** Mansion in ''[=TimeSplitters=]: Future Perfect'' was scrappy for three reasons. One, Jo-Beth Casey, who sometimes attacks you due to a glitch. Second, [[ThatOneBoss Deer Haunter]]. Third, the last boss of the level. You know which trope he goes under.

** Mansion of Madness in ''[=TimeSplitters=]: Future Perfect'' was scrappy Perfect''. On top of legitimately being pretty creepy, the level's incredibly small weapon selection means you'll be using the slow-loading shotgun for three reasons. One, Jo-Beth Casey, who sometimes attacks almost everything. The fact that the zombies take a ton of damage on every part of their body except the head means you due to a glitch. Second, [[ThatOneBoss Deer Haunter]]. Third, could end up wasting precious ammo on one of them whose head just won't come off. Then there's the last boss climb up to and out of the level. You know which trope he goes under.attic, where the level really throws the zombies equipped with shotguns at you. Because of the shotgun's slow reloading time and small number of shots between reloads, it's very easy to get pinned down and shot while you're reloading.

* ContestedSequel: Timesplitters: Future Perfect is often considered inferior to the second game either due to abandoning it's Goldeneye roots and/or being very glitchy.

* ContestedSequel: Timesplitters: Future Perfect is often considered inferior to the second game either due to abandoning it's Goldeneye roots and/or being very glitchy. However its usually regarded for more emphasis on the story and some well done humor to make up for it.

** The problem mostly comes from getting the three most obvious weapons and then not knowing where the fourth weak point is. They're two side-mounted missile launchers, but they're not immediately visible.

** This [[Tropers/DeceasedWagerGroup troper]] found that the main theme splices very well into jazz trombone.
** No mention of the Victorian multiplayer tileset music in [=TS2=]? Not surprised, sadly. I could only find it in that particular tileset, nowhere else in the game. Which is probably why it's underappreciated.
*** Actually, the Victorian tileset music is, if I recall correctly, the "Castle" theme from [=TS1=].
** And let's not forget [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aytbwCENa04 "Chinese"]] On the original.

*** The Deer Haunter can be easily killed by standing with your back touching the wall of the hole it came out of: it can't get close enough to hit you. And Jo-Beth Casey? Hilarious.
*** Jo-Beth Casey isn't as funny when a glitch causes her to attack you for no reason...

Added DiffLines:

* SeinfeldIsUnfunny: The first game isn't regarded well nowadays due to it's barebones presentation and lacking the features introduced in the sequels.

Added DiffLines:

** The Robot Factory in Timesplitters 2 is one. With [[EverythingTryingToKillYou dozens of robots often teleporting in on you]], [[EliteMook stronger robots]] that take a lot of hits to go down and wield the deadliest weapons in the level, turrets and floating mines waiting around corners, and your default weapon's laser being able to bounce back and hit you, this level is frustrating to beat [[NintendoHard even on Easy difficulty]]. Good luck getting the ''Rad Racer'' cartridge on Hard.....
