** Everybody's reactions to Eazy's diagnosis. Tomika leaves the hospital room in tears at the stress of it all, Eazy is left alone in his bed and starts crying himself. When Ren and Yella come to visit, they try to tough it out, but eventually have to leave because it was too much to bear. Dre finally vists by the time Eazy is comatose, and starts talking to him as casually as he can, even when tears are streaming down his face. The only one who is never shown as visibly distraught is Cube, and even then, that's implied to only be because he can't bear to see his friend in a coma.

Even when Jerry starts losing his cool and shouting, Eric keeps his own, and walks away.]] It's a moment that shows just how much Eazy has matured since he was slanging dope and demanding money owed to him at the beginning of the film.

* CompleteMonster: While all of the record dealers are selfish and corrupt, Suge Knight is quite easily the worst of them all. Instead of manipulating his clients with false contracts or sweet promises of nothing like the others do, Suge chooses to savagely beat people up to get what he wants, such as when he pistol whips a man for merely parking in his spot, or [[spoiler: beating Eazy within an inch of his life to get him to sign Dre over to Death Row.]] Suge also seems to get enjoyment out of doing these heinous acts, as he is seen hosting a party laughing and drinking while one man is seen in his underwear, bruised, withdrawn and humiliated. He even gets the other people in the room to join in as well, much to [[spoiler: Dre's]] disgust. Brutal and unfeeling, Suge is an example of the worst of what the music industry has to offer.

Getting arrested by the Detroit Police for performing "Fuck Tha Police," and the riot that results from that only helps boost their cred further. The trope is even [[DiscussedTrope all-but-named]] by him and Cube later in the film.
