** The Hell Train saga's [[spoiler:''Three Orders'' mini-arc makes it quite clear that the Tower is going to devolve into all-out war due to Jahad sending out the order to his followers to declare war on those he deems to be his 3 greatest enemies. These being FUG, Bam and company aboard the Hell Train, and the Po Bidau family]].

** Boro also fell into this category after the Dallar Show, in contrast to his Revolution Road status, after Sachi Faker's lampshading that it doesn't matter if Boro dies since he's a [[{{BreakingTheFourthWall}} side character]].
** The first time Khun fake-died after finding out that [[spoiler:Apple was a traitor]], it was shocking. The second time Khun fake-died right as [[spoiler:he realizes Viole is Bam]], it was heart breaking. The third time Khun fake-died as [[spoiler:Rachel detonated the bomb she secretly put in his chest]], it was infuriating. The ''fourth'' time Khun fake-died from [[spoiler:Baylord Paul offhandedly putting a hole in him]], causing him to drop to the floor ''in a Yamcha Pose,'' it was getting [[{{TheyKilledKennyAgain}} routine]].

** Rachel (may also be AlternativeCharacterInterpretation): [[spoiler: she's been manipulated from the beginning of the story into betraying Bam,]] and possibly groomed her entire life for this role. Imagine being given a dream when you were just a child, and told it was your only chance for happiness. Now imagine (while still just a child) having that dream cruelly ripped away from you and given to someone else. And being told you're just too ugly, bad, and not special enough to ever realize that dream. [[spoiler: Also consider that she probably never intended to kill Bam, she was just told she must keep Bam from climbing the tower. And she seems to feel genuinely bad when she is informed of his supposed death]]

*** Though more recently, it has become clear that Rachel herself [[spoiler:doesn't want Bam to leave her alone]]. Bam chases her partially for answers, and she never gives him a full explanation. Later, after the [[spoiler:Hidden Floor, Bam is fully ready to go their separate ways, and it's Rachel who acts to ensure Bam continues chasing her]]

** The ''Revolution Road'' segment, the first part of six, got this feeling from some readers due to its sluggish pacing, especially the portion when Bam first arrived at Train City. The result was the StoryArc on it's own being the longest in the whole series so far being about 40 chapters long.

** Further along the line are Hwaryun, Endorsi Jahad and Ha Yuri Jahad.
** One of the oldest fan favourites is still Rak Wraithraiser. His boisterous attitude and ability to say what's on his mind made him very popular with fans, even when he started losing focus as a primary team member. His compressed form adds on an UglyCute side to him, too.
** On the Ranker's side, Lero-Ro and Yu Hansung are also quite popular. Their reappearances during the Workshop arc and The Hidden Floor (albeit, as a younger Data copy) respectively were quite welcomed.

** #LetVioleTurnAround: the hashtag for the mass demand for a Season 2 of the anime. It references the ending of Season 1 which featured a brief back shot of Viole.

** The Floor of Death arc had a side-plot going on where [[spoiler:Hwa Ryun wanted {{Revenge}} against Hell Joe because he killed a member of Hwa Ryun's Red Witch family]]. Once the arc was over, this plot-thread gets no resolution whatsoever.

** Some characters that passed the Floor-of-Tests with the rest of the core group seemed interesting enough, but they ended up [[WhatHappenedToTheMouse never appearing again]]. Even moreso in the anime [[spoiler:where things were changed up to not have Levin, Chunhwa and Blarouse make it to the end, which made it quite clear that SIU never had any plans to bring them back into the story]].

** Some characters that passed the second floor who didn't join up with Shibisu's season two team, such as Levin, are sorely missed by some fans.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: Wangnan's heritage [[spoiler:as Jahad's bastard son]] is a big deal, hinted at throughout his character arc. When he joins the main crew on the Hidden Floor, he gets the opportunity to meet [[spoiler:a younger version of his father]]. Do they meet up? Do they comment on each other's strikingly similar appearances, or does anyone else who knows him discuss it? Shockingly, no.

* ItWasHisSled: [[spoiler:Rachel betrays Bam after the first Floor]]. You're gonna be hard pressed to find somebody who doesn't mention this fact in conversations.

* ArchivePanic: At 430+ chapters as of August 2019, with many chapters long enough to fill almost a dozen comic book pages, you may need a few spare weekends to get to where everyone else is at.

** "Spoilers for people without fastpass but [ridiculous event] happens." This came about due to LINE-Webtoons fastpass function, which led to some people being three chapters ahead of some others.

* HesJustHiding: It gets more and more minuscule as the story moves along, but there will always be a small group of people out there who refuse to believe that [[spoiler:Prince is dead]]. The readers are just supposed to take White's word for it that [[spoiler: he ate Prince, and that Miseng was there to witness it]], which looks highly suspicious due to NeverFoundTheBody, and the process of how he died not actually being seen..

* HolyShitQuotient:
** Without a doubt, when SIU ships out WhamEpisode after WhamEpisode in increasing wham-ness, this will apply. Case in point, [[spoiler: the ''Devil of Right Arm'' arc from start to finish]].
** Meh -- that's peanuts. Try pausing for a few days during a read-through of [[spoiler: ''One Shot, One Opportunity'' to test your mettle.]] Good luck, oh ye of great fortitude: you'll cave in to the plot-hooks after an hour.

* HoYay: Many, many characters take an instant liking to Bam and put a lot on the line for him. Special mention goes to Khun who seems to have fixated on Bam after the events with his own sister seemed to have left him without purpose.

** Some of the FUG members certainly count despite their ruthlessness. Reflejo had his family wiped out and his eyelids sewn together just because he looked at a Jahad princess and Raguel had a horrible childhood because a 10 families member seduced an abandoned her mother.

* AssPull: How some people feel towards the plot-twist during the Hell Train's ''Dallar Show'' arc where Baa is suddenly handed to him [[NextTierPowerUp the power of the billion souls]] that Hoaqin sacrificed over the years.

** There's a fairly large divide between those who believe the series gets better and more crazy after Season 1, or if the story becomes too convoluted with arcs lasting too long and fan favorite characters from the first season not reappearing for an extremely long time. It does not help that the first test after the timeskip is seen as hard to follow with the sheer amount of new characters introduced.

** Ssong and Charlotte from the ''Floor of Death'' arc was a bit of a missed opportunity. Ssong had wanted to escape the Floor of Death in order to finally return to climbing the Tower while Charlotte is the opposite as someone who'd given up on possibly ever escaping. Unfortunately by the end of the arc, both are completely glossed over as neither take the chance to finally leave the Floor when it was time for Baam's group to leave.

** Parakewl. Everyone else is just ''trash.''

** Despite his [[TheScrappy scrappy]] status, Parakewl has quite a following amongst those who honor him for continuing the glorious ''revolution''.

** Parakewl, the DirtyCoward. As of the Workshop Battle, Parakewl has come to [[CrossingTheLineTwice cross the line twice]] as the Scrappy, as the utter ridiculousness and unexpected success of his DirtyCoward antics has made him into a bit of a MemeticBadass.

** For the Name Hunt Station arc, fans are split as to whether or not Bam's group and Leesoo's group fighting over who gets Kaiser's name is justified. Bam's group needs the name, because it's part of the deal he made with Yuri in order to go to the forbidden 43rd Floor, but Leesoo needs the name because Endorsi's life is on the line having lost her name to Kaiser, as well as needing the name to hand over to the Lo Po Bia Princess twins since they offered to end the hunt for Anaak if Endorsi manages to return to them with Kaiser's name. What really gets people confused is why the two sides can't just team up to defeat Kaiser.

** Some characters that passed the second floor who didn't join up with Leesoo's season two team, such as Levin, are sorely missed by some fans.

** Serena Rinnen not passing the Floor-of-Tests is this for some people considering that she goes through actual CharacterDevelopment compared to a couple [[FlatCharacter other Regulars]] that actually passed the 2nd floor.
