* FridgeBrilliance: In "Snowed In," for a short time after her injury, Flash behaves like a small, scared child, not at all like her usual self. She actually seemed like she was about to cry when she saw that Victor hadn't made a particular crab dish that she liked. At first, it seems strange, not only because Flash isn't usually the one to whine, but also because a teenager should not be so emotional over a minor injury like a sprained ankle. But in hindsight, it makes sense. Flash was always the hypercompetent one, always on top of things. She was the one who took care of other people, including Victor and even her own mother. And now, she was forced to rely on others to take care of her. The feeling of helplessness that comes of being injured and dependent on others wasn't something she was used to handling, and it frightened her. It wasn't long, though, before she managed to pull herself together and resumed her usual snark.
