Eh, not really; Ripping Yarns is entirely a parody of old Victorian / Edwardian adventure stories, whereas The Comic Strip Presents... is a lot more varied. Maybe the "Five" ones at least, but in general aside from "they're both funny anthologies", there's not really any meaningful similarities between the two.
