** There's a minor one in an otherwise funny scene. Divatox calls up Rita Repulsa to ask for some advice on dealing with the Rangers. Rita responds that if she knew how to deal with the Rangers she'd have done that herself and advices Divatox to run away. The scene is meant to be humorous, but it's arguably a testament to how [[TookALevelInBadass far the Rangers have come as seasoned combatants]]; their original enemies are now ''afraid'' of them and have come to see them as unbeatable. Though,it goes right back to being funny AND awesome on Rita and Zedd's part when you remember that they actually ''pretty much defeated the Rangers'', who only kept going because of the Zeo Crystal, which Goldar and Rito were forced to drop when they tried to steal it.

** When Kimberly temporarily turns evil, her voice becomes noticeably deeper and erotic, she carries herself with a lot more slinky confidence, and visibly takes joy in fighting her friends.
** Evil Jason too to a slightly lesser extent. It's no coincidence that he's fighting his friends in a skintight outfit that shows off his biceps.

*** What's even funnier is that Divatox isn't just asking someone who's dealt with them, she's asking someone who's actually ''defeated them''! Remember, it was their plan to steal the Zeo Crystal from literally beneath them, and blow up the Command Center. ''Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers'' actually ends with the Rangers defeated and their future uncertain. They only were able to keep going this far through the sheer luck of Goldar and Rito being unable to actually steal the Crystal. But since they did keep going, Rita just tried to make Divatox realize that [[WaxingLyrical no one can and will ever really take them down]].

* MemeticLoser : Rocky always had an uphill battle with fans due to [[ReplacementScrappy replacing Jason]] as Red Ranger in ''Mighty Morphin'', and generally being considered boring compared to Jason, Tommy, Billy and even Adam. ''Zeo'' turning him from a guy with a sense of humor who knew when to be serious into a [[TookALevelInDumbass dimwitted goofball]] didn't help. However, what really sealed Rocky's status as a Memetic Loser was when this movie had him break his back during a training session for a martial arts tournament, making him the first Ranger to retire due to an injury, without even getting the dignity of getting hurt fighting a villain. That Rocky's replacement was a 12-year-old whom some fans consider a SuperiorSuccessor didn't help either[[note]]While Justin is a contentious character in his own right, you will find few fans who hate him specifically for replacing Rocky.[[/note]]

** Divatox has a sensually deep voice and an outfit that shows off her cleavage.

Added DiffLines:

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: This movie's handling of Kim and Jason, two of the original Mighty Morphin team, is among the biggest criticisms by fans. They are included largely for {{Fanservice}}, with no addressing Kim and Tommy's break-up and the show being rather ambiguous as to what Jason was up to after the ''Zeo'' finale. Worse, Jason and Kim are reduced damsels for the Rangers to save, which is rather frustrating for those who remember how badass Jason could be, even without his powers. Kim is particularly bad as Jason helps her escape the villains only for her to be captured ''again''.
