* CompleteMonster: The Scientist/Big Brother is well known for his hatred of magicians due to their ability to compete with his immense strength and speed, and always tries to [[FinalSolution exterminate them]], even as they make up more than half the population. He uses a machine to make Middle Brother incredibly stupid, before punching Little Brother just hard enough to make him lose his memories and later [[CainAndAbel tries to kill him]] when the latter remembers and begs him to stop. Having gotten rid of his brothers, the Scientist creates increasingly dangerous stickbots to kill magicians before building a HumongousMecha designed to kill Overseer Lolph. When that plan fails, he goes into hiding, [[UnwittingTestSubject tricks Dave and Justice]] into fighting stick figures fused with {{nanomachines}}, and nearly has Justice killed just as she reciprocates Dave's feelings. Later on, he [[ProfessorGuineaPig uses the nanobots on himself]], fully intending to punch every magician into extinction, as well as anyone else who refuses to bow to him.

* WhatDoYouMeanItsNotForKids: Although the characters are mostly stick figures, they have a tendency to die in a dramatic manner, even when the violence was [[BloodlessCarnage toned down]] after ''The Cliff 5''. And did we mention how often Lolph invokes ThisIsForEmphasisBitch?

Just found out there's an approval thread for Magnificent Bastard, so I'm taking this away for now.

* MagnificentBastard: The Scientist has his moments, even if he isn't as smart as Middle Brother/Mr. Sheep. For example, he personally watched Lolph fight the Elder Serpent, allowing him to get a grasp on the Overseer's fighting style. He also tricks Mike and Mr. Sheep into giving him a power stone to power the Ultimate Stickbot with in exchange for the soul stone device that Lolph needed. Then he designs the Ultimate Stickbot in such a way that it can endure Lolph's Meteor Burst attack and leave him utterly vulnerable. Had Mike not [[BigDamnHeroes shown up]] to use his Full Heal on Lolph, the Scientist would have succeeded in killing the most powerful magician of that time.

* AwesomeEgo: Lolph Dundgren is overly confident and reckless, to the point that he thought reviving The One for his own purposes wouldn't GoHorriblyWrong. Even so, he almost always comes out on top against many threats to the Stickworld.

* CryForTheDevil:
** Many viewers feel this way about The One after his backstory was revealed in an episode made after ''The Cliff 6''. Initially presented as a GenericDoomsdayVillain who vaporizes most people with his telekinesis, The One is in reality a [[spoiler:stick figure who lost his parents when others decided their powers made them too dangerous to exist. From that point on, The One simply attacked anyone under the assumption that they would try to hurt him anyway, a perspective that the audience couldn't help but pity him for]].
** The same could be said for The First Overseer when ''his'' backstory was revealed after ''The Cliff 7''. Like The One, the First Overseer [[spoiler:also went on the path FromNobodyToNightmare. Unlike The One however, he didn't even have the luxury of loving parents as they kept calling him weak and useless. The poor guy's wife Sarah got killed by his brother James just because he thought he didn't deserve to one, and TheNameless stick figure was forced to [[CainAndAbel kill James]] in return before he could get to Gabriel too. That traumatizing incident led to Gabriel's father obsessing over protecting his only real family left, even before he went completely mad from becoming an Overseer. A lot of viewers hope that he could get his own HeelFaceTurn like The One, though that's not as likely considering how irreparably insane he has become]].

* TearJerker: Mike's wife and son, Mary and Marcus, are especially heartbroken when Mike tells them about Balthazar's prophecy that Mike would be killed by The One. Thankfully, Lolph decides to use the soul stone to revive Mike after his plan to use it for his brother fails spectacularly.

* AwesomeMusic: Although most music tracks used in the series are royalty-free music that didn't belong to Zeruel82, he still uses them well in scenes where they have the most impact.

** ''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_S9IfKFxiQ&t=1s Ghost Chase Thriller]]'' by Sir Cubworth was first used in during ''The Cliff 5'' when Lolph first becomes an Overseer and beats The One in a fight with greater stakes than ever before. From that point on, this theme would play whenever our heroes get caught in a battle that they escape by the edge of their teeth.
** ''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x76KFVyXcA4 Thunderstorm]]'' by Hanu Dixit is used in more grim situations when the situation can get serious, such as The One splitting the Stickworld, [[spoiler:and later putting it back together]].
