** Yosef in Clare's season is treated like a selfish jerk by both her and all the other men for calling Clare out on her degrading group date. While it was not necessarily Clare's fault, the fact that no one empathizes with what Yosef is saying shows a DoubleStandard in the show. Yosef is making good points about how "naked dodgeball" has nothing to do with winning Clare's heart, and is just there to be humiliating. Instead of taking his concerns seriously, Clare yells at him for or being disrespectful and kicks him off the show. Even during the Tell All, everyone in the show was still against him. If the genders were reversed, and a female contestant voiced her concerns in a similar way, she likely wouldn't have been treated so harshly. On the flip side, it's also sexist towards Clare, as Chris Harrison asks Yosef if he would speak that way to his daughter (a child). Apparently, adult women need to be treated like children and never be criticized for their behaviour.

* AuthorsSavingThrow: After the immature crap that [[TheScrappy Clare Crawley]] put the Bachelors and The Bachelor Nation through, the fandom almost immediately jumped back on board for Season 16. [[BreakoutCharacter Tayshia Adams]] was coming in to take Clare's place. Her first action proved how wise this decision really was. What was Tayshia's first action towards the most likely traumatized Bachelors? To call off the Rose Ceremony, just letting them all relax and have a fun evening together, and took the time to get to know them all.

Or an unfair move to the other Bachelors, and just more pandering to an AttentionWhore that the producers somehow liked?

While no one ever believes Caelynn was innocent in the situation, after her multiple verbal assaults on him and his character, the debate remains if Blake crossed a major line in exposing her private tweets to the world in an attempt to defend himself, especially after her well known history as a survivor of rape and sexual abuse. While a lot of people, including the producers and many of the other Bachelor and Bachelorettes, say yes he went too far, just as many say no.

* MorePopularReplacement: Tayshia for Clare. In comparison Tayshia has proven to act much more maturely than Clare, a woman over a decade older than her, and has treated all the Bachelors kinder and more compassionately in her first evening alone than Clare did (unless they were Dale), during the entirety of her short run as Bachelorette.

'''Hannah''': We will not renew for another season. Again my apologies, and God bless The United States of America.
** Even before that, after Luke P goes on a tirade after learning that she and Peter had sex in the windmill during their dream date, Luke tries to hide his self righteousness behind his religion after Hannah tells him to back off. Hannah, also a Christian, makes her feelings clear, "I have had sex, and guess what. Jesus still loves me." Then tells him he's eliminated, escorting him to the limo herself, and even flipping him the bird before it leaves.

* TheScrappy: Several contestents and Bachelor/Bachelorette's for a multitude of reasons, but special mention goes to Bachelor Juan Pablo for being an incredible narcissist even by the shows standards. Then there are his comments that there would never be a Gay Bachelor/Bachelorette because it would be too "Perverted" for basic cable. Not to mention that he came off as offended the question was even asked.
** Arie Luyendyck Jr. and Lauren Burnham, for various reasons. The first being that many fans found Arie an odd choice to be the Bachelor, as many felt he lacked personality and was too old (while most of the women competing for his affection were at least 10 years his junior), and the fact that it had been ''six years'' since his original appearance in the franchise. The second (and bigger) reason why fans dislike him, was his breakup with original winner, Becca Kufrin, breaking off their engagement ''on camera'', and then proposing to runner-up Lauren at the ''After the Final Rose'' special. Lauren faced much backlash for [[WhyWouldAnyoneTakeHimBack taking him back despite everything he did]]. Their behavior since the show hasn't won them many fans in the franchise either.
** Luke P, from Hannah's season (the one currently running as of 2019) is widely regarded as too big a jerk to be even the fun kind of villain. He comes off as rude at best, and has made some very controlling/possessive comments about Hannah's dates with other guys (nothing wrong with him being jealous that he didn't get the "naked bungee-jumping" date, but saying Hannah should have "saved" that for her husband and was disrespecting him by doing it was over the line). When he showed up at the final rose ceremony despite already having been kicked off, viewers became genuinely afraid that he was a stalker. He also consistently insults other contestants, denies saying things he ''absolutely'' said, and doesn't seem to know how to properly apologize. Needless to say, it was all the more satisfying to see the other male contestants and Hannah rip him a new one during the live reunion.
** Before Luke P, there was Chad Johnson from Jojo's season, which while not as nearly hated as Luke P. eventually came to be, was at that point, probably the most hated contestant in the entire ''Bachelor'' franchise. The man was a real life Narcissus, even going out of his way to call Jojo, you know the woman he's supposed to be vying for, a nag, leaving dirty uneaten plates of deli-meat all over the mansion and genuinely seemed like he had a personality disorder that left the other Bachelors in constant danger. Along with being completely volatile, he was openly hostile, making threats against the other men, even one time stating he would hunt down and kill the others after the show was over, and even resorting to violence in one sequence ripping Evan's shirt during a group date with Jojo, and punching a door so hard he drew blood on his knuckles. Jojo finally sick of his antics, and his bullying of the other guy, left with Alex during their 2-on-1 date, with Chad genuinely seeming like it was a prank that he got eliminated. Instead of disappearing with dignity, he returned to the mansion, and once again he tried threatening the other men, who finally having enough of his shit, ordered him to leave. When Jojo called him an AttentionWhore during the After Rose Special, the entirety of the men and a majority of the live audience gave her a standing ovation. His behavior on "Bachelor's in Paradise" did not help his reputation. After being consistently drunk to the point he passed out on the beach til morning, leading to him yelling at Daniel, being extra aggressive with Lace and calling Sarah "A One armed Bitch," when Sarah tried to defend her, the producers and Chris Harrison were finally forced to eject him from the show to the other Bachelor and Bachelorettes relief. Of course Chad took this as well as one might expect, yelling at Chris and trying to provoke him. Chris being a professional took it all in stride. In the end the man just seems to have a few screws loose, that makes his behaviors, while somewhat entertaining, particularly frightening.
** Bentley Williams, during Ashley Herbert's season, for his two faced nature, while getting Ashley to start falling for him, he admitting he doesn't feel anything for her, stating he doesn't find her attractive, even making a callous joke of "I'm going to break Ashley's heart, I hope my hair looks okay though, ''ha-ha''." Watching Ashley cry, while he unintelligibly yammered on his reasons to her of wanting off the show, just made him all the more dick-ish.
** Wes for Jillian and Jed for Hannah, the two are almost frighteningly parallels to the other, both are southern twanged singer-songwriters, seemingly, and in Jed's case admittedly, on the show to help their music careers, and on that note, hated for the exact same reason. They both already had girlfriends during their attempts to woo their respective Bachelorettes, Jed making it all the way too proposing to Hannah, until she found out about his other relationship, from a People Magazine article of all places, and revealed on the After The Rose special, she dumped him.
** Kelsey from Chris' season, just for how incredibly creepy the girl was, relating to how she is a widow, and how that tragic fact is "Isn't my story Amazing." ''Yeesh!!!''
** Kalon from Emily's season, the boastful, chauvinistic rich dude, that loved showing off his wealth whenever he could. But the straw that broke the camel's back with Emily and the Bachelor Nation was referring to Emily's daughter Ricki, a child from her relationship with her late fiancé Ricky Hendrick who had died when his airplane went down, as "Baggage". You know you're one of the biggest villains in Bachelor history when what is often believed to be one of the Sweetest Bachelorettes in the franchise gives you a well deserved "Get the Fuck Out!"

Of course Chad took this as well as one might expect, yelling at Chris and trying to provoke him. Chris being a professional took it all in stride. In the end the man just seems to have a few screws loose, that makes his behaviors, while somewhat entertaining, particularly frightening.

Along with being completely volatile, he was openly hostile, making threats against the other men, even one time stating he would hunt down and kill the others after the show was over, and even resorting to violence in one sequence ripping Evan's shirt during a group date with Jojo. Jojo, and punching a door so hard he drew blood on his knuckles. ** Wes for Jillian and Jed for Hannah, the two are almost frighteningly parallels to the other, both are southern twanged singer-songwriters, seemingly on the show to help their music careers, and on that note, hated for the exact same reason. They both already had girlfriends during their attempts to woo their respective Bachelorettes, Jed making it all the way too proposing to Hannah, until she found out about his other relationship, from a People Magazine article of all places, and revealed on the After The Rose special, she dumped him.

He also consistently insults other contestants, denies saying things he ''absolutely'' said, and doesn't seem to know how to properly apologize. Needless to say, it was all the more satisfying to see the other male contestants and Hannah rip him a new one during the live reunion.

When he showed up at the final rose ceremony despite already having been kicked off, viewers became genuinely afraid that he was a stalker. ** Blake Horstmann is one, most notably in season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise. It all ranges from fellow paradise-goer Caelynn Miller-Keyes screaming at him about a one-night stand, to Kristina Shulman, the girl he had been attracted to for almost all of Paradise, breaking off their relationship. It's safe to say that he's had a terrible Paradise. Oh, and let's not forget the finale when he was in the hot seat...

** Later on during the tell all, when Hannah and the other men once again tear him down in front of the entire live audience, unable to take any more of it like a man, he gets up and walks out of the studio like the whiny little bitch-boy he is, with even Chris Harrison concluding, "I thinks that the perfect symbol of lets move on," with Hannah agreeing, "The Luke show is over," and openly apologizing not just to the men, but to the Bachelor Nation for keeping him around so long.
-->'''Hannah''': I just want to say Bachelor Nation, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for this whole thing with Luke and him just being on our television screens for so long, way longer than really any of us ever desired. It's my fault, ''a lot of it his'', but I did it. I was there, I'm sorry. I'm tired of talking about him, Chris are you tired of talking about him?\\
'''Chris Harrison''': ''Amen!''\\
'''Hannah''': Are you all tired of talking about him?\\
''(All the guys and the studio audience cheer)''\\
'''Hannah''': The Luke P. show is cancelled!\\
''(Audience applause grows louder)''\\
'''Hannah''': We will not renew for another season. Again my apologies, and God bless The United States of America.
