Ozzy's a real person (who went through really bad times), and Badass Decay prohibits real life examples.

* BadassDecay: This was the turning point where most people say Ozzy changed from being a rock god of darkness, to an aging, family friendly bumbler.

* SugarWiki/FunnyMoments: The show follows Ozzy as he gets to perform at the Queen's Jubilee. Upon meeting Prince William he asked where the loo was. The prince looked up and down the massive ornate hallways of Buckingham Palace and deadpanned "Oh I don't fucking know."

** Ozzy singing "Winter Wonderland" with Jessica Simpson. He's so heavily autotuned that he sounds like a dying robot, and when Sharon shows up he screams in the middle of the song.

*** Becomes HarsherInHindsight after a BBC special with Ozzy revealed that the entire family was pretty much drunk 24-7 during the filming of the show. One can't help but feel that, while it was certainly funny, it was utterly exploitative on MTV's behalf.

* HarsherInHindsight: The entire nature of The Osbournes show in general; a later special from the BBC years later after Ozzy had finally gotten sober and cleaned up revealed just how much of a mess the entire family was at the time. Looking back, it's difficult to not feel that Ozzy and family were exploited pretty horribly by MTV.

* NauseaFuel: The show is famous for its uncensored showings of the family dogs and cats shitting, pissing and puking and it becomes the central topic of more than one episode. On the DVDCommentary Jack and Sharon express confusion as to why a dog shitting is a-ok for TV but someone's ass crack isn't.

* HeartwarmingMoments: The show does have a few. After the comedy of Ozzy wrestling with his state-of-the-art TV, Jack comes to help him finally find the History Channel. He then cracks a decidedly non-alcoholic Diet Coke and watches a war documentary with his son. Considering being history buffs was always what they had in common (to the point they have a show touring historical sites now) it's rather sweet foreshadowing.
