* CluelessAesop: In "Fire Fighters to the Rescue", Duck and Fly try to become firefighters, and get upset when there are no fires to put out. They never realize that's a ''good'' thing; they just keep hoping for an emergency to happen so that they can personally benefit from it. When Pig's marshmallows do catch on fire, the show fails to explicitly mention the possibility of it spreading across the forest. And, oddly, the episode ends with the new firefighters ''building'' a fire. The intended message could have been made much clearer by adding and tweaking a few lines.

* MisaimedMarketing: An instrumental of "Film/ThatThingYouDo" was used in [[https://youtu.be/XSeV7bpGUJQ a promo]] for the series. While not really kid-unfriendly (and, again, it was the instrumental version), it's a very strange music choice, even in the context of the show.

* QuirkyWork: Everything and everyone is made of the letters in their name, and new objects (and even new characters) can be created by just putting the appropriate letters next to each other. It's especially strange by PBS standards.
* WhatDoYouMeanItWasntMadeOnDrugs: A preschooler cartoon that has FunnyAnimals... whose bodies are made out of ''words''! Not only that, but everything around them is also made out of words. Houses, mountains, food, drinks, everything you could imagine, and they can just pull words out of everything. Even their bodies. When you really think about it, isn't that the equivalent of everything on Earth being made out of human skin?
