* CompleteMonster ("The Collector"): [[LivingDollCollector Chip]] is an antique collector, obsessed with keeping his merchandise in mint condition. Growing unsatisfied with collecting only items, he decided to collect people. He turns them into dolls, where they are [[AndIMustScream conscious, but trapped]], a fate which he has inflicted on many people, including [[WouldHurtAChild Valentino's younger brother]]. He is more than willing to inflict the same fate on Valentino when he tries to rescue them.

* BaseBreakingCharacter: Victor is a highly divisive character, mostly from how he's a huge jerk. One side thinks he's too [[Main/UnintentionallyUnsympathetic unlikable]], causes many of the problems of each episode, and feel he [[AesopAmnesia never really seems to actually learn anything]]. The other side thinks he's [[Main/JerkWithAHeartOfGold still a good person even with his flaws]], is slowly yet surely developing into a better person, and there are times where he can be [[Main/JerkassWoobie sympathetic nonetheless]].

* SoOkayItsAverage: Reception for the show so far has been pretty much this. It's regarded as being a fairly generic "heroes screw up and must defeat the MonsterOfTheWeek to fix everything and learn a big lesson in the process about responsibility" type of show, but otherwise harmless enough to avoid being straight-up bad. It has garnered a large Latino-American following though, which is the show's intended audience.

** On a similar note, Creator/CarlaTassara, who voices [[SpicyLatina Judy Alvarez]] in the game, also voiced a role in the show's pilot.

* FanficFuel: The finale of ''OK KO'' reveals that Mr. Gar's home is Monte Macabre. What kind of adventures could happen with the characters of both worlds meeting up?

** Due to thematic similarities (a two sibling team with differing personalities, living with an older relative for the summer, and being in a small town with supernatural creatures), the series has some overlap with fans of ''WesternAnimation/GravityFalls''. However, this has also coincides with a largely one-sided FandomRivalry, due to accusations of the show [[TheyCopiedItSoItSucks borrowing too many elements]] from ''GF''.

** Most fans of the show are also fans of other shows with heavy Latin American culture, the standout ones being ''WesternAnimation/MuchaLucha'', ''WesternAnimation/ElTigre'', and ''WesternAnimation/ElenaOfAvalor'' .

While some find her inoffensive or even think she's good lesbian representation, another small branch of fans see her as a shameless AuthorAvatar with very gross or otherwise off-putting tendencies, such as belching in people's faces.

** It even works both ways since it is strongly implied that [[spoiler:Isabella did genuinely like Valentino and is truly hurt by how he describes her true form. She runs away in both confrontations, the first time trying to hide her face and the second time wiping away tears. It gets worse in "Star Child" where he rejects her because of PoorCommunicationKills, driving her away to affiliate with her people]].

* TearJerker: Val and Isabella's relationship. [[spoiler:It's revealed in "Starry Eyes" that Isabella isn't real rather she is the disguise of a monster who wishes to attack the town. Val's presumably first crush not only used him for her own personal gain, but she was an inhuman creature that never cared about him and wanted to use him to conquer the world.]] Poor kid.
