than regular Aigaron, gaining pitch black eyes, suffering from fits of anger, and attacking his comrades. Even worse, in #46, it's revealed that Aigaron was DeadAllAlong and his new power is a result of Lord Chaos resurrecting him to be his undead soldier.]]

* TheWoobie: Debo Batissier, arguably. His only job and desire was to make cake, but had to be taken down after something possessed him.

** Torin, as shown in the Fridge and TearJerker page, has gone through some horrible shit for 65 ''million'' years. The dinosaurs died off, Ramirez, Utsusemimaru, and Te Sai died and he hasn't had people to talk to him in between assembling the Kyoryugers.
** Dogold. Yes, you read that right, Dogold, of all folks. He has a hard time trying to find a host body that will last long enough so that he himself can live, and everyone/everything pisses him off. Also easily counts as a JerkassWoobie.

* GameBreaker: Not only is Debo Akkumoon's power REALLY effective (to the point of being able to use a pillow so comfy, it causes the target to ''instantaneously'' fall asleep, allowing him to then enter their dreams to attack them.), but he was created by Luckyuro, meaning that Akkumoon is the only Debo Monster thus far that does not feed off emotion.

* MostAnnoyingSound: Man, why the hell the Kyoryuger's gear have to scream that much? It was a bit funny at first, but it got old very fast.
** The "samba whistle" also got very old very quickly for some viewers.

* EnsembleDarkhorse:
** Ian is shaping up to be this. Being an {{Expy}} of [[Series/ChoujinSentaiJetman Gai Yuki]] sort of helps.
** Utsusemimaru is quite popular as well. While being a SixthRanger helps, there's also the fact that he's a badass samurai and yet ''totally adorkable.''
** Amy also has her fans for being incredibly badass herself to make up for being the only girl on the team.
** Yayoi is quickly getting a fanbase as a character. [[SmurfetteBreakout Mostly because she's the only other female hero, but still]].
** Torin too, for being an avian [[Series/TokusouSentaiDekaranger Doggie Krugger]] with a [[BadassBaritone deliciously awesome]] [[Creator/ToshiyukiMorikawa voice]] and a [[BadassFingersnap widely remarkable]] CharacterTic. He's arguably one of the coolest Sentai mentors in history due to his sheer amount of Badassery, [[spoiler:''especially'' after becoming Kyoryu Silver and having Dantetsu send him to Deboss Hell as part of their ThanatosGambit.]]
** Candelilla. Being a CuteMonsterGirl, voiced by Creator/HarukaTomatsu, and her [[spoiler: interactions with Nobuharu]] have earned her Darkhorse points.

** Though that last point did receive foreshadowing as far back as [[LoveTriangle Yayoi's introduction]].

* BaseBreakingCharacter: Daigo. [[MemeticBadass Awesome hero]], or a flawless [[SpotlightStealingSquad spotlight-stealer]]? Being compared to both [[Series/BattleFeverJ Masao Den]] and [[Anime/DokiDokiPrettyCure Mana Aida]] doesn't help.

** The dissonance between the show's ratings and toy sales indicate another break. Its ratings were poor for a Sentai series, but its toy sales were through the roof.

* AssPull:
** Practically OnceAnEpisode from episode 6-12. Invariably, a team member would "conveniently" remember a Zyudenchi with a weird power that might help against the MOTW and whip it out with little to no in-show foreshadowing at all. Although this was probably to rush out the abilities of the Zyudenchi. That said, the team was shown to be learning the Zyudenchi powers and training with early on, even if they didn't yet spell out what all the powers were, so it's not completely out of nowhere.

* BaseBreakingCharacter: Daigo. [[MemeticBadass Awesome hero]], or a flawless [[SpotlightStealingSquad spotlight-stealer]]? Being compared to [[Anime/DokiDokiPrettyCure Mana Aida]] doesn't help.
