* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: ''All of it'', since the soundtrack mixes the best parts of ''Touhou'' and ''Pokemon'' music to great effect. * FridgeBrilliance: At least one hack acts as if levels do nothing, especially in the postgame. A 'mon can be ''this'' close to knocking out someone 25 levels higher after using a single attack. But does this not reflect what should happen when you take {{One HitPoint Wonder}}s and enemies who require many small bullets to defeat, and put them in a setting where nigh every attack is worth a lot of bullets?
* TheyJustDidntCare: Some "non-official" versions fall into this, especially with how they handle Legendaries. Some examples from an Emerald hack:
** Archie wishes to resurrect one of the legendaries with the same motivation as in the original - to have more water in the world. Kyogre is replaced with a special Suwako form. Replacing Kyogre with a real Touhou god works well... Unless said god's power is to create land.
** Rayquaza is also replaced, with Kanako. She is a wind god and can among other things manipulate the weather, so this works well. But Rayquaza's sprites are still used at the top of the Sky Tower - Even more jarring when Kyogre's and Groudon's overworld sprites were altered.

* DemonicSpider: Depending on the modder, Rumia. Why? It infests almost every halfway-dark place, it confuses, it lifedrains, and ''it can have Shadow Tag'' (you can't switch your Touhoumon out) ''as a common ability''. [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking And it gives meager experience]].
