Danny's child was a girl.

** At the end of ''The Last Battle'', the third and last series, when Wormwood checks his newborn son for signs he might be another potential Antichrist... and realizes that he's just a perfectly normal, healthy human infant. His happy relief at knowing his progeny won't have to go through the same shitshow as him is palpable.

** Heavily hinted in-story that Jay doesn't ''want'' to be healed, as going through the same "died for our sins" gig a second time around was too much to bear, especially since a) people somehow thought being terrible in his name was a good thing, and b) he now knew the truth about [[AlmightyIdiot his father being a drooling moron]].

** At the start of Issue #3, a comic book store owner dies of a heart attack. He meets an angel, and realizes that "If you're here, then... I made it?" The angel confirms this, and when the man questions why he got into Heaven when he didn't do anything extraordinary, the angel explains that you don't ''have'' to be a saint to get into Heaven. The comic book store owner didn't do anything ''really'' bad, and spent his life making the world a little better at a time by introducing people to good literature. It's an incredibly comforting thought that all it takes to get into Heaven is just being ''decent''.
